The service at the hotel was just amazing. Every single member of staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us with getting around, booking taxis, arranging our trip to Machu Pichu and hiring a driver (who was amazingly friendly too!) for a whole day to go to Chincheros, Pisac and Ollantaytambo. My partner and I went there to start a business, and they even gave us some amazing and helpful tips to get to know the right people. This was my third time in Cuzco, and the first time in this hotel. Definitely the best of all. I will be going back soon again, and I won´t even think about going anywhere else. If I knew the names of all the staff that helped us, I would mention them individually, but I can only remember Yolanda (who runs the travel agency of the hotel) and Rosemary. Yolanda was so incredibly personal and helpful from the moment I booked the hotel (two weeks before arriving there), by replying to my email queries, etc., until the day we left. And the apartment was so incredibly nice...we thought we would love to have a holiday apartment like that.
The staff are the best part of this place. So helpful and pleasant. Our room also had a sauna! Full kitchen with food and beer you can take and pay for at check out.
The shower could have been a lot hotter, but jumping into the sauna after a shower was a satisfactory solution for me. The wifi speeds were really poor, but maybe that's the same everywhere in Cusco?
We liked everything, the fireplace, the view, the staff - amazing experience.
We stayed in 2 apartments during 2 different visits to Cusco - Inka Wasi and Pakarina. Both very comfortable with real character.
Big hill to walk up from main square which at the altitude of Cusco can make even the fairly fit out of breath. But we knew this before we booked so not really complaining. Would still stay there again!
We tried two different rooms during two different stays. The first one was excellent. The second time, with stunning view, fire place and private sauna, was just unbelievable.
The firmness of the bed
Great place, the best breakfasts brought to your door and lovely room setting!
liked the decor of the apt-combines an Inca wall and Inca decor as well as modern furniture and bright color scheme. Breakfast service at apt was excellent Staff was polite and helpful
The stairs to the neighborhood are tough to handle with bags
Palatial size Very helpful staff Nice amenities
It is off the beaten path, which is both good and bad
Very nice house, beautiful rooms, everything is very comfortable. Great breakfast.
It doesn't have the nice welcoming feeling that many small guesthouses in Cusco have. Still, it is a great place.
The staff are fabulous! Very helpful and willing to organise whatever they can. Yolanda for travel arrangements cannot be beaten. Indira and other receptionists are lovely.
The only thing is the hard mattress but that is subjective. Sleep is difficult at that altitude, nothing the hotel can do about that.
Lovely place in Cusco! Nice apartment, spacious and with all comforts: like at home and in a 5 stars hotel at the same time!
nice place, nice room (I was fan of fire place in room number 4) and nice people (very welcoming) I definetly recommand this hotel in Cuzco. Stan
honestly, everything was really great ! I could'nt say something bad about the quinua boutique hotel
Extremely spacious, clean and comfortable room for a great value. Great place to rest and refresh after a week of backpacking and visiting ruins. Hot showers and complimentary space heaters were available. Wifi strength was good. Complimentary breakfast had a good amount of choices, and I liked that you could place your order and designate a time to have it delivered right to your room. We only stayed here for one night but had a great experience
Staff was not very knowledgeable about the best way to get to some of the ruins we were interested in (Sacsaywaman and Pisac), although one lady did make a call to a cab driver friend for information. We had better luck asking the iPeru tourist information desks, as well as a tour company that we used for luggage storage.
Staff, the girls are so nice and helpful. The room is amazing
Location, forgot my passport once and had to hike all the way up.
Everything, all hotels should be like that : - felt like home the 1st minute - nice staff helping - i was lucky to be upgraded - fire in the chimney (though 10$ a bit expensive for some Wood) - breakfast very good (u choose what u want and its served in room) - location is good but the way back a bit tough (have to go up to the hill about 10 min from the plaza) - bed and pillows very comfy
Just details : - 1 heater didnt work so had to buy wood for fire. - neighborhood can be a bit noisy (dogs, roaster)
Quinua Villa was the most outstanding hotel of our month in Peru. Outstanding in attention to detail (airport pickup, service, apartment, breakfast, booking restaurants and arrangement of tours). The staff were very professional, warm and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience
My wife came down with a fever and the staff cared for us both with medical help, take out dinner, transportation around the city. Great room. Very comfy, very clean. Even after we checked out, they kept tabs on us, making sure we were ok. Wonderful hotel with a great staff. Highly recommended.
Wonderful staff. They picked us up from airport and stored our luggage all BEFORE we stayed there! (we headed straight to Agua Calientes and returned the next day). They organised taxis and dinner reservations.. was really easy. Staff spoke good English and meant I didn't have to practice much of my rusty Spanish. Breakfast is marvellous and they lay everything out on the table for you in your apartment. Beautiful view over Cusco.. felt like being in a movie set stepping on to the little balcony. Sunny internal courtyard and very peaceful place to be. Each apartment is a little different I believe... loved ours (the blue one) with its quirky art and blue jeans duvet cover. Enormous and comfortable bed.
Stairs (though the view is worth it!). We climbed Machu Picchu mountain and facing stairs on our return was a big challenge, especially as we were still adjusting the altitude. It was slowly but surely! Also so many stairs would be something to consider for those that have any mobility problems as there were stairs to get there from the street, stairs up to the courtyard and stairs in the apartment to the bedroom. The shower head was a bit broken, but easily worked around.
Friendly staff was accommodating and brought us breakfast very early in the morning. The location is good, although just a little bit of a hike to town. Spacious for the price range. Tasteful decor.
Staff very helpful. Served us breakfast very early in morning upon request. Spaciousness of two level suite with kitchen makes it a very good value for the price.
Would have preferred less firm bed. Towels were not soft.
Nice shower nice bed big apartment breakfast is great good views
On the hill
The staff was so helpful. We used the on site travel agency and they made everything stress free. Daily breakfast delivery to the room. Never worried about our stuff while they serviced the apartment.
The dishes in the apartment weren't as clean as I would have liked. I washed them before I used them.
The View over Cuzco is amazing The Breakfast delivered to your room every morning The apartments are seriously spacious with loads of character & all completely unique & different. Wifi is excellent & you have 3 or 4 different modems to choose from.
Loved this place. We rented every room and each one is cool and quaint. The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly.
