the checkout time is a bit too early
fantastic! great breakfast. room was very clean and spacious. good wifi

The staff were especially helpful, calling a cab at the right time for us to be at the bus station, allowing us to "hang"in the lobby. We had a boat tour that returned at 4:00 and they let us store our luggage all day, then sit in the spacious lobby while we waited to leave for the bus station.Very good location.

Manager in breakfast room was officious and rude. Then he was in evening dining area on last night when rain kept me inside. Service was dreadful. Could this have been deliberate why? Beats me
Reception staff were fantastic. Warm and enthusiastic, they were always ready to help.
April 9, 2015
Annoying noise in bedroom, probably from fridge or freezer, that kept starting and stopping all night.
Location right in centre of Puno Plenty of choice at breakfast

Staff appear a little unhelpful for a hotel of this quality/price.
A high quality hotel but at a price, I don't think the service was any better than cheaper hotels during my stay in Peru but the breakfast buffet was certainly the best I saw during my Peruvian tour. I wanted to book an extra night, I was told to do it through booking.com and I think this was the staff being lazy. If you're on a budget I would choose a different hotel but if the price is right this hotel is centrally located and the facilities are top notch.

I asked to have my passport placed in the safe for the night that I was gone, but it was found in an unlocked drawer when I asked for it. I was not given the wake up call that I requested.
The hotel is very close to the main plaza and a "tourist" strip containing many restaurants with good value meals. The room for my first night was huge and clean, while a different room given to me when I returned from Lake Titicaca was much smaller and a little dingy. They stored my bag without question when I left for one night.

The street below was very noisy.
Good location for accessing puno. breakfast was fantastic and staff very pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have a relaxing bath and room had a heater.
March 31, 2015
OMG, what a noise from the street! there is no isolation on the window,if you want to sleep bring earplugs or something, the noise is really bad!
the staff helped us out from the troubled situation regarding the agricultural strike,a big thanx, otherwise we would be in a veeery big trouble.

The bath tube plug wouldn't hold the water and the wi-fi connection wasn't great in the room
The bed was comfortable, the hotel was charming, good value for money and the food in the restaurant was a treat

I asked to have my passport stored in the safe for the night that I went to Amantani Island and it was left in a drawer. They forgot to give me a wake up call on my second morning.
The staff was friendly. Plenty of hot water, good WiFi. Very close to restaurants.

Our room looked different (much worse) than in photos - there was no window so we fell like in a cage.
Good breakfast and nice staff

Annoying noise all night from fridge or freezer in kitchen above Room 504
Good TV Breakfast

One of the staff members
The was clean, the room spacious and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there was hot water both in the shower and sink.
March 4, 2015
As often only a window to a dark, tiny yard. The worse thing was that there was a machine next to the room working the whole night long. Internet did not function in the room. So: take care with special offers. It seems that they give uncomfortable rooms!
Furniture was of higher quality than normal standard in Peru; with bath-tube

The hotel itself, while conveniently located a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, can also be loud late into the evening, especially if staying on one of the lower floors.
The rooms are spacious, the wifi reliable (in the Reception area anyway), and the breakfast buffet, which is included in the room price, was by far the most comprehensive of those provided by any hotel during our stay in Peru.
March 2, 2015
The rooms could use some updating
The breakfast was the best on our 40 day trip. The hotel is a block off the plaza. The decor and layout is outstanding. You can see Titicaca from the 6th floor dining room. The spiral wooden stairs are beautifully dizzy...and the elevator worked. The price offered by Bookings was half the walk in price and made for an extreme deal.

-our room had windows only to the hallway
-good location -friendly staff -very clean -good breakfast
March 1, 2015
Great buffet breakfast! Modern, clean and comfortable.
February 28, 2015
Lots of noise from the street, but there's not much they can do about this.
Good-sized rooms and bathroom with a bath - what luxury! Nice breakfast too.
February 28, 2015
Wifi is not good.
February 16, 2015
Could use some new towels and shower curtain, but this did not affect our satisfaction with our stay. A little noisy from the street, but that's to be expected.
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location close to the plaza. Very clean room, HOT water! Space heater, but didn't need it.
February 15, 2015
I didnt like the city, puno will make you hate peru and i recommend nobody to make a stop there. It s chaos there and as soon as you arrive the first thing you wanna do is leave.
It is a very good hotel compared to the peruvian standards. But the noise is awful, most of the rooms have the view over the streets if not all, and you should be prepared not to sleep at all. There is traffic all night long and cars are very noisy. The last night we ve spent there was worst than ever and a lot of people complaigned about the noise.
February 13, 2015
- disappointing room (small, ugly decoration) - sat-receiver was not set up (had to search for channels before it could be used) - very short beds - heavy blankets (3 of them) - there was a smell of gas in the room and in the corridor
- english speaking reception - beautiful lobby and staircase - safe - really good breakfast buffet (wide selection) - good location
February 10, 2015
The vacuuming and hammering loudly inside the hotel from around 7am.
The restaurant was good and the staff were helpful.
