Great experience! The staff and Nancy were absolutely wonderful. We had a great tour of the Cahuachi Pyramid and Nazca lines. Best scrambled eggs for breakfast!
Nancy, Elsa and Karina at Nazca House went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the terrific breakfasts, excellent rooms, to arranging outings to historical sites - nothing is too much trouble. The team was so kind to us I feel like we have now a new family in Nazca.
Lovely hostesses, very clean, great location and great breakfast
Very nice and friendly hostess. She makes you feel at home
many roosters in Nazca; earplugs were provided by the staff, nice gesture
Nancy was really nice. The day after the nigth booked offered as a the before the departure. She make you feel like at home
Some problem with the shower, only cold water.
Location was quiet and close enough to the main square. Friendly family and great food.
Host is very friendly and environment is beautiful.
The van driver who taking us to Nazca flight tour do not tell airplane company that we have to take a bus to Ica . We wait to take a flight for more than 2 hours and finally have no time back to hostel to carry our luggage.Be careful about this.
Lovely staff, clean, comfortable rooms and beds and a complimentary bottle of Pisco
Nancy & her sister where excellent hosts, very helpful, even though we are not Spanish speakers. Breakfast was the best so far in Sth America & have been travelling for some time! Nancy could arrange tours & we enjoyed our pick up on arrival. Location is quiet, there is a rooster in neighbourhood though it did not impede our sleep. On whole great stay, we highly recommend Nasca House!
The room and facilities were of quality but what really made this place stand out was our hosts. Karina emailed me a week before we were to arrive asking if there was anything they could do to help with our trip: transportation, information, tours. In the end we wanted to make a last minute change to our tour and they were perfectly able to help us make that change no problem. They picked us up from the bus depot ( although I don't know how they knew to come we didn't give them our bus time or the bus company - we just said "late"), the breakfast was included and was good, they arranged a Nasca lines flyover for us and arranged a dunbuggy/sandboarding/sightseeing tour for us in the afternoon - both were fantastic. They had great tips for us like avoiding eating before the Nasca lines flight (we were overly confident) and suggesting a late checkout when we changed to the sandboarding tour - knowing we would need a shower after. They do have a menu for lunch and dinner that you can select from too. We did this the night before we left and took our hosts advice to try the spagetti a la huancaina and lomo saltado to eat and chichi morada to drink. So good! I dreamt about that dinner for the next two nights. Very kind and very helpful. They made our stay in Nasca wonderful.
Spotlessly clean, lovely family welcome you into their home and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Excellent breakfast including dairy and gluten free options. Good wifi. Complimentary bottle of Pico wine is a nice touch. Free transport to and from the airport, bus terminal, etc.
The absolute nicest staff. This hostel is more like a hotel. The bed was the best bed we've had (after 30+hostels so far this year?). They picked us up at the bus station, and made us dinner when we got in, even though it was almost 11pm. A bottle of pisco was waiting for us in our room. flat screen tv. the way it's decorated is just above and beyond other hostels. Grade A.
We didn't like leaving.
we liked hotel owners, very friendly and helpful, they cooked breakfast and lunch for us and offered transportation from and to bus statin
neighbors roosters started to make noises very early in the morning
We liked ... - the owners really tried to make you feel home - basic but clean rooms - good price for value - nice breakfast
We didn't like ... - no major flaws - owners don't speak English (if that's a problem) but they put real effort in explaining :)
We could keep the room until 10 pm even if the check out was earlier
Very nice family running the place. However, mother seemed to scowl at us as she passed thru main room on her way to the kitchen.
Clean, but little space in room, bed was as hard as a board. First thing on arrival we had to go out to purchase toilet paper. Lunch was a good value put very disapointing.
Very nice breakfast of Nancy (best chickensalad ever). Good service from Raul at the busstation en airport for the nazca lines.
Very friendly and helpfull staff
Its location, at just two blocks from Plaza de Armas. The healthy and always very filling breakfast offered by Nancy. In general, at Nazca House everybody will make everything possible to help organizing tours, transport, reservations,...
Nothing at all!
The family who run the hotel are simply the most helpful and delightful people in Peru. We had an excellent two days stay.
The owner was really nice. She and all her family that run the business. We didn't know and didn't even tell them what time we were arriving or bus line and somebody from hotel was at the bus station waiting for us. We knew in that moment this place will be something special. And when we got to the house they were waiting for us with a very warm welcome. It was like being at a family's house. Next day the breakfast too was like a family thing. I defenetly will stay here.
We didn't have wi fii in our room. Just downstairs.
The friendliness of the staff and the familiar atmosphere in this house stuck out to us. They are very helpful and care for their guests. They coorperate with a reliable tourguide.
Nancy is the perfect host. Together with her team make nazca house feel like a home away from home!
What a lovely couple to enjoy while traveling in Peru! And a delicious breakfast!
Oh, the roosters, the roosters! I don't know if it's Nazca itself, or just this street, but it was the noisiest rooster night we had on the whole trip (the earplugs - provided- helped!)
