Only 10 metres from the Plaza de Armas, Loreto Boutique Hotel offers rooms with plasma TVs, in a refurbished building originally built during Inca times. The Bus Terminal is 1.3 km away.
Score from 341 reviews Very good
This hotel is next to Cusco´s Main Square, with easy access to many Inca attractions. It features scenic views of the cathedral and rooms with cable TV and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 169 reviews Good
El Virrey is in the heart of Cusco, overlooking the bustling Plaza De Armas. It is 2 miles from Velasco Airport, providing airport shuttle service and welcome drink upon arrival.
Score from 340 reviews Very good
Has a bath tub which makes a nice change and a hard find. Staff were really nice on reception and spoke English
The room for the price was below average. Wifi was a total waste of time signal and speed were terrible. The so called warm dish served at breakfast was cold as it was 30 mins before breakfast ended but this should not be the case as cold meat is dangerous to eat. The breakfast staff watched us full up on fruit and cerial before asking us if we want fried eggs 15 mins later, was to late as we were full other mornings they did not offer at all so had to ask and felt like I was putting them out. The restaurant staff in the evening were so slow, took us 25 mins to get a drink. The area is not safe and noisy as there is a train track right behind the building, so if you want to sleep past 6am choose somewhere else. Also the hotel is so far from the square or anything worth while you have to get taxis evertime.
Restaurant refused to serve us dessert because "the cook is too busy". We chose the top floor restaurant at the recommendation of the staff. Unusual experience.
Location was away from of the noise of the Plaza
Wifi was slow Shower was temperamental in one room Airport transfer never happened
Reception staff Room
Breakfast attendants A little noisy, but primarily in the morning when groups are heading out for Sacred Valley/Machu Piccu tours
Location a little bit far from centre, about 15 minutes by walk, noice at night from train nearby the hotel.. but overall everythink o.k.
everything, the best breakfast ever!
The staff was excellent and very helpful. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommended!
Beautiful Views from the restaurant
Very nice new rooms. Very nice bar/restaurant at the top with a 360 view.
Was not able to detect the wifi network.
A total retreat, food was fantastic and the room was superb!
Cleanliness. Organized and staff very friendly and helpful.
We visited in winter and the rooms were very cold. The portable heaters provided some relief. The service in the restaurant was very slow.
Spa bath Magnificent views from both room and restaurant (top floor) Very comfortable bed Staff was great Breakfast was great
Staff very helpful and caring
No control on hot and cold water either you get burned or frozen. Need regulators on each floor for better control of water temperature.
- close to the train station (from Puno) - very large and comfortable bed - room was nicely decorated, clean and well equipped - was concerned about noise, but traffic died down around 9 pm - very nice breakfast - reliable hot water - heater available if needed (staying in July, which is their winter) - staff were quite helpful in arranging transfers - great hotel if you are stopping over night and don't want to be in historical area
- Wifi signal was not very strong (may vary depending on location of room) - tiny leak in bathtub
A contemporary looking all around with a clean suite. Good price and affordable! Very attentive and courteous staff. A bit tight shower space but a huge Jacuzzi. Will come back definitely. S. Young.
This a great hotel. The staff are friendly and kind. Everyone speaks English. The hotel is only 1 year old. The bedroom and facilties are very good. The restraunt on the 12th floor has night views over the city that are spectaular and you will never forget that experience. I travel a lot in Peru on business and I give this Hotel 5 stars. Its a Gem. By the way 2 minutes walk to the Peru Rail Station for Machu Piccu and Shopping Markets 1 minute from the Hotel. Cheap restraunts everywhere. Dal. (Australia)
Its 1.2 kms from the city. So what. You are not going to spend everyday in the City. $1.60 in a Cab each way. Nothing to dislike about this hotel.
great beds clean modern room heater restaurant/breakfast
bathroom lighting cold floors no exhaust
Staff was very helpful and friendly. Beautiful room for breakfast on 11th floor.
close to "casco historico", large new rooms, nice bathroom
train passing just behind
Really nice, comfortable hotel with a great bed and excellent bathroom. One of us had to leave at 4 am and the staff delivered an early breakfast to our room and booked the taxi to the airport, excellent customer service.
The area is not great, miles away from everything including the airport. The train stops outside the hotel at 6 am which makes the entire building tremble, totally not the hotel´s fault but worth taking into consideration.
The hotel is new. The staff is nice.
Breakfast is not good. The hotel is not 1.2km away from the airport, it takes 5-10 minutes by car. And it is far from the city center.
Breakfast was extensive. Staff was polite ja helpful.
I asked in advance if they can book tickets to Machu Picchu for us and they promised that it's possible to buy tickets in hotel at the same time when we check-in. When we got to hotel there were no any tickets. They just pointed us where we can by those tickets and hoped that there is still some tickets available.
Cleanliness and modern atmosphere, overall good attention.
Location, eventhough it is close to Cusco´s Main Plaza, it is 3 blocks away from the touristy borderline, but is is close to a noisy street, and located in a very ugly area.
the view is amazing, try to ask for an upper floor
