The location is excellent right on the Plaza del Armas. Nice pool, nice bar, good breakfast, the reception staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little tired, the breakfast staff are miserable, the foyer lounge lacks atmosphere.

The Hotel Libertador is very well situated on the Main Square with easy access around the city.. the buffet breakfast is excellent with fresh local fruit, freshly baked bread and delicious omelettes made to order, excellent value for money..

The hotel was centrally located in Trujillo. The bar and restaurant staff were polite although at times inattentive. It was handy for visiting temples and palaces of the Moche and Chimu people. Also close to Huanchaco beach. Rooms at the front of the hotel can be a bit noisy as the Plaza is a central meeting place.

Quietness of room. We also loved their breakfast with different choices of tropical fruits and juices. The hotel is too pricey for what they offer and the mattress was too hard for my taste. Too bad it's the best hotel in Trujillo.

Lovely location, pool and garden... Beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was luxurious with its nice linens. Perfect location. I only wish we had more time to spend there!

El ambiente colonial y la alta calidad de su restaurante El wifi deja mucho que desear con una cobertura muy escasa en las habitaciones que impide trabajar en ellas. Sólo funciona en el lobby.

L'accueil de la réception - le service des portiers et des chauffeurs - le style de l'hôtel, son architecture, sa propreté - la proximité du centre-ville - tout fonctionne parfaitement - la qualité et la variété du petit-déjeuner - la recherche gastronomique Le restaurant est pratiquement vide le soir et, malgré la recherche gastronomique, j'y ai même mangé une fois tout seul - de plus ce qui est affiché sur le menu et la carte des vins n'est pas toujours disponible et le personnel du restaurant n'est pas à la même hauteur que celui du reste de l'hôtel
