Staff were very accommodating, great art, food, and location. My favorite hotel in Cuzco.
From the start we were greeted by every member of staff with such a personable manner! All lovely people. The two owers were especially lovely and cared so much about our experience. They arranged for me to go to the spa and was asked by all how I enjoyed myself on my return. The decor in the fallen angel is fantastic, so unique and interesting! Our room was to die for! A suite including kitchen, gym, fantastic bathroom and giant bed! It was just amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer! The value for money is great! And the restaurant downstairs is also amazing, the food was so good and the bathtub/fish tank tables added to the funky decor!! Thank you again to Carlos and Andreas for such a great stay at the fallen angel!
Nothing at all!!
Friendly staff , amazing food , great location, the best decor
Each room has his own style. You feel more in a art design studio than hotel.
Fantastic bedroom. Very luxurious. We were given a hot water bottle at night. There was a free standing fire in the room which was very romantic at night. The food was some of the nicest we had in cusco. Breakfast was out of this world. There was hot water at all times. The staff held our bags while we went out to trek machu pichu. Really is the best place to stay in cusco.
It can be a bit noisy at night as it is a busy club/restaurant. I really didn't notice it too much.
Crazy funky. Great location right off main square surrounded by 5 star hotels.
Excellent staff and location. Super comfortable room also super cool! Amazing art everywhere.
This tops the list of most interesting and unique places I've stayed in the world, and both of us loved the experience! The staff was welcoming and helpful, and happily arranged for taxis and dinner reservations when we asked. Because there are only a few rooms it's a small place and easy to find someone to help out. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and large, and the day we left at 5 AM for MP they gave us a boxed meal to go. We stayed in the yellow room, and every detail was fantastic - note that the bathroom walls are completely transparent so you might feel uncomfortable if you aren't a couple. The location cannot be beat, it's right off from the main square with easy access to all the main sites, and close to several delicious restaurants. We have also stayed at the Monasterio, which is another luxury hotel that happens to be across the street. While The Monasterio is beautiful and has the 5 star service you'd expect from a Ritz or Hyatt in the USA, the Fallen Angel offers a more unique (but still extremely comfortable) experience. Comparing rooms of similar prices, the Fallen Angel's rooms are more spacious.
We stayed over both the weekend and weekdays. While weekdays were relatively quiet, it was noisy on the weekend - not so much because of the hotel, but because of people/cars in the square the hotel is located in. If you need silence I would suggest not booking the yellow/blue rooms on the weekend since they face the square. During the week, however, it was very quiet.
We had questions about our flight from Cusco to Lima, and the staff was extremely helpful with contacting the airlines for us and resolving our issue.
It was just too weird for us. There was no front desk, so the check in process was somewhat stressful. The rooms were bizarre, to say the least. When we got there, there was music playing loudly in the bar/lounge, and it continued until 10:30 pm, making it difficult to go to sleep. Being in a foreign country is stressful enough, but having the additional stress and confusion caused by the unfamiliar and unconventional features of the hotel was difficult. I guess we were just too old (50's) to be able to appreciate the eclectic environment.
Not REALLY a Hotel. It's a Night Club / Restaurant with four Rooms on the second floor... REALLY funky Rooms. Nice kids running the place. Loud Music until 11:00. Good for a laugh!
The hotel is very unique in its decorations. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was wonderful. The location was very central. It was very easy to get around.
The uniqueness of the decoration is not for everyone. The rooms were not necessarily the most functional.
Its a nice design hotel and very funky. WiFi is up to the speed
A bit too expensive..;) but if budget allow, should try it
