Coconut Lodge

Séjour très agréable pendant lequel rien n'ai laissé au hasar pour donner entière satisfaction aux "clients" traités comme des personnes de la famille... A RECOMMANDER sans hésiter !!!

L'endroit est paradisiaque, les chambres sont belles et nickels,le service est au top, nous avons aimé la tranquilité, la beauté de l'endroit et surtout l'acceuil de nos hotes

Everything excellent, but not the location

Location. Far away from the city. we moved after one night. booking.com made an error on the map

The food as well as the hospitality was awesome. Nancy and Mike have done a superb job of making their home the best B&B I have ever stayed at anywhere.

Friendly hosts, tastefully designed room, great pool and garden, hearty meals.

The hosts were very hospitable. They take pride in maintaining the lodge in great condition, very clean, inviting, great decor in rooms and wonderful garden. They make you truly feel like their special guests. Great breakfast (try the home made bacon) made to order. We also had lunch and dinner here and the food was wonderful. While we stayed here they had a lot of repeat guests. Once you stay here you want to come back. Highly recommend the palce.

The proprietors are lovely. Really attentive to your every need. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Plenty of pillows. Water pressure was excellent in the shower. Towels were fluffy. Free Wifi. As much coffee as you want for breakfast. Very calm, serene location. Being out of the madness of the city is nice.

It's located pretty far from the city so you have to add in the cost of daily transfers to and from the city/airport to your room rate.

Nancy & Mike are fantastic people that make everyone welcome. The lodge is immaculate, very pretty, peaceful & well thought out. The food & service was great. They go out their way to make sure every one is taken care of incredible hosts. Arranged tours & airport transportation, they go out of their way to make your stay easy. Mike is a great cook and loves to share his talent at breakfast & dinner "that alone is worth the stay. We plan on coming back in April.

Beautifull location! Goed facilities and the hosts are verry helpfull with everything! The dinner and the breakfast are magnificant. A car makes it easier to go aound, but the owners ar willing to take you to the city. I recommend rental car! We had one, and it made life more easy!

Beds could be hard

Coconut Lodge was beautiful! It's outside of the city so it is quiet and peaceful. The owners, Mike and Nancy, were kind and attentive. The amenities were modern, attractive, and always kept clean. They even asked about our dietary needs/restrictions. Impressed! I'd definitely stay here agian.

One of the pros is also one of the cons: location. If you are looking to go to various locations in and around Panama City, I definitely recommend getting a rental car. Transfers can quickly add up.

I felt like I was in the company of friends in a relaxing and beautiful setting. The food was also amazing and it was nice to play some tennis and swim in the pool. Once we were used to the roads, it was relatively quick to get around (unless there was traffic) and we were glad to have the freedom of a rental car.

You will fall in love with this place for its design, food, and the amazing hospitality. Nancy and her family go above-and-beyond in every aspect of making you feel comfortable and welcome. I recommend eating here, we had breakfast and dinner and both were amazing. The rooms are very nice with great designs and the pool is picturesque. Great atmosphere for dining, having drinks and getting to know other guests as well as Nancy and her family. There are also great excursions that can be arranged through them. We did the Gamboa/Rainforest tour with Captain Carl and would recommend it.

We didn't like having to leave!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Coconut Lodge. The setting was lovely and the separate studio was charming, comfortable and very well designed. The hosts, Nancy and Mike, were great folks, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Mike made a most delicious dinner for the 5 guests, plentiful and superbly cooked. I only wish we had more time to stay there but this was our last stop of a 2 week trip. I would highly recommend the Lodge as a wonderful place to stay

What a wonderful address.. In a residential villa area in the green hills. Nancy and Mike makes you feel very welcome. Thank you both (and daughter) for the lovely and entertaining 2 nights stay. You landed in our personal top 10 B&B' s we ever visited. Top.

We recently returned from our amazing trip to Panama and Coconut Lodge was our little treat at the end of our holiday. After staying in 8 different hostes in 15 days inc. 2 nights on the beautiful but very basic San Blas we were exhausted and looking for something a little more luxurious and relaxing for our last 2 days, and we are sooo glad we choose Coconut Lodge!! With Nancy's amazing hostess skills and Mike's delicious food we felt really well looked after! When we arrived they were fully-booked due to a blip in the booking systems, but they went out of their way to make up their spare guest room and then offered us a free bar to compensate! Both of us can honestly say we have never experienced better hospitality in any other place we have visited, even at swanky 5* hotels, and we both said that Coconut Lodge wasn't only one of the best places we stayed in Panama, but one of the best places we have EVER stayed at. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we wished we could have stayed longer!! Liz and Jon (England)

It's a little further out of Panama City so would cost alot to get in/out (about $25 each way) if you don't drive, however we didn't personally find this a problem as we preferred to stay and enjoy the pool as Panama City was so hot and we had seen what we had wanted to see. Nancy and Mike also organise pick-ups on arrival which is probably worth taking as they sometimes have trouble with taxi drivers not wanting to go out of the city

A very pretty and comfortable place. the hosts are very nice and try to help you make the best of your stay in Panama city.

It is a bit far from the city center but the hosts usually manage to pick you up where you arrive and help with transportation to go visit places.

Die Coconut Lodge ist traumhaft! Schöne Zimmer in einer tollen Anlage in ruhiger Naturlage in einem "Vorort" von Panama City. Die Besitzer, Nancy und Mike, sind fantastisch: super freundlich, äußerst hilfreich und sehr zuvorkommend. Und dabei auch persönlich interessiert, so dass wir uns eigentlich fast mehr als Freunde, als als Gäste gefühlt haben. Abendessen und Frühstück waren ebenfalls fantastisch und man merkt einfach an allem, mit wie viel Liebe die beiden Ihre Lodge betreiben. Die Lodge selbst liegt in einem unserer Meinung nach sehr sicherem Wohnviertel von Las Cumbres und wir hatten keinerlei Bedenken tagsüber durch das Viertel zu wandern (nach einer Empfehlung von Nancy & Mike). Wir können die Coconut Lodge jedem wärmsten empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einer ruhigen und traumhaften Unterkunft in der Nähe von Panama City ist.

Hier gibt es nichts zu nennen, da wir rundherum zufrieden waren.

1.Sehr familiär und nette Gastgeber. 2. Tolle Lodge und gutes Essen. 3. Sehr schöner Garten und Swimmingpool .

Super Service, Besitzer sind extrem hilfsbereit und gastfreundlich

Die Zimmer sind unglaublich wohnlich und hochwertig eingerichtet. Der Garten mit Schwimmbad ist voller tropischer Pflanzen und Blüten. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch. Nirgendwo in Panama haben wir besser zu Abend gegessen als bei Mike und Nancy. Sie bieten einen tollen Service für Ausflüge und sind immer hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Die Coconutlodge war trotz guter Wegbeschreibung schwer zu finden, weil direkt am Eingang zu der Strasse, an der die Lodge liegt, ein Hinweisschild fehlt. Das soll aber bald angebracht werrden.

In English: There is very much the good relation of owners of this hotel - Nancy and Mike to the guests. They are provided with all necessary. We felt here as in our own family! The hotel is located in a fine place - in silent suburb of Panama City that promotes good rest after a noisy city. The good parity of the price and quality of services given by hotel.
