Location is perfect, only 3 minutes walk from the main square. Basic hostel, but perfect for us.
This is a great hostel in a wonderful location. So close to the gorgeous Plaza de Armas. Our double room was enormous with a big window to look down to the square. For a quieter place where you get great value for money, don't look any further from here
Great location, just near Plaza de Armas. Large rooms. Great communal area.
A communal area is great and comfy, but people smoke there. Wifi didn't work fine inside our room.
very friendly and helpful English and Spanish speaking staff, very clean rooms with hot water, great (american) buffet breakfast, kitchen to cook on your own, great location, very close to the Plaza de Armas, felt secure.
Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Location was great with a beautiful roof terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas with the volcanoes in the background.
If you are staying a long time you can buy food and cook some meals.
Excellent location, helpful staff, nice breakfast and spacious clean room. Nice warm shower, relaxed atmosphere. We booked a 2-day Colca Canyon tour via the hostel, this was a nice service and the tour was good value for money too.
Location 1\2 block from Plaza de Armas, you can walk everywhere.
Breakfast was quite poor. Room facing street was noisy.
Nice clean and spacy room, good internet access, excelent location
The location is good.
Best hostel we've stayed in in Arequipa and such value for money. The double room was huge and clean. Shower was hot and powerful. They clean the rooms daily and provide toilet paper and towels, not always done in Peruvian hostels. There is a large covered outdoor area for chilling out and a clean kitchen and dining area. The staff were very friendly
Location was very good, breakfast was included and had fresh orange juice and joghurt besides the normal bread coffee and jam. Room was very small, based on pictures we thought to get something better. But we were able to check in early in the morning which was great!!
proximity to main plaza cost many other backpackers and guests to converse with.
some staff have limited english (but enough to communicate)
Great location. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff.
This is more of a bed and breakfast type of place, but I had the dorm all to myself for 5 nights, and it was awesome. The kitchen and patio are huge and plenty of space to just chill. I really enjoyed my stay.
The showers were sometimes cold, especially the one by the dorm room. The wifi would inexplicably turn off, and not sure why. Luckily, Cusco coffee is next door and you can use their wifi.
The Hostel is very well located, near Plaza de Armas. The staff is very kind, especially the lady who makes breakfast. She makes the most delicious orange juice. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bathrooms are always clean. We were also able to book all ou tours with the hostels at a good price.
The Internet connection is bad and sometimes it doesn't work at all.
everything is great. location is amazing, great value for the money
Hot showers in evening, nice and quiet, comfortable rooms, excellent location, room ready when arrived at 6am! V.friendly staff, even at 6am. Luggage storage for when we went on a trek
No towels, hit and miss whether there is any toilet paper.
They gave us our room early in the morning with a free breakfast, which was really kind. It was a good start...
The night staff, he was really unfriendly and rude. Even calling a taxi seems to much for him. Don't do their one day colca canyon tour, it very expensive, and it will only be bus, snapshot, back to bus, then expensive restaurant were my wife managed to get a food poisoning. Brilliant. No wifi in the room even if they say so. You must go to the lobby where its freezing cold. And the Internet connexion was terrible. The breakfast is a mess, you really don't understand what you can or cannot take, so end up with bread and coffee. That's it. The water was hot the first day then luke warm at best the other days. For this price, I would definitely not recommend this hotel.
great location, friendly stuff. big and good public area
Great location and breakfast.
Location of all Triple rooms are not good.
Located in the heart of Arequipa, you can hardly stay any closer to old Arequipa. English speaking staff, helpful, willing to assist. Tracks and tours can be organized through the hostel.
Overall a great place to stay, great location, large and clean rooms, nice shared areas. The staff was extremely nice. We arrived in a early bus to Arequipa, and at the B&B in the middle of the night, we were allowed to rest on the sofa, enter our rooms earlier, and even when we returned, covered in dust from the Colca, to pickup our backpacks, we could use the shared bathrooms for a quick shower. Really loved our stay there !
common spaces are big and beautiful and the kitchen is relly good. and the breackfast is also good: fresh juice, bread, jam, butter, bananas, tea, coffe, milk..and everything in a buffe!
you can find cheeper hostels, but maybe with worst services
Great position right near the plaza. Will arrange taxis for you. Staff very friendly. Luggage storage. At the end of our stay one of us was unwell and they have a great area where you can sit and organise yourself before late buses etc. Nice breakast- real bread rolls!Rooms very spacious
My room had poor water pressure in shower from blocked shower head. other room was fine . Squeeky floorboards.
