Great location and very polite staff. Rooms are of good size. The hotel is a little bit old but still a good hotel. Internet is free but no wifi in room only with cable, which is trouble for smartphone users.

Clean and spacious. Business centre almost non-existant. The only PC was often not available. Although part of a smoke free environment, our room was often invaded by cigarette smoke. This may have been due to the location of the room above the lobby/reception area.

It was very conveniently located, close to shopping and restaurants. My apartment was very spacious and the price was reasonable. The rooms in the Apart Hotel need a renovation, they are showing their age.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They arranged an airport pick up and he taxi price could be charged to the room. This is a great feature when you first arrive and have not had the chance to get any local currency. The taxi rate was very favorable when compared to the same service hired at the airport. They also arranged for us to hire a car on an hourly or a daily basis. In Lima this is better than renting a car. We rented a two bedroom suite that had a kitchen, and sitting room and they had air conditioning. The hotel is located about three blocks from Kennedy Park. The rates include a great breakfast. The room had no view, but otherwise it wise pretty quiet.

Location is excellent. Hotel facilities, except internet, are good. A truly terrible hotel. I regularly stay in Lima hotels & will certainly never return to this one. The hotel facilities are fair enough. The staff are pleasant, but completely incompetent. Checkin took over 20 minutes & I was the only guest in the lobby. I was eventually shown to my room & the bagboy waited for his 5 Soles tip. 15 minutes later having unpacked a maintenance man walked into my hotel room without knocking. It was to advise that I had been shown to the wrong room & I was to be moved. I repacked & waited 15 minutes for the original bagboy to re- materialise to ferry me to the next room. Once in the second room the bagboy had the cheek to wait for another tip. On returning to the hotel after work the receptionist could not find my key. I was eventually let into my room by a maid. The next day I was advised that they had searched “everywhere & did I ‘really’ remember dropping the key off”. My room number was 1303. I noted that there were two keys in the 1304 pigeon hole. Sure enough it was the key that the receptionist had looked “everywhere” for & was insinuating I had lost. There is no Wi-Fi as advertised. Pure lies. There is hard wire internet but this failed for over 50% of my stay. Check out took 45 minutes because they could not find my paperwork. Again, I was the only guest in the lobby. The receptionist couldn’t cancel the pre authorisation on my credit card. BTW, do not pay with a credit card. The hotel will not charge Dollars – they charge in Soles. The exchange rate is pure robbery increasing the bill by 10%. Ensure you have Dollars in cash.

Very nice location for shopping and casino visit. A real supermarket almost directly across the street, for those who wanted to cook/eat in or just pick up snacks. Several adequate restaurants within a block or three. Allow 45 minutes to the airport, although this says more about Lima's chaotic traffic and the hotel's downtown location than about the hotel itself.

I feel so comfortable and safe there. I was last year with my husband, and he enjoyed.the food, service, ambiance, and shopping nearby. It's perfect if you are there to do bussiness, just for luxury or even get to know Lima a little better. This year I returned with my daughter, stayed there a few nights until taking off to Cuzco and made our way back to El Condado for the remaining of our trip. This hotel is very cozy, clean and everyone there will be more than glad to help you out with anything you need. Guests are very welcome here and will even keep your luggage there after check-out so you don't have to be roaming around Lima worrying about it. Definitely coming back next year and every time I come back to Lima.

Food was very good, and service excellent. With no exceptions, staff were friendly and very helpful. I particularly appreciated the help of desk staff in phoning the airport about our lost luggage! Some laundry facilities- ie access to a washer/ drier would have made the stay perfect for us. We are on a month long stay in Peru, and using the hotel as a hub between visits to the rainforest and Cusco, and in a less than 24 hour stopover, couldn´t use the laundry service.

Location Extra fees and charges not reflected on original reservation. A/c did not work. I felt that the room was very overpriced for the quality. I have stayed in much nicer hotels for much less. I would never stay there again. Not to mention there were two different hotels under the same name, on the same street with very different facilities. One of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel.

Moving to the room I should have had on my last night of six nights!!! Not very good!!! Pretty sure I'll never use Booking.com again, the room wasn't the one I booked and paid for. I brought this the the attention of the hotel and had a real battle sorting it out. If the description says you get a balconly, jakuzzi and tea and coffee making facilities I expect to get this! But no, apparently this means nothing, you get what they have available when you check in. Okay, i'll pay $95 for room allocated on arrival rather than paying £130 for a room I thought I was getting. Very poor, and the staff here while nice are typically are inflexible as per a lot of foreign types, no autonomy. I did get 'some' (not a lot) resolution eventually but obiviously they aren't used to dealing with Irish/British types that while willing to pay for what they get won't pay for something they don't get. I don't blame the hotel so much as booking.com - the hotel staff were annoying in telling me what I already knew - like a record, wasted on me though. Hence booking.com scores after this...
