The owner could not have been more helpful during our brief stay. Highly recommended.
a bit far away
Nancy and her hospitality tasty breakfast comfort bed cool room
Everything! from getting picked up at the bus station even tho the bus was 2 hours late, to having a taxi flagged down to get back to the bus station. It was a wonderful experience and sets the bar high for other hotels in Peru.
Owner Nancy is honest and fair in business and always willing to help the visitor to achieve an unique experience in and around Nazca. Rooms are clean and have a typical style and ambiance. Although basic, they are very comfortable. Breakfast is good. Even the noise in the morning is solved with an easy solution ;)
Nazca house came to pick up us at Cruz del sur bus terminal at very late night. They arrange us to take flight to see Nazca lines before breakfast and waited for us to arrange breakfast when we back. Nazca house arranged everything base on our requests! Very warm owner and big living room space.
Our room had no window but others do. I found it a bit stuffy but Nancy gave me another fan which helped. Our bed was a tad too small but this has been the case throughout our stay in South America.
Nancy made this stay for me. She made me feel like it was my home too. She is lovely, couldn't do enough for me and even with the language barriers she did her upmost to help me. Breakfast is beautiful and different daily. Close to Plaza de Armos and local food market. Complimentary pick up and drop off from the bus depot. Highly recommended!!
There was an issue with the hot water, but it was very quickly fixed.
The two sisters running the B&B were very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us to find someone who could drive us to the different sites around Nazca for a good price. And breakfast was ready for us when we returned from the Nazca lines airplane trip! The location was also excellent, just a few minutes walk from the main plaza. The room itself was cozy, clean and quiet with a very comfortable double bed. Check-out time was flexible.
People from the hostel are so friendly and location was better than we expected in terms of cleanliness and comfort. They were very attentive to our needs. Breakfast is delicious and abundant.
Noisy in the morning but that is just how the town is with cock crows and dog barks. Ear plugs were provided which helped a great deal.
Atmosphere Value Breakfast Cleanliness Friendliness of family running Nazca Hotel
Great experience! The staff and Nancy were absolutely wonderful. We had a great tour of the Cahuachi Pyramid and Nazca lines. Best scrambled eggs for breakfast!
Nancy, Elsa and Karina at Nazca House went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. From the terrific breakfasts, excellent rooms, to arranging outings to historical sites - nothing is too much trouble. The team was so kind to us I feel like we have now a new family in Nazca.
Lovely hostesses, very clean, great location and great breakfast
Very nice and friendly hostess. She makes you feel at home
many roosters in Nazca; earplugs were provided by the staff, nice gesture
Some problem with the shower, only cold water.
Nancy was really nice. The day after the nigth booked offered as a the before the departure. She make you feel like at home
Location was quiet and close enough to the main square. Friendly family and great food.
The van driver who taking us to Nazca flight tour do not tell airplane company that we have to take a bus to Ica . We wait to take a flight for more than 2 hours and finally have no time back to hostel to carry our luggage.Be careful about this.
Host is very friendly and environment is beautiful.
Lovely staff, clean, comfortable rooms and beds and a complimentary bottle of Pisco
Nancy & her sister where excellent hosts, very helpful, even though we are not Spanish speakers. Breakfast was the best so far in Sth America & have been travelling for some time! Nancy could arrange tours & we enjoyed our pick up on arrival. Location is quiet, there is a rooster in neighbourhood though it did not impede our sleep. On whole great stay, we highly recommend Nasca House!
The room and facilities were of quality but what really made this place stand out was our hosts. Karina emailed me a week before we were to arrive asking if there was anything they could do to help with our trip: transportation, information, tours. In the end we wanted to make a last minute change to our tour and they were perfectly able to help us make that change no problem. They picked us up from the bus depot ( although I don't know how they knew to come we didn't give them our bus time or the bus company - we just said "late"), the breakfast was included and was good, they arranged a Nasca lines flyover for us and arranged a dunbuggy/sandboarding/sightseeing tour for us in the afternoon - both were fantastic. They had great tips for us like avoiding eating before the Nasca lines flight (we were overly confident) and suggesting a late checkout when we changed to the sandboarding tour - knowing we would need a shower after. They do have a menu for lunch and dinner that you can select from too. We did this the night before we left and took our hosts advice to try the spagetti a la huancaina and lomo saltado to eat and chichi morada to drink. So good! I dreamt about that dinner for the next two nights. Very kind and very helpful. They made our stay in Nasca wonderful.
Spotlessly clean, lovely family welcome you into their home and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Excellent breakfast including dairy and gluten free options. Good wifi. Complimentary bottle of Pico wine is a nice touch. Free transport to and from the airport, bus terminal, etc.
We didn't like leaving.
The absolute nicest staff. This hostel is more like a hotel. The bed was the best bed we've had (after 30+hostels so far this year?). They picked us up at the bus station, and made us dinner when we got in, even though it was almost 11pm. A bottle of pisco was waiting for us in our room. flat screen tv. the way it's decorated is just above and beyond other hostels. Grade A.
neighbors roosters started to make noises very early in the morning
we liked hotel owners, very friendly and helpful, they cooked breakfast and lunch for us and offered transportation from and to bus statin
We didn't like ... - no major flaws - owners don't speak English (if that's a problem) but they put real effort in explaining :)
We liked ... - the owners really tried to make you feel home - basic but clean rooms - good price for value - nice breakfast
