The owner manager was fantastic going out of his way to make our stay a memorable one. We booked for one night but stayed five. It was excellent value for money. The breakfast was great with wholemeal bread--not normally on the menu.

The breakfast was good, a bit late as the staff had to go out and get it.

It was a bit dusty and over priced for what your getting.

The owners of this hostel (brothers Simone and Valentine) are very friendly, easy going and helpful. It's a small hostel so nice and quiet, and a lovely breakfast is served every morning with fruit juice, bread rolls and an egg. The location is good - not next to the beach but a very short walk away, with lots of restaurants nearby as well as places to get drinks and snacks and do laundry. The shower was hot and the bathroom was nice and clean, the beds were comfy and the temperature was nice. There is a lovely peaceful roof terrace for relaxing, and tables in the dining room to get work done. It felt very safe, and was good value for money.

The wifi was sporadic in our room, but we didn't mind going downstairs to the dining room to use the internet.

the staff couldn't be nicer, breakfast was made fresh every morning with eggs, bread and delicious fruit, and the room was very clean. Would highly recommend

The internet was only in the lobby, and would have loved internet in the room, but that is my only complaint.

Simone and Valentine (two brothers who ran the hostel) were very welcoming and helpful - for example they booked taxis and arranged for us to join an organised tour of Chan Chan. I would recommend this hostel to backpackers and especially surfers as the waves are within 2mins walk of the hostel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room didn't have glass panels above the door, but Simon put 2 of 3 in for us which blocked a draft and acted as a bit of a sound barrier. The shared bathrooms are 1 per 2 rooms and are kept really clean. Breakfast was really good - juice, egg, rolls, bread and jam and tea/coffee (7-9am), served to your table. The wifi was really good (including for streaming). We ended up booking an extra two nights as it is a very chilled out place.

The walls are very thin and not sealed (missing panels as mentioned above) so can be noisy. There was a live band in the pub next door on Thursday night but they finished at 11pm and the music turned off at about 12.30pm. That wasn't too bad but on the Saturday night there were people outside the hostel in the street making noise until 5am... Other than that the noise wasn't a problem - the hostel itself was very quiet and you can hear the ocean at night. (I'd recommend going for the cheaper rooms without the balconies as they are furthest from the street and bar). The sheets didn't fit the beds so came off in the night.

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Welcomed us at 730 am in the morning and organised a late night taxi to catch an overnight bus another night. Breakfast was really good considering it was included. Would recommend it to travellers who are looking for a friendly budget nights accommodation!
