It's nice big spacious rooms with hot water showers. They have everything in the rooms from knives and forkes to a blender ! Very far out the way but a 2 sol local bus ride to Mira Flores. Sheets smelt a bit funny and beds were hard but I would stay there again

Perfect for an overnight stay between flights. Not far from airport, and hotel arranged transfers ($14 each way). Safe, efficient and reliable. Room was huge - actually like a large studio apartment with kitchen, and lounge, and dining room table. Quiet, comfortable sleep, with breakfast served to room before taxi arrived. Good WiFi; lovely staff. Thanks! No cloths or detergent in kitchen, but possibly because we were only there one night - arrived late, left early.

Always reminded by hotel staff to travel in hotel provided transport which is much more expensive.Security measure/check every where, giving one the impression that Lima is a very unsafe place.

It is close to the airport and lots of places to eat and shop. The free wifi is a bonus - ask for the newer rooms. It is far from downtown and the beach areas.

It is nice the airport, but I had a nice stay in a residential area with a lot of small streets, interesting to walk around as I did many times without any worries. The people are friendly and help with any questions. Rooms are clean and secure. They have internet, cable, equipped kitchenette and appliances. There is a continental breakfast. I went to the local bakeries for breads or fresh juice, very good!! There is a local market, a Metro supermarket, the Lima zoo, the upscale Plaza San Miguel shopping mall and the Indio Craft Markets are all close. It is a great place to stay as a base, as I have done on various trips. The continental breakfast is pretty light, just bread and coffee, holds you over until you eat a real breakfast, or make your own.

It was very pleasant stay in Machu Picchu suites. We went to Peru for Rally Dakar 2013 and we decided to order hotel, which is nearby the start of the rally. We found this, and it was a good choice. Very cal neighborhood where we could park our assistance cars for free – it was favor from the manager of the hotel. There is nice personal – they print the papers for us, wash our clothes, prepare the breakfast and clean the room every day. There is nothing to complain on. We strongly recommend this for everyone, who needs to sleep well, in calm surrounding. When we will have opportunity to come back to Lima, for sure we will stay here again. Nothing special to complain about.

The hostel is in general very nice. There was an electricity shut down in the whole small town when we arrived. But it offered us a great night view of mountains nearby. The staff cannot speak English.

I liked that it was located within a residential area, but just a couple of blocks from the main street, plus, the place was very quiet and the room itself was like a mini apartment, with kitchenette, eating area, bedroom and bath. A continental breakfast was included, delivered to the room, with a little bread bun with either cheese and ham or something else in it, instant coffee or tea, milk (evaporated) for the coffee, and a small glass of juice. There were cups in the kitchen cabinet above the sink. There was also air conditioning and heating in the bedroom. Plus there was cable TV, DVD player, radio, telephone, and a SAFE in the closet. The internet was free, as was wifi. There was also a taxi service, informal, and a bit more expensive, but reliable and with a nice car. The taxi cost me $20 be picked up at the Cruz Del Sur bus station way across town, and $12 to take me to the airport, around the corner, up Ave. Elmer Faucett. While the main street, Ave. La Marina was quite busy, it was not near anything like Miraflores or Centro Historico, but there were a couple of shopping centers nearby, walking distance, plus several eating places, but typical Peruvian fare was not plentiful, just fast food. I did luck out with a chinese chifa south of Ave. Universitaria, on the left side, several blocks down, the food was good, price great, and the appearance was very nice. While the room had a kitchenette, the refigerator didn't work, it just ran and ran all day and didn't cool off at all, but it would have been nice to store food items, plus the gas stove didn't work either, there was plenty of nice cookware, plus utensils, flatware, and table are, but no gas from the looks of it, I could not even boil some water. The microwave did work, thank goodness. The bath appeared clean, but it looked to me that it just got wiped down and no cleanser or bleach water was used, I got some cheap liquid cleaner to wipe out the toilet because it smelled, but looked clean.
