The rooms were very clean and the bedding is nice. Staff don't speak a lot of english but are helpful. The breakfast is OK but you have to pay extra for egg. Shower was always hot. We did two treks from Cusco, always returning to the same hotel and our bags were stored safely at no cost.

The entire hotel was so cold sometimes it felt like it was colder inside than out. We were OK with double blankets, but no heaters were offered to us.

-quiet -clean -includes heater -good hot water -breakfast room has a great view

-a bit of noise during the day from some construction (but that shouldn't last long)

Cleaning, TV with lot of channels (globo internacional), hotel employees are very kindly and available. Rooms on the last floor are better (the stairs inside will be nothing compared to the ones outside)

To arrive at the hotel, after a climbing you still have to rise more 121 steps (we counted). Little hard. There is a building aside the hotel - so you don't need alarm clock unless you want to wake up before 6 am. Wifi works sometimes.

Comfortable and large rooms, friendly staff, stunning view from terrace, fast and excellent laundry service, portable heaters available in winter, hairdryer available at front desk.

Tiring climb back to hostel from main attractions, but steep streets are hard to avoid in Cusco.

Clean, comfortable room. Electric space heater available on request. Free pick-up from bus station on arrival. Short walk to Plaza des Armas. Great views of the city and skyline. Rooftop terrace. Simple breakfast.

Rooms and bathrooms are very small. Steep hill with many steps to reach the Hostal from the downtown so don't stay here unless you have (1) acclimatized to the altitude and (2) have strong legs!

Great view of city from up on the hill. Staff were very friendly and helpful despite limited English. Quiet. Clean and welcoming.

Alley-way to main entrance was dirty and dark.

Super friendly staff, good breakfast. Beautiful view from terrace of the hotel.

Tiny room. You can hear every noise in the hotel - breakfast prep, cleaning, guests leaving. A very steep climb back to the hotel.

Nice views from the patio on the roof. We left a favourite t-shirt behind and they had held on to it for us so we got it back. Staff were helpful and gave us free coca tea as we were both ill with altitude sickness.

120 steps up there when you aren't used to the altitude can be a chore. The rooms were freezing we had to sleep fully clothed. Also they put as down as a no show despite the fact that we stayed there as planned/booked.

Great views of Cusco, hot showers, comfy beds and nice breakfast.

The rooms are cold (but there are duvets & blankets) and noisy (especially in the mornings and evenings). Breakfast is quite early 6-9 but don't worry about missing it as they wake you up for it even if you don't want to be woken up. When paying in Soles the hotel rate is higher than the official rate and the rates of the other hostels we stayed in Peru.

Very friendly and polite staff. I felt treated as a friend. They helped me in many situation e.g. to find the post office, they organized a taxi for me, they stored my belongings during my hiking trip… The breakfast is delicious and the view about the city is amazing in the night time as well as in the day time. The room was clean and the bed was furnished with a very comfortable mattress. I really felt home. Thank you so much!!!

The hotel location has excellent views. There is hot showers. The staff are very helpful. We had a bus pick up the next evening at 10pm. They stored our luggage and allowed us to sit in the foyer and use the wifi.

Okay location, relatively close to the Plaza de Armas, but far enough away to be closer to cheaper restaurants. Wi-Fi is fantastic throughout the hotel. The staff are very helpful, and will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

Showers take a long time to warm up, and don't stay hot for long. The breakfast, while good, ends pretty early in the day, and so if you aren't up early, you completely miss out.

The staff were magnificent. We were there during the strike and they couldn't have been more helpful, including Vicky their local tour agent. The location is very good for exploring the historical center. The terrace has wonderful views over the city as well as up to the Inca ruins and Christ statue.

It was a bit noisy. Sound echoed up the open stairwell.

Room was quite small. Cusco is a bit cold. I wish they had atleast a space heater.

That we are no longer staying there.

The description of this Hostal on this website is not at all accurate. Firstly, the showers have no pressure. The buffet breakfast consisted of 3 tiny bits of stale bread each which we ate as the crazy breakfast lady circled us and accused us of stealing. When we told other staff of this they responded rudely and aggressively towards us. Do not stay here!

Reasonable price and the owners are nice. Free pick up at airport, however the one who picked us up was a tour agent that tried to sell us package to Machu Pichu and other places around cusco. I mean it is pricier than others so we didn't buy them(well, I felt bad a bit coz she was so nice)

the owner can speak some english but others don't. When we got back to get our luggages and going to Puno by bus. only one at reception was a girl that tried to call taxi to bus station for us that cost 25 soles despite the normal price is 6 soles!!! Do not get con guys!!!
