El Condado Miraflores Hotel and Suites  

The staff are very helpful. House-keeping was efficient and good.The buffet-breakfast is small but adequate (3-star). Selection of fruit, meat,cheese and breads. Warm food consisted of scambled egg and two meats. Not kept very warm. The same cutlery is used for all three products. Vegatarians beware. (The coffee was the worst I have ever tasted:).

The hotel is split into two buildings. The suites building is definitely not a 4-star rating. standard 3-star. (Cannot comment on the Hotel part).The furnishings are tired but ok. Next door is a building site, with loud drilling and hammering starts at 8:00am every morning. The suites wired internet is slow but generally reliable. Totally adequate for email and small downloads. Do not bother trying to stream TV or movies. The gym is small and not maintained.The suana was out-of-order for the entire 4 weeks I was there. The A/C was noisey and in-effective.

Large clean rooms and very hot shower with great water pressure and free internet. Excellent location, complimentary welcome drink, good breakfast.

I would recommend this hotel for the location. Also the rooms are very spacious. The bed is very comfortable. There is a TV in the lounge and the bedroom ( we were in an apartment).

What I did not like about this hotel is that the bath is rather old and though it was a jacuzzie bath and I wanted to use it, I was not comfortable to do it. It just looked very scruffy and not very clean. Also the bedroom was quite noisy from the cars driving on the big road near the hotel (our bedroom was in the back of the hotel). Lima is a bit annoying anyway with drivers beeping their hoods at every crossroad and corner. Most of the staff did not speak English. I got a stomach bug from eating fruit at breakfast.

Good value for money and ideal location within walking distance of both pizza street and larcomar. Good room size although the bath was obviously designed for peruvians. Excellent pianist in thebar/restaurant..

Instant coffee at breakfast was a negative!

I feel so comfortable and safe there. I was last year with my husband, and he enjoyed.the food, service, ambiance, and shopping nearby. It's perfect if you are there to do bussiness, just for luxury or even get to know Lima a little better. This year I returned with my daughter, stayed there a few nights until taking off to Cuzco and made our way back to El Condado for the remaining of our trip. This hotel is very cozy, clean and everyone there will be more than glad to help you out with anything you need. Guests are very welcome here and will even keep your luggage there after check-out so you don't have to be roaming around Lima worrying about it. Definitely coming back next year and every time I come back to Lima.

On two visits they moved us to the apartment-suites property,which is just down the street from the better hotel. We never saw the rooms in the premier facility, but the suites we had were dumpy looking, had bad pillows and poor lighting. Not the four star property we had anticipated, but serviceable

Extra fees and charges not reflected on original reservation. A/c did not work. I felt that the room was very overpriced for the quality. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for much less. I would never stay there again. Not to mention there were two different hotels under the same name, on the same street with very different facilities. One of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel.
