Restaurant and staff were excellent

Room was bad, bed uncomfortable, shower head went in 20 different directions, sink faucet almost came off every time n my hand.

Awesome place. Nice room, king size bed, flat tv, safe, sofa, wardrobe, and the best it is very clean. We also got a hammock outside, nice for relaxing. On the rooftop nice place to hang around, there are some sunbeds, table and chairs and the best there is a little pool for relaxing. From there you got a nice view to the sea. The guesthouse is close to two different beaches. If you wanna go around the island, you have to walk, otherwise rent a vehicle. In the restaurant from Gerald you really get good food. Yummy!! The german owner is a good cook. Also when you went fishing and bring your own fish with, he is preparing it really nice....

The location to the beaches and the great staff. Also the various animals he had roaming around his grounds.

Boring menu. Although breakfast was included, it never changd and after 7 mornings of scrambled eggs,packaged ham and cheese it got quite boring. Also it would be nice to have a steak on the menu. Otherwise food was OK

Gerald was very good about making sure all of our needs were met andpersonally helped with booking our activities. Would definitely recommend B&B Gerald.

Everything about B&B Gerald was welcoming and pleasing. I especially liked that the location allowed close walking access to the little stores (all 4 of them) and three of the gorgeous beaches. Gerald himself is a knowledgeable and gregarious guy. The common areas of the B&B are muy bonita and the rooms, once plain, are now rustically charming. But my favorite was the menagerie of animals, especially the young buck, who meets arriving tourists at the ferry beach

no large swimming pool

The location was good. The beaches were close by. We stayed for three days. the island itself is awesome.

It is a budget B&B. But even so, the towels could have been changed at least once. The food at Gerald's is very pricy, and very salty. Gerald was not very attentive to his guests needs. The room was cleaned once in 3 days. Stay away.

A charming, intimate hotel and restaurant very near an exquisite beach. Easy stroll to plane and ferry. The cleaning lady drew our attention to an iguana in the yard; 2 people were happy to be photographed filleting the fish of the day- 4 foot dorado- on a table under a tree in the yard. Our definite hotel of choice on Contadora!

The owners and staff were awesome. The rooms, bed, extra large living room-like chairs to sit in to watch TV, bathroom, and food were excellent. We would not stay anywhere on Contadora but there again.

Location near beaches, ferry landing and airstrip. Comfortable room - not luxurious but very suitable for a quiet, "natural" island destination - quiet A/C Good food and pleasant service in restaurant

Gerald's B&B is wonderful. We were picked up promptly from the water taxi. The remote location, clean beaches and friendly locals made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. By far the best food on the island. I would definately reccomend treating yourself to the lobster dinner during your stay. We devoured it! If you do go fishing, hire a local fisherman who knows the water. We went with Nino and caught fish each time we went out. They were able to prepare our fish for dinner at the B&B, very much appreciated. Gerald helped us obtain a golf cart ($50 a day) and we loved whizzing around the tiny island. Stop by the welcome center, John is helpful.

They have an 8 month Bambi that comes everyday to visit and the staff feeds him watermelon etc. Bambi and the owner's dog are adorable and give each other kisses.

Bath towels need to go ! Need new ones or Bring your own. Make sure you get your shot of RUM in your Pina Colada ! There pool is the size of my bathtub so keep that in mind.

We arrived at the small aiport of Isla Contadora and Gerald was there to meet us. Our room was perfect, there is no view from the room, but really not needed as the entire island is a view. The restaurant and bar were a tropical decor and wonderful. The food was very good. We especially enjoyed Geralds humor and friendliness. he was always there if we had any concerns. Loved his "tame" deer too. The fish was delivered fresh everyday and prepared to perfection. The complimentary breakfast was a full course meal. Loved our stay on Contadora and at Geralds!

Gerald, the owner, is an excellent host and has good staff to support him. The restaurant is the best on the island with ample selection and good quality food at reasonable prices. The room we had was clean and comfortable and well appointed with flat screen TV, mini-fridge, in-room safe and free wi-fi. Gerald gave us suggestions for our daytime activities and made the reservation when we were ready. All in all we were very happy for our (too short) stay and definitely plan to return soon.

Gerald, the owner, is very hospitable and all staff, including Sergio the facilities manager (or whatnot) were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful. Make sure to ask about personalized trips to see the whales and go fishing.

It's a bang for your buck. The food is quite good and the location is prime for debarking from the ferry and 2 minute walk to the hotel. However, there is staff available to come and meet you in a little bus that takes you and luggage to the hotel.

Personal and familiar attention. The rooms were simple, but very comfortable and well equipped. The food is fantastic. The location, the best in the island. European tourism, which means they know how to service people, and be on top pf their employees. Thanks Sabina, my daughter and I had an awesome time!

Non alcoholic drinks at the bar expensive for us.

Hotel Geral is great. Gerald is incredibly helpful. It{s not only the best restaurant on the island (better than Romantico, which is more costly) it{s next to the best beach on the island (Largo). The rooms were cool, comfortable, clean and had hbo! Great rooftop pool.

no es culpa del hotel pero no habia hielo en la isla por escasez de agua, la playa mas cercana esta sola porque estaban filmando survivor.

Vi tyckte att läget var bra. Nära till stranden och flygplatsen. Maten och personal var bra. Den lilla polen på taket var nödvändig.

La atencion y comida fue excelente!! Las habitaciones no tienen vista al mar pero son amplias tienen buen sercvicio y en la isla es el mejor lugar para descansar. Lastima que fui en una epoca donde no se pescaba!!!
