Frienly staff, good locacion.
Such friendly service and very helpful! This place was recommended to me by a friend and I definitely would recommend it to anyone :)
Great price, staff eager to please, charming courtyard, quiet at night, secure, location fabulous for artisan area of Cusco.
The staff was excellent, very welcoming and always helpful. The location is nice and quiet, but it makes it a bit difficult to go back and forth because of having to walk up hill. Breakfast was great. Having a heater.
The lighting in the room is pretty poor. There is no hot water in the faucet, so it's hard to wash hands, let alone your face. For the price, they should definitely offer toiletries.
Very good service, extremely welcoming and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable. Hot water, in clean bathroom.
I had just had a knee replaced so it was hard for me to get up the stairs and nobody offered to help so my husband had to take all our bags up.
Employees were very, very kind and helpful.
My friend and I both had reservations we'd made changes to, and our changes were not reflected in our bookings. I'd even emailed the hotel manager ahead of time to let him know about the change, and he hadn't recorded it. There weren't any rooms available for us when we arrived, so showing proof of our booking was useless. The receptionist called around to find us a new room elsewhere and we had to drag our luggage there - it was late and freezing and really not convenient. This hotel is disorganized and I wouldn't stay here again. To be clear, the receptionist and staff were super nice and helpful; management was the issue.
nice friendly staff, but different staff people every day. Good breakfast
promised our laundry the same day but took two extra days. room small and old. No good common place to socialize with our other friends who were staying there too. Other friends stayed at a place a few doors down that was much nicer for only $5 more
This was a nice little place just a few blocks from the Main square (Plaza de armas) I requested a taxi service from the airport and they sent out Jaime. Jaime turned out to be very helpful, honest and overall great guy, we hired him to give us a private tour of the sacred valley all the way to Ollataytambo. The staff at the hotel, in particular, Lizette and Anita were very nice and helpful. they made us feel very welcomed and helped us settle in with a breakfast and early check in. I recommend this place.
The room we got was a bit small and was located at the very top floor. It wasn't too bad since we only stayed one night. the remaining rooms looked much bigger.
Excellent staff, wonderful breakfast, very nice rooms, hot showers with great pressure
Upper rooms (6 & 7) can be noisy, staff doesn't speak a lot of English so practice a bit of spanish beforehand
WONDERFUL shower with hot water and great water pressure! Also, best bed I had in 2 weeks in Peru-- I could have slept all day.
Everything was great-- thank you!
Breakfast at 3: 30 am before leaving for Machu Picchu and that's wonderful.
Very nice guesthouse in a great quiet neighborhood of Cuzco. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the property is also very beautiful.
Only one staff member spoke English well and he wasn't around all that much, therefore, communication was a bit difficult at times. Also, two of us are pretty certain that we had bed bugs and were pretty bit up after our first night.
All the staff were friendly and professional. It is located in convenient area. Close to everything.
Very noisy. Even though it is on a street with no motor traffic, you hear other guests in their rooms, cats, dogs, people on the street, and people in the kitchen and breakfast room.
I loved the ambiance, location and breakfast. It was a little difficult to find, in a good way - Perfectly tucked back in the heart of San Blas. Close proximity to delicious restaurants and cool shopping.
The staff was difficult to communicate with. The checkout time was very early and my room was not 100% ready when I arrived. Quite nice, but could of stayed in a private room at a nice hostel for less and had a similar experience.
They wanted to give me a room with 3 beds, even if I had asked for a double room in my reservation. After they offered me a small room with matrimonial bed and no windows...they said the hostel was small and that they have no control for the reservations of matrimonial bed of booking. com... for all that they had give me a discount, but still was not what I was expecting from the room. I have changed for a much better and cheaper hostel at Cuesta San Blas...Cusco has a lot of options and good options even without reservation. They shuld care more if we make reservations...
Cute little place right on San Blas, very conveniently located. Of course, it's on a hill, and you have to walk uphill to get there, but it wasn't a problem for us.
Our first room was quite cold for some reason. Turning on the heater did not help. Luckily, there were 2 comforters on the bed.
The people were wonderful and the service exceptional. I felt very safe there. I'd go again in a heartbeat.....
I had to sit by the front office to get Wi Fi
The staff was very helpful including storing our luggage and having our room ready when we returned from the Inca Trail. I was very helpful that one of us spoke Spanish. The location in San Blas was very nice and we did not mind hiking up the hill especially since we were acclimating for the Inca Trail. Our room was very quiet and there were lots of blankets for cool nights
The internet did not work in our room so we had to go to the courtyard. Best to know Spanish to communicate. The breakfast was "included" but I was charged $15 per day for the two of us.
Grat location in old Cusco. Very charming with a great beakfast.
Staff needs to be more fluent in English.
Very quiet area but easy walking distance to good restaurants and weaving shops. Friendly staff! Brought coca tea to our rooms soon after our arrival to help us acclimate to altitude. Cute loft bedroom with spiral staircase. Nice cafe/art gallery/music venue across the street (that serves an excellent alpaca steak).
Longish walk from street with stairs, so if you have heavy baggage, be prepared to lug them. Faint mildew smell in bedroom.
Great hospitality! Super friendly and a great source of knowledge!!
Ten o'clock check out but wasn't a big deal
Secure location. Away from street noise and overly touristy areas like the plaza. Close to shops, attractions, hikes, and food options. Staff is super friendly and helpful! Very nice rooms & incredibly good deal for the price.
