Good location. Short walk to main plaza but not right on top of it. Pretty courtyard, more character than modern hotels. Helpful staff, particularly Roxi alwayslovely smile. Flexible with early breakfast as we had to leave early for Inca trail.
Possibly should by apparent incident when our son left his phone charging while we were out. Came back to find photos been deleted, and weird video on the room floor been taken, time stamp suggest while we were out. Hopefully isolated incident.
The Llipimpac is a wonderful quaint place to stay a short walk from the historic center of town. Breakfast is fresh and plentiful, the staff friendly and helpful, and the rooms comfortable and clean. We booked the loft room and the kids loved it. Also had no problems leaving our luggage while we hiked up to Machu Picchu.
We were charged 5% more for using a credit card.
The building was beautiful. Location was pretty good among old cobbled streets of cusco. Rooms were clean and comfy Nowhere to make coffee or tea in your room- that's a requirement for our family For a great hotel stay.
The paid pick up service from airport included a very pushy woman who was determined to sell us a tourist trip and even after saying no half a dozen times she kept pushing. She needs to respect no thanks means no. In general although staff at the hotel were helpful they were not the slightest bit friendly and attitude was almost described as rude.
Clean room, good breakfast, very helpful & nice staffs. Good location to go downtown. Etc .... everything was perfect!
comfy rooms and good facilities. The breakfast was good and they organised for us to have breakfast at 6 am the morning we were leaving early for trekking
need to ring the buzzer to gain entry every time to the compound
Stepping into the Llipimpac is a truly wonderful experience. The artistry in design and architecture is well worth the price. The staff are friendly and the rooms clean and very comfortable, and breakfast is a veritable feast. Also, we were able to leave our luggage while hiking the Inca Trail.
We were charged an extra 5% for using our Visa card.
A lovely place with gardens. If you've ever been to Cusco you will know how busy and noisy it can be - but this location is wonderfully quiet and peaceful yet very close to everything. The staff were great and even arranged to send our luggage on by taxi to our next location while were were visiting Machu Picchu. The bed was sooooo comfortable!
Rooms were clean, good size, quiet enough during the day, and well appointed and nicely decorated. A little hard to find since you have to go through 2 courtyards and a locked gate to get there, but it felt relatively safe (not as great as more contained hotels in big buildings, but not bad). Breakfast was like most hotels and good enough, nice sitting area. It was a decent location for getting to all the central areas. Overall it was ok value for the money. Good for budget traveling. We only stayed one night.
We were leading a group of 14 people to Peru. Check-in took a very long time for our group (nearly 45 minutes, so our group had to just sit in the garden and wait - and we were all exhausted after a long day of travel). Only a housekeeper type person was there when we arrived and they had to call the manager or owner to come (even though we had confirmed the time of our arrival several times before with them). Check-in then took a while to get everyone sorted and rooms worked out. At night, there was a lot of noise from a club (music) - but to be expected in Cusco during peak season. Overall this hotel took the longest for check-in and was more disorganized than the other 6 hotels we stayed at during our stay. If you only had 1 or 2 people, perhaps this wouldn't be an issue.
Great stay, amazing staff! Couldn't have asked for a better reception! The hotel is very charming, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast is delicious! But the main highlight was the saff, I want to give a special thank you to Idea and Janina. Very friendly and thoughtful! Thanks for making this stay memorial!
Very helpful, nice breakfast, very accommodating and flexible. Excellent service!!
One of the rooms was recently painted and the smell was terrible during the night!
In large family room lumpy double bed and floor board to upper room loose Verandah floor boards loose and dangerous Rm 12 Rm 6 triple excellent Stayed twice for 3 days at atime
Great quiet location but close to shopping, restaurants and sights. Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms
Some language difficulties Did not accept our American dollars because they were crumpled. They charge extra for credit cars
Really nice rooms , great building. , excellent breakfast
Breakfast was delicious and fast. The room was warm.
Reception staff could improve their English language skills - but we got by.
Location in very much in the middle of Cuzco. But still they have parking availibility and safe (behind a gate). Big and clean rooms! Silent and romantic place in a busy city! Nice fresh fruits served for breakfast. Recommendation for sure!
Staff not speaking very good english, but good enough to make ourselves comfortabele.
The pillows in the beds
Price, location, friendlyness of staff
It's a bit confusing to find the place
Very clean. Awesome location. More like a 3-star hotel than a hostel. Endless hot water. Comfy beds. Cozy rooms with TVs and DVD players. Lots of outlets to charge electronics. In-room heaters. Fabulous location.
Breakfast is the same as every hostel in South America: coffee, tea, day old bread, jam, fruit with yogurt, eggs.
The staff was phenomenal. Perpetually helpful, gracious, elegant, accommodating and warm. The room was beautiful and spotless, breakfast was perfect. We were grateful to have found this lovely hideaway in busy Cusco! Highly recommended.
Nice room decor. Good space. Good breakfast.
The toilet sink has got a bit of molds on it, the cleaners could do a bit better job in cleaning properly.
Excellent location, and great value for money. Breakfast was amazing!
The heater didn't work properly so it was very cold at night. The rooms were not sound proof, so we could hear all the other rooms footsteps and parts of conversations.
breakfast and politeness of the service
noisy rooms with very thin walls
Nice garden and traditional decoration
No hot water, after complaining for the cold water they told me that fixed it but never hot water came up. I cancelled second night there. Very poor breakfast and you have to wait continually for everything there. You have to ring the bell and wait somebody to open the door, difficult to find even with a taxi!
We really recommend this hotel! It was conveniently located, cosy and exhibited a really homely environment
