Hotel El DucadoJuan Fanning 337 - Miraflores, Lima 18 Lima (Show map) Review score 6.8 Score from 20 reviews“Located only two blocks from the coast in Miraflores and just minutes from extensive modern shopping facilities and a short walk to native market stores, it was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quite good. The instalations, however were dated and not all light-fixtures worked. In general, the hotel was a bit shabby.

Location is great, it's in between Larcomar (the beach area) and Kennedy Park. This place has potential to be good. Killed at least 3 kind of large spiders in the room. If you have back problems the bed would be good for you since it's very firm (hard). Bathroom didn't have any toilet tissue. Sliding glass door in the bedroom didn't lock so anyone in the people across the courtyard could walk in. Woke up the next morning with my head and shoulders covered with bites, don't know what from but it was at least 40 bites all over. Upon checkout I wanted to pay in cash, local currency but the staff gave me a hard time with it since they wanted American dollars or credit card.

I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. I am fairly tall and the beds could have been a littlel longer.
