With a small indoor swimming pool and views of the scenery from every room, the hotel has rooms with free Wi-Fi in Puerto Maldonado. Continental Bridge is 1 km away. Puerto Amazonico has rooms with simple décor, flat-screen cable TV and private bathrooms. Some of them have baths. Sandoval Lake is a 2-hour distance travelling by lake and on foot and the Obelisk is 10 blocks from Puerto Amazonico. Guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast with tropical fruits and regional breads. The staff made me feel welcome and always asked if I was ok, good for a solo traveller, even the chef Migual came out and made me feel very comfortable.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel offered a shuttle service for airport pickup and drop-off and this was most convenient particularly in busy Puerto Maldonado. The hotel is undergoing further construction and it was very noisy from early in the morning until late at night.

We only stayed at Puerto Amonica for one night before a tour to the Amazon jungle and for another night when our tour finished. The hotel stored our large luggage during the tour and were generally extremely friendly and helpful in all respects. They provide an airport shuttle and were very helpful with all of our transport needs. Thank-you staff at Puerto Amazonico. We were completely happy with the hotel.

Very helpful staff and convenient location. Easy to get to and from the Airport compared to lodges down the River; then easy access for day trips down the River; then have access to the town in the evening etc. rather than being confined to a Lodge in the Forest.

Can not recommend the Puerto Amazonico highly enough. All the staff work very hard to may your stay perfect. Katherine and her team have been so kind I am back here for a second visit after a stay in the jungle and was able to leave all my valuables and all non required kit safely with them. A truly great place to stay!

Hôtel tout neuf. 10 minutes à pied de la place d'armes. Comme partout au Pérou : pas d'isolation phonique. Tous les bruits intérieurs et extérieurs sont entendus.

Além do caríssimo preço considerando as acomodações, uma dificuldade para realizar o pagamento. Nao aceitaram pagamento em cartão de crédito, fomos pagar em soles (moeda local), nao tinham troco e nem tentaram resolver a situação. Tivemos que pagar em dólares e tbm nao tinham troco. Nós que tivemos que providenciar o dinheiro todo trocado. Café da manhã sem opções, a garargem nao cabe carros grandes e o quarto estava fedendo a fezes. Tivemos que trocar de quarto. Nos colocaram num quarto mais simples e nos cobraram o preço do quarto melhor.

Facil acesso um pouco fora do caos de puerto maldonado. A maquina da visa Nao estava funcionando e tive que pagar com meus dolares reserva, Caso usem cartao eles cobram 6% a mais do que o acertado pela reserva da booking.com o cafe da manha eh fraco e o atendimento e ruim

This is a great place to stay before and after an Amazon excursion or if you are just passing through. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They accommodate special requests and make sure your stay is great. Rates are good for the amenities available. The hotel has updated the rooms since my previous stay 5 months ago. There are mini bars in the rooms now as well as split unit air conditioners and monogrammed sheets and towels. Beware that most hotels in Puerto Maldonado do not have hot water! Puerto Amazonico does have hot water but you need to let the shower run for about 5 minutes before getting in. I think they told me before that the water is heated by solar. Many times it gets cold and/or cloudy in Madre De Dios region.
