Accommodation is right on the main place. Nearly everything in walking distance. Room was very clean. Breakfast good. Staff friendly.
Sometimes a little bit noisy inside and outside of the Hotel. But with so many people everywhere, noise can not be avoided. Otherwise everything was perfect.
staff are nice and helpful
THE BALCONY after breakfast is a top location to view the plaza.
rooms should have bar refrigerator in all rooms 2 small bottles of water some days only 1 is not enough fluids in the room for the altitude. Breakfast whilst good seemed lacking in that all items consumed were not replenished unless asked.
Location Friendly & helpful staff decent free WiFi speed complimentary water additional heating available
the great location comes with the noise of the square and of the central streets. The double glazing however does an ok job
Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bed is big and comfortable. They got a small balcony outside the room towards the street. I enjoy my stay here very much :)
Not really just a bit noisy but it's fine for me ;)
Location great. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Quiet room with a side view onto the square. Helpful staff.
Showers are excellent, the best I've had during my Bolivia/Peru trip; right in front Plaza de Armas.
Location, helpful reception staff, large, comfortable bed.
location and special attention from the official Fredi
we had some unpleasant problems with the scheduling of taxis and transfers
Right in front of plaza de armas, nice view, great room. We had to leave early and could'nt eat breakfast but they prepared us a lunchobox
This hotel is in a great location right in the square. The staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our suitcases in storage whilst we did a two day tour to Machu Picchu. Breakfast was good.
Wi Fi was very poor.
The location could not be better. The rooms are very clean with good bedding. The staff at reception are friendly and very helpful with good English. On our third visit we were given an upgrade and it was fabulous with a large room and spa bath in the bathroom.
The breakfast is very ordinary and the staff at the breakfast were not particularly helpful or friendly. We stayed here 3 times in 2 weeks (before and after the Inca trail and an Amazon trip) and the first time my adult daughter and I were given a room that was very small with nowhere to put luggage. The shower and toilet were separate behind a door but there was nowhere to get dressed in there and the sink and wardrobe were not closed off from the room. The second time the room was a little bigger.
My one night at Hotel Plaza de Armas was a highlight of my trip across Peru. I was feeling under the weather (that's an understatement) and the early check-in allowed me to spend the better part of the day resting in a comfortable bed and relaxing in a hot shower. When the reception staff heard that I wasn't feeling well they went out of their way to check on me and make sure that I was okay, and housekeeping was especially kind as well. The location is absolutely perfect, and while it's right on the main plaza in the heart of the action, the hotel is quiet and peaceful when you're likely to be sleeping. There was a good breakfast spread in the morning, and the hotel generously stored my luggage after I checked out and spent the day exploring Cusco. If I were returning to the city I wouldn't think of staying elsewhere.
I can't think of a single thing that was not just right about my stay.
The location on Cuzco's central plaza cannot be beat. It has been recently remodeled and modernized.
Location in the middle of all the attractions, staff happy and friendly
We didn't speak a word of Spanish which we thought might be difficult. But all Hotel staff spoke very good English and were the most helpful people you could have asked to stay with. Just some examples my bf came down with a nasty chest infection they helped us cancel a tour we had booked that day and without us even asking
Staff were very helpful. They helped organise our transport and laundry. Stayed twice and they looked after our luggage while we went to Machu Picchu. Convenient location. Free pickup from airport but were given sales pitch for day tours by person meeting us.
Did not seem to have a record of our return booking but still accommodated us. Initially we had a room with no fresh air so we moved to one overlooking the main street which was noisy. They changed the room to a quieter one the following night. Breakfast was not always ready at start of advertised time.
Hotel itself is very nice, clean and comfortable. Location is central
Hotel is at Placa de Armas, which in June is the place for all festivities. It was super loud, music and fireworks until past midnight. Under normal circumstances ir could be great experience, but we were super tired from hiking in Machu Picchu and were hoping for some sleep
Very clean, beds comfortable, bathroom water temperature and pressure excellent...good breakfast that is included in prices...
Staff could not always make recommendations regarding tourist activities...
Great location, it's right by the Plaza de Armas, so you can pretty much walk to everywhere. The staff are excellent. My boyfriend got the mountain sickness and he is allergic to some ingredient, and I couldn't explain to the pharmacy because I don't speak Spanish. The staff patiently helped me out on it!
It could be noisy since it's right by the Plaza, we stayed during the celebration of Cuzco day, the music is blasting until midnight one day…but you can go have a drink and watch on the 2nd floor bar.
staying in the centre of city was a great location
Festival proceedings in the city square were extremely loud the weekend we stayed.
i liked almost everything. The room is very confortable and big. The location could not be better, since it is inside que plaza de armas square. The staff is very kind and helps you all the time you need. The restaurant is very charming as you can drink and eat looking to the square.
i liked everything
Best shower of my trip - better than the 5 star facilities
Proximity to Plaza de Armas during festival meant loud bands at all hours - but worth it for the location
This hotel is perfectly located at the center of all the activity. Fabulous staff, clean comfortable room. Terrific hot shower and delicious daily breakfast. I would definitely return here!
Location was great! Breakfast was awesome!
No view from my room. The wifi worked infrequently despite being advertised that it would be offered. Ended up having to transfer to another hotel in order to work.
