Hatun Quilla has a family/house feel and the owners are especially friendly and helpful. The good facilities are kept very clean. The breakfast is acceptable and served in a pleasant room. The walk back from the centre is uphill and a bit more demanding at altitude than the easy 10 minute walk downhill.

Very nice place and close to the city main square (only a 5minutes walk). The rooms are very good and the staff is very helpful and friendly. They helped us in everything we needed, even took me to the hospital when I had an injury and arranged a tour for us when we asked them to.

The staff at the hotel are just so incredibly warm and nice. In fact I would say that they are the one of the highlights of stay in Cuzco! We were traveling with our baby girl, so they went out to buy a crib for her and lend us their own baby bath tub. When I needed a computer to do some file transfer they offered their own personal laptop. Before we left they even gave our baby a nice little Peruvian doll as a gift...Such a sweet family that I will always remember fondly of! Also, the rooms are impeccably clean and the duvet are very comfortable. The location is quite convenient, walkable to the attractions nearby. The breakfast is quite basic. The water in the shower is comfortably warm but I'd personally prefer it to be a bit hotter.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. For welcome we got a cup of coca tea and could have the room already from 7h in the morning. Also we were able to leave our luggage there while going to Machu Picchu. The rooms are big (we had the "suite") and spacious. Bathroom is ok. 10 min walk to everything you might need. And it is situated in a quieter street, so no street noise. Water was not always hot hot, only warm (think depending on if the gas is on). Room was a little bit too cold, no heater. And for someone with a light sleep, oropax would be needed.

Julio & Yovana were excellent hosts. They made me feel extremely welcome. The room was basic but great for the price. Good hot water. TV good too. Bed was fine also. They arranged washing for about $2 a kilo. Location is about 4 blocks from the plaza, but still very good. I would stay again and recommend it to a budget traveller. Very basic breakfast.

The ambiance is really good. A very friendly family runs this pension. They organise trips for the guests and give good advices. The place is wonderful, mew, well made with cachet. The location is perfect, very quiet and not far from the "Plaza de Armas". Really a good place to stay !!

We were given a warm and friendly welcome and a cup of Coca Tea by the owners Julio and Joanna , just one of many nice touches. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and we had clean bedding and towels daily. The bed was lovely and comfortable and hotel was peaceful with no street noise whatsoever. There is a same day laundry service for a small fee. Continental breakfast was included. It's an ideal base for exploring Cusco - a short walk from the main plazas and market
