The view was amazing , good breakfast Staff not helpful we could not check out the night before we left even though we were leaving early, it is not an Eco friendly hotel I don't know how it calls itself that. Walls thin and could hear neighbours having sex, claimed they could arrange taxi's for 8 sole but the hotel taxi always charged 10

The EcoInn was just across the street from Lake Titicaca. There was a beautiful garden on-site as well as llamas, sheep and guinea pigs. The breakfast buffet was delicious and offered a wide variety of different options. They began serving at 6 am which was nice since we were heading out for an early morning tour. The staff was always helpful. They provided oxygen if needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

We enjoyed the arrival of the alpacas each morning to feed outside the breakfast room. Big comfortable beds. One of the staff volunteered to drive us (for a fee) to meet our bus on the last morning when the taxi failed to arrive. The staff (except the doorman, who was friendly and helpful) always seemed distracted, never giving one their full attention. There wasn´t much exceptionally ´eco´ about the place (compared to the average hotel), except the recycling bin in the rooms.

The restaurant staff were very nice. We had a view of the lake, which was great, and the live lamas were cool. The room was beautiful, and it was cool that we could buy alpaca clothing right outside the entrance. They gave us an extra heater too when the one we had wasn't working well, and they always had coca tea available to help people with the altitude. They also arranged a cab whenever we needed it, but also had a full restaurant there if we felt like staying in but wanted some food. The front desk staff were kind of rude. I tried to use my Spanish with them and they were even more rude about it, especially the woman whose name I think was Sandy, at least on her name tag. We got over it since we were only paying $52/night for a place that's normally $150/night, but still, if they replaced the restaurant staff with the front desk staff, they'd be better off. They were far more friendly and helpful.

This is more like a hotel than a budget room or hostel. Rooms are clean, spacious, and the hotel offers all of the amenities. It's far from the action. For a quiet visit, that's great, but its a 7 or 8 minute cab ride each way to the action. Also, and this is weird, they offered a buffett dinner in the hotel every night - for $20 us dollars per person! Yikes! We took a cab to town (10 soles) had Pizza and drinks and dessert (70 soles) and came home in a cab (10 soles) for less than the buffet would have been for 2 people.

Me sentí engañado.
