Decoration , quality of bed and furniture
The two floors with no real space for suitcases and the fact that the bathroom is on 1st floor and bedroom is on the 2nd
We booked this hotel following a truck on the Inca Trail. They were happy to keep our bags for us while we are on the truck. The rum, number nine, was spacious and included a full kitchen. There were five beds in the room and I could easily accommodate the family or two couples. The breakfast was good and was included. The hotel is located in a nice area with restaurants nearby.
It is worth noting that you have to walk a couple blocks uphill from the nearest Road to get to the hotel.
Location. Facilities. Price.
Breakfast could be improved - each morning the tables in the room were dirty and most food had gone.
The bedroom is too bright, possible to sleep after sunrise. We stayed at a room beside We stayed in a room next to the reception wich was very noisy.
\nice view of the city
The room was very vice and very clean. The bathroom was very nice and loved the tiling in the shower. Had hot water everyday with no issues. The wifi is a bit slow but gets the job done.
I don't have any complaints other than the hotel is on a hill and you have to do quite a bit of climbing to get there. Other than that it's a great place to stay.
The staff were quick to resolve
No hot water when we returned from the INCA trail
The staff were extremely helpful in storing our luggage when we went off on our trek. The box lunch was a kind thought. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel also provided us with a taxi when we first arrived - this was greatly appreciated!
The breakfast! There was no cold milk for cereal, no real coffee options other than instant and limited choice to put on the not-very-good bread. We went out and found breakfast elsewhere on 2 out of the 4 mornings we were there.
My room was super comfortable, relaxing, the view of Cusco amazing and the breakfast was amazing!
The one thing we didn't like was that the Suite was a 3 floor unit and one bathroom and was on the first floor being tired from all the touring going up and down the stairs was for the use of the bathroom was annoying!
View of Cusco
Not enough light in the room
The rooms were large and the kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed the view from the breakfast room as well as the variety at breakfast itself. Laundry service was efficient and not too expensive. A similar good view could be seen from the balcony near to room 9.Staff were helpful in giving advice and also offered oxygen to my wife on arrival following the walk from the taxi (about 150 metres). They arranged a taxi for our departure as well as looking after our luggage on the day of departure.
To enter at any time of day or night you needed to ring a bell for the door to be opened. Whilst aware the hotel does not have a road where taxis can pull up, be warned it is approximately 150 metres up a mixture of sloping pavement and about 27 steps from San Blas Plaza. Unless you are fit and travelling with little luggage you could find yourself not wanting to leave the property as even the nearest restaurants involve going down 12 steps as well as walking along sloping pavements.
Excellent staff, large clean rooms. Location quite close to all the major attractions in old town centre.Breakfast was very good, buffet style with eggs included.Dining room has magnificent view of Cusco. Would recommend this hotel to others.
Located in San Blass historical neighbourhood. Quiet, but close to key sightseeing locations and restaurants, comfortable rooms, great views and friendly, helpful staff. Very enjoyable stay.
We advised the hotel the time of our flight and they sent a driver for free pickup which was great. Staff member was welcoming and informative and provided coca tea on arrival. Room was large and spacious. 10 minute walk to the centre of town. Good wifi. Would definitely recommend staying here while in Cusco.
Nice modern, well-equipped apartment. good breakfast with a view over the whole Cusco city. Staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to arrange how to buy our ticket to the Machu Picchu.
Our room only had a view to the inner court yard. The shower could have been warmer (but it was sufficient if you don't like it too hot).
Great 1st night in Cusco. We rested up here after a few days in the Sacred Vallye and before heading out to do the Salkantay Trek. San Blas is a great neighborhood and this is a nice little place. Great view from the courtyard.
Can't say anything bad about La Morada.
Breakfasts were good
No views from the room. We stayed there on 3 separate occasions on our trip. Each time I asked for a room with a view and each time we were refused. My wife and I travelled with a group so I'm sure management thought we couldn't leave anyway, so we were not important. I would never stay there again.
Lovely hotel up a few walkable streets in San Blas. Minutes to San Blas Square and two nice restaurants Pachapapa and Green Point. Close to Qorikancha and an easy walk downhill along Ave Sol to the Handicraft Market. Uphill is a little more challenging. Front desk staff were memorable for their helpfulness. Great WiFi, medium breakfast, great city view, takes a while to get lukewarm water in the shower.
ten minutes to get hot water
Comfort, modern and cozy. Staff very welcoming and helpfull. Great bed, linens and shower. Located up the hill so great views and calm not like noisy and dark hotels in the city center. You must be able to walk stairs up the hill but you in 10 min you are in Plaza de Armas.
Rooms have no blinds so the light wakes you up at 6am. Good quality breakfast products but not much variety.
Excellent suite layout with great amenities. The staff at the front desk were great. They were able to assist us with our many questions and helped us store our luggage for multiple days. They packed a bagged lunch the morning of our hike departure. Would definitely recommend this place.
Beautiful hotel, but note when booking that there are a lot of steps to get to this hotel. Maybe add one more lounging chair in the living room of suite #4.
We have been to this hotel 3 times in 3 weeks and on each occasion we asked for a view and on each occasion we were refused. Room 2 is dark and dingy and is overlooked by a number of the rooms, so there is no privacy. Unless you are assured of a room with a view, don't stay here!
Views from the terrace and cafe was nice.
No hot shower. Location is not accessible by small car/ taxi.
Everything was really nice, the room was comfy, clean and quiet; the staff was friendly and helpful!
The walk up to San Blas can be exhausting due to the altitude..
1 The manager was very attentive, spoke excellent English and even mailed my postcards for me 2 There was a nice kichenette inside of the room 3 Good television and wi-fi 4 two space heaters to help with the cold
1 Very noisy - so much so that it would sound like people were walking in my room 2 Setup like a duplex with the beds upstairs and bathroom downstairs 3 Location is farther away from the town center than others, and located at the top of very steep hills. The taxi drivers have to carry your luggage b/c they can only drive so far toward the hotel
The accommodations, the staff, the cost where all great.
