Beach and staff.
Rooms were too noisy.
Food was ok. Nice Beach, ok staff.
There were giant bugs in every room. Specially in the evening. A/c wasnt working properly. In the middle of the night the power went off, and they had no generator, therefore it made it impossible to sleep because of the heat. The pool didn't look to clean. There was no Hot water, hence we could only shower with Cold water. In the early morning of the weekend, there were doing some construction in the roof of my building therefore it was loud. The only positive thing about this hotel were the "CHELADAS"... Other then that the rest was not good!! Pictures in the website lie!! Do not go!!!
When I left the hotel
Dirty cups felt unclean no safe in room American breakfast was pathetic never had any decaff anything no sweetners run out of orange juice 1st day and never replaced only pineapple food covered in grease when supposed to be grilled it went on Wi-Fi non existant
We have a car so location was not a problem.....out of the way but perfect for us. Rooms were nice but not fancy with small balcony. Plenty of hot water and beds were comfortable. Secure parking. Very relaxing. Restraunt was good and bar drinks good. Staff was very polite and always smiling. We will defintely stay here again.
This is more of an observation than a complaint. We arrived during the week so we decided that most probably less staff worked Tues until weekend. Everyone was very nice but bar was unattended most of our second day. Other staff would eventually come to help but it would have been nice to have a bartender at bar.
Free wifi, staff was helpful and courteous.
First, the location of the 'resort' is less than ideal, being about 20 ft from the highway, it's really noisy inside the rooms from all the trucks and cars and is impossible to get a good night's sleep. The walls are paper thin and the windows cannot be closed, so there's nothing you can do to mitigate all the noise or privacy issues. The rooms are too small, especially with the toilet being about six feet away from the bed. We also found the septic tank smell from the toilet unbearable. Since there are many cracks and crevices in the walls and doors, the room quickly becomes infested with bugs, mainly mosquitos at night, but I also found a cockroach next to the bed in the side table. The food was pretty lacking and overpriced. In fact, on our last night they served my fiance papa huancaina with a fly in the sauce. Even worse, the owner of the resort was sitting two tables away when it happened and never once apologized or showed any sign of caring. The 'resort' has almost no beach front, and the water is completely filled with rocks, making it dangerous to attempt a swim. Also, contrary to the pictures we saw of the 'resort', during our stay they never once put out the beach chairs so we could use them. There is a pool, but there are so many bees flying around the edges, and at night when lit up, you could see just how dirty the water was (no idea how often they clean it). The 'resort' is still being built and when looking out to the ocean, the view is marred by a half constructed building with re-bar, bricks and bags of concrete. What also takes away from the atmosphere is the tv that's always on in the dining area playing dumb and obnoxious game shows. How about some romantic music instead? The 'resort' is also too far removed from Mancora (an hour away) or any other town worth visiting. We went to Tumbes, which is about 40 minutes away, but believe me when I say it's not tourist friendly.
The 37 inch hd tv in the room was the best part of the room. The food, was actually very good quality, but the pricing was too high. I recommend the Langoustine Risotto.
This hotel totally misleads potential guests regarding it's location on booking.com and other websites. This is because the hotel is located so far out of Zorritos and much farther than the 10 minutes it claims. We arrived at 06:00hrs and despite them knowing our exact arrival time nobody was awake to let us in. Tired and cold from overnight travel we were faced with a request for instant payment, a very cold and sparse room with a toilet which refused to flush and bedsheets which didn't fit the bed. Would never stay here again and would never trust them again after they argued extensively that their map location deception was my fault not there's. I urge booking.com to correct the map location to show this hotels truly inhospitable location and to prevent other potential guests from being deceived with this hotels cheap tricks to get people to stay with them. The hotel is truly in middle of nowhere on a bear and disgarded part of the beach. My advice....look for a hotel actually located in Zorritos, it is a lovely town.
