The facilities are old.

Good location and helpful staff, warm duvets on the bed (it's cold in Cusco at night), and relative to Cusco good value...the town is a tourist honey pot, and overpriced in general. The Corihuasi might seem expensive in another location. An hour's walk to the Inca fortress above, but don't bother if you are spending a small fortune on visiting Machu Picchu anyway, as the Cusco ruins will set you back another $30 per person entry, and not worth it.

Breakfast a bit limited...especially if you don't eat eggs or drink coffee. No fresh fruit except bananas, no hot chocolate, no cheese or ham as an alternative to eggs.

It was a great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, nice people.

The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated and the view was amazing! I would recommend this stay to anyone. Best deal in town. The breakfast was great. They give you much good food and do not advertise it. They gave us a delicious large breakfast of eggs, muesli, bread, coffee and yogurt. The bed linens were good quality and very warm. Hair driers came in all the rooms.

The water was warm but not hot for showers.

The room number 20 has squeaking floor which is really annoy not only the occupants but the floor below. Also there is disco club nearby and the music was so loud and last almost through the night. Without the ear plugs it's a bit of challenge to get a good sleep.

Staff very friendly and helpful, great location with the Plaza de Armas very accessible, tons of restaurants and bars nearby, basic but nice breakfast. Lovely, homey room, very comfortable bed with nice linen. This was the second time I stayed and my room was much better than the first time.

Can hear noise from the courtyard / other rooms, but this is fairly standard in Cusco

This is a great family run establishment, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. It is a beautiful old colonial building, with stunning views over Cusco. Location is 2 blocks from Plaza de las Armas, so everything you need is within easy walking distance - great cafes and restaurants, all major tourist sites, Peru Rail etc. Very easy to catch a taxi on the street to go uphill if you can't face it - normally 5 soles - less than $2, and even if only 2 blocks, drivers don't mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights here. Thanks Ernesto and family!

Walking up the hill - but that is part of Cusco, and it is beautiful! And for the price of this hotel, you can afford to take a few taxis.

Corihuasi as a hotel is very, very beautiful. The view from the lounge is awe-inspiring, the rooms are big and comfy, it's safe and clean. Early check-in possible if you arrive at Cusco early in the morning.

Now there are two significant drawbacks. First one is the breakfast which is kindly served but of very poor quality. If you don't drink orange juice you'll have to drink water, if you ask for extra bread you'll not get it (or maybe get it in a typical Peruvian slow-motion style, meaning it'll arrive just in time for lunch). Pretty annoying that you can't just get the food yourself. The second issue is about the safety of credit cards provided to the hotel by booking. They print them out and keep them in a visible place on a desk and I was very much able to read at least a few numbers with all the details necessary for fraud. I think you should never send them the details unless absolutely necessary. Ah, and would forget that booking.com guests cannot take advantage of the 10% cash payment discount - which all the other guests can.

The views of the city were great, esp. if you booked the superior room. The location is not far from Plaza de Armas! Wifi is free and the staff helpful - we we te greeted with coca tea when we had to wait for our room for a few minutes.

Esp. the bathroom wasn't the best/newest( windows with no curtains and no way to cover, horrible shower), the bed not too comfy and the pillow very flat. The heating wasn't working properly, so it was very cold. ( the electric heater they put in the room didn't do much)

beds were so comfortable and location was fantastic.

water pressure was awful, no hot water . after5 days of hiking we arrived back at the hotel at 1130 pm only to find out the man working gave our reservation away so we were left to find a new place to sleep as exhausted as we were. man was very rude and offered no refund.

Staff shoud be better trained to deal with guests. Breakfast must be improved.

A great hotel with very friendly staff who were always happy to help me. Had a great view of the city from my room. Nice Breakfast. Slight hill to climb to hostel but no real issue

Four business friends enjoyed the rustic ambiance with fireplace , mate de coca tea for the sorroche , friendly staff, comfortable beds, and quick walk to the Plaza. Will stay there again.

Old style Spanish architecture was charming. Helpful staff. Views over Cusco were wonderful. Quiet location.

The Corihuasi has a great location close to the center of Cuzco with a great view of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful in arranging tours and onward travel, overall, a good place to stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! Coffee, juice, cereal with yogurt and eggs, The hotel has a certain charm to it . It did have quite a few stairs and we stayed at the bottom unit for two nights. We stayed in a different unit for our last two nights and it was great! It included a hair dryer and had a view.

For their price $68.us, how could a guest complain?!!!

The standard of the rooms seems to vary a lot, although the price is the same.

Friendly staff. Some rooms had great views although some rooms had no views. Nice ambience and lots of Coca tea. Lovely views from dining room. A bit of a trek up the hill but not too far from the square.

Our sons stayed in room 17 for 3 nights. A room for three it had very little light and absolutely no view. They changed to room 14 which was still quite dark. Lots of noise from the nightclub below and people coming and going in the early hours of the morning.

the beds were extremely comforatble. the room was very clean and quiet. we felt very safe. the breakfast room had a view of the city.

We loved our stay in this hotel! The service was exceptional, the showers hot, the bed very comfortable... Breakfast was served fresh every morning with warm bread, hot coffee and great views over the city and most importantly: the hotel is located in an incredible colonial building.. But with all the comfort of the modern century. We can highly recommend this hotel in Cuzco!

Great service as there was pick up from airport arranged and provided. Staff was friendly and helpful; they served tea while we were waiting for check in. The view was great. We took room 1.

The shower was cold and toiletries not provided.

Like many have noted, nice view from the hotel and the breakfast area. Location is great as well, I didn't mind the small hike up to get back to the hostel. There is a small church up the hill from the hostel that provide an awesome panoramic view of Cuzco, make sure you go check it out if you are staying here.
