I picked this hostal because it had two bedrooms, one was a loft with two single beds, the other on the main floor with one double bed. It was perfect for our family, to give us a bit of space since usually we all stayed in one room. The beds were comfy and the wooden staircase to the loft was charming.
The breakfast wasn't great; we got one cold scrambled egg and that was only after we asked several times. The bread and jam were okay.
Really nice room for 5 people. Fairly good location to Central Cuzco. Decent breakfast. We had a three bed room with a loft and dining area with kitchen. The hostal had a beautiful courtyard.
We were on the street side of the hostal and all night long cars rumbling down the street were quite loud. Every 30 seconds another car. Was difficult for a light sleeper. The rest of the family slept well.
The decoration, and design.
Breakfast its veeery poor they could even charge it separetly but you dont have option and because you travel all day this its a very bad mark. BAD BAD They only accept cash this made my stance 10% more expensive due to bancomat comissions and the problem to find bancomats and carry on cash.. perhaps by doing so they dont pay taxes, leaving the country with lots of poverty problems.....
Staff were kind and helpful
Noisy from the corridor. Staff suddenly opened the my room door by spear key at arly morning. He saied "misstake" ... Staff have to do make sure before open the door by knock for castemer.
Great location, cozy, inexpensive, and about ten minutes from downtown. They picked us up from the airport too.
Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything around you, even in neighboring buildings.
Portable heater in each room made so much noise that no one could sleep. We left after one night.
Spacious room. Retro deco. Nice courtyard
Toilet blocked on first day. Got fixed next day and no problem since
Very spare accommodations. Staff and location were perfect. Staff was very accommodating. Good value for the money.
nice room, clean and friendly staff.
We were cold even though we got a heater it was not enough. Visited in June.
Its conveniently located to the main plaza. There is a lovely courtyard area for sitting, relaxing, reading, etc
Over the course of 2 weeks I stayed in 3 different rooms (was coming & going). First room was large & had a nice view but the bathroom had a sewer smell & the shower had very poor pressure. Second room was great, third room was next to kitchen so was being woken up 5 am by kitchen staff preparing breakfast.
good location great breakfast
bathroom smelled like sewage no heat
Hot water was a little inconsistent
Room on second floor was much better on our return trip from Macchu Picchu - great beds, water pressure and hot water fabulous Beds and pillows very comfortable Breakfast was good - lovely serving staff Lovely courtyard patio to relax Very helpful to store larger bags/ suitcases while off on excursions Good value The gentleman who picked us up from the bus station was lovely - perhaps the owner?
Room on ground floor was not up to par - lots of bugs, water laying on inside window ledges, didn't feel very secure Staff at front desk were inconsistent dependent on time of day - daytime were terrific, some in the evening were not Our two experiences staying here (three days apart ) were very different - would have ranked much higher otherwise
Staff were very nice and helpful..
Breakfast is so so...
Reliable transfer from the airport and arranged tours ahead of our visit. Reasonable breakfast included.
Ok accommodation but be aware - no fridge, tea/coffee facilities. No hot water to sink for shaving. One of the kids beds was collapsed on one side. When our driver failed to collect us as arranged enroute back from Machu Picchu, the hostel owner blamed everyone except their own confirmed arrangements. A simple apology to accompany the explanation would have been much more preferred.
The staff is amazing. He's really doing his job and helped us to find a good place to visit in the city
I like the location, its near to the major tourist spots. I like the room, its spacious, clean, cozy and well-designed (combination of modern and spanish designs). I like their breakfast and the facilities as well. Rooms are also equipped with high network connectivity. Staff are friendly and helpful too.
I cant find anything to dislike in this accomodation. Its a perfect place to stay in Cusco.
Room is clean and the breakfast was nice. Staff are very helpful
I hope that I can access wifi in the room not just the public area :)
Love the garden. The hotel is beautiful and very quiet.
We love coffee and we love breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast was lacking and the coffee wasn't great. We've had much better breakfast in other places.
Helpful staff. Wifi router was outside our room so great signal. Pretty patio to relax in, peaceful not a party hostel if you're looking for one. Nice clean room and bathroom.
The rooms were cold in the night, but there was a plug in heater in the room and was fine with the sheets in bed.
