Score from 340 reviews Very good
Perfect location, comfortable beds, excellent breakfast (I fell in love with fresh juice prepared by old lady at 4 am!!!), perfect water preasure, hot water, super kind staff.
Very simple and old bathroom + toilet (for backpackers is it enough), lack of space - very small room without closet with hangers for our jackets, hostel is situated on the busy street, but only one minute from buses going up to Machu Picchu.
Brilliant location- right in the centre of everything. Festivals, fireworks, dancing, sightseeing, cafes, restaurants, shopping: right on your doorstep ! Charming, helpful staff. Great modern bathrooms with excellent showers
Close proximety to 'Starbucks' sometimes caused unwanted noise, as did the Backpackers' hostel overhead, particularly in the mornings.
Location Excellent staff Good wifi
Room very noisy Breakfast, needs more fruit
Cute hotel in an old house. Staff very friendly.
Wifi was very patchy - annoying when trying to book flights etc! Could be a bit more generous with the fruit for breakfast...one tiny pate of assorted slices that was barely enough for one person....other hotels dish up large bowls of various chopped up fruit. Room quite cold but there was a heater that I left on all night.
Location Friendly staff large room balcony overlooking a cusco alley windows that open large bathroom
Room seemed a little dingy for the price. Wi-fi was on again off again Hard to sleep at night due to the noise of Cusco, but that comes with the excellent plaza location so is a trade off. The price is a little high for what it is.
Room very small, a lot of noises from outside and above, the rate on credit card is very high comparing to banks, too much expensive
Location! Right nexr to central plaza, with a lot of restaurants, cafes, etc.
The rooms are small, not a lot of space to put our luggage. Just a small window at the room and one at the wc, looking at the internal stairs of the hotel, which for obvious reasons had to be closed. Overall, a claustrophobic experience. Breakfast was below average but ok. For what this hotel is offering, the price is ridiculous!
The best aspect of the Loreto Boutique Hotel is the location right off the Plaza de Armas. The staff was friendly but seemed tired and overworked. The room was big and the bedding was comfortable and warm. There is a space heater in the room but it still gets cold at night. We stayed three nights and there was a lot of noise in the street one of the nights which did make it difficult to sleep. Overall the location, cleanliness, and friendliness of the staff make it worth it to stay!
Helpful staff. Good location.
Too creaky floors and noise from other guests.
Staff very friendly Location is great Tour booking to Machu Picchu was perfect
It is no "Hotel" -it is a "HoStel" Our first room was full of mold and it was a 4-bedroom, very cold. Our second room was nearly clean but noisy Too expensive for a hostel Other tours didn't work - but we got it cheaper then Heating exists when you get one at the reception, no one is in the room
Cold water, lack of water, wi-fi really shaky
Water cold, lack of water, noisy
So close to the main square.
Very noisy, a little expensive in comparison to other accommodation in this town.
The hotel was located literally 15 feet from the main square. The staff at the desk provided excellent service. Breakfast was good and they provided hot water for tea all the time. The room was roomy and the accommodations nice.
Everything was good!
Amazing location right on the Plaza de Armas, makes for easy wandering through the city. Amazing pancakes made-to-order at breakfast; make sure you save plenty of room. We were able to store some luggage at the hotel during our hike to Machu Picchu, and the front desk was nice enough to hold on to a charger that I left behind at the hotel for me.
The room was really nice, great location, bathroom clean and water hot. Receptionist didn't speak much English but was warm and helpful
Room was slightly damp, but only very slightly.
You can't beat the location, right on the main square. The staff was amazing! So nice and helpful. Angela went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, Julia's pancakes are a must try! You won't be disappointed in this hotel.
Good location (was not noisy otherwise nearby Plaza de Armas) and very nice hospitality! We were totally satisfied with services.
The location next to the Plaza couldn't be better! Some of the rooms have an Inca stone wall. Loved the authenticity. The breakfast was great- omelets with smiley faces, fresh squeezed juices, fresh fruit. Henry was very helpful recommending restaurants, taxis, money exchange places and sights.
The main level room was a little noisy with people coming back at all hours of the night making noise. Other than that no complaints.
Staff was great, helpful. Location was great. Checking in and out was very easy.
The noise at night as the room was just beside the pavement.
Friendly staff-excellent location-great food-brought Cusco history to life.
All staff were very helpful and kind. Fab location!
Being woken up by church bells at 4.30am every day.... Breakfast is little bit limited.
Location and facilities
The location is great. The breakfast is really good. The staff is professional and gentle.
The hostel is EXTREMELY noise, no matter which room you get, theres nois from people talking, walking in the hostel ahove. from the kitchen and from people goign to starbucks right next door. You will only sleep between 12pm and 6am. Also when I arrived I got a different room than what was announced and what I reserved. Spoke with the manager and he said that I was already paiyng a "promotional price" and shouldnt expect too mutch. Well after a little talk they realized I was right. After all I had to sleep one night in this room, and they changed me next day for the correct room.
