Friendly staff was accommodating and brought us breakfast very early in the morning. The location is good, although just a little bit of a hike to town. Spacious for the price range. Tasteful decor.
Staff very helpful. Served us breakfast very early in morning upon request. Spaciousness of two level suite with kitchen makes it a very good value for the price.
Would have preferred less firm bed. Towels were not soft.
Nice shower nice bed big apartment breakfast is great good views
On the hill
The staff was so helpful. We used the on site travel agency and they made everything stress free. Daily breakfast delivery to the room. Never worried about our stuff while they serviced the apartment.
The dishes in the apartment weren't as clean as I would have liked. I washed them before I used them.
The View over Cuzco is amazing The Breakfast delivered to your room every morning The apartments are seriously spacious with loads of character & all completely unique & different. Wifi is excellent & you have 3 or 4 different modems to choose from.
Loved this place. We rented every room and each one is cool and quaint. The staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly.
Wish we could have stayed longer! Beautiful, spacious apartment with a view and fireplace!
spacious, well-appointed apartment. Lovely view over Cusco while enjoying our wood burning fireplace. Decorations are creative, fun, and eclectic. Very quiet location but not too far from the Plaza de Armas.
The bed is a little too hard. A pillow top would help.
It was an amazing room, and experience for our first time in Cusco! Our flight arrived before our room was ready, and they allowed us to stay in another room until our room was cleaned. The staff was very helpful, and we would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Cusco!
Very good staff, always willing to assist and very polite. Booked a couple of trips through the apartment via Bernie who gave great advice on what to do and what to see. Had private tours which seemed great value. The kitchen is well stocked, rooms are spacious, no.3 is awesome. Apartment is happy to hold your luggage while going on hikes etc. Would recommend. Small markets virtually on the doorstep with basic goodies if you forget something but the Apartment supplies a basket of them as well for a price.
Roads around the area are only one way and sometimes jammed with traffic but it is only about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the centre of Cusco. All adds to the experience.
The place was great! Room was comfortable and clean! Good location! Helpful and friendly staff! Excellent complimentary breakfast!
Very charming apartments with a lot of lovely details. The privately served breakfast was delightful and always came right at the indicated time.
Many steep stairs to reach this wonderful spot.
Unique apartments, immaculately appointed. Staff were very helpful and so friendly!
I have stayed at Quinua Villa several times over a 2 year period and it remains excellent in every way. I have now stayed in three different apartments and each are beautifully designed, functional and charming giving a real feeling of luxury but still strongly connected to Peru. Well done to the team that makes every stay a delight.
The views from our apartment were spectacular. Fireplace and kitchenette.
No fault of the hotel and we were here the first day and the altitude sickness was awful!
To get to the property requires one to climb rock-hewn steps - which at first is charming - but later - especially given the toll the altitude takes on ones ability to breathe for a few days - is just inconvenient. If I returned to Cuzco, I would stay in a hotel in the same historical district! but one that was closer to the lower section. Everything else about the hotel was great.
This was possibly one of the best "hotels" we have ever stayed in!! Fantastic!
Very nice apartment with extremely pleasant breakfast served right in one's room. Good location and nice balcony overlooking the whole city. Extremely nice and friendly staff. Free taxi service, provided by the apartment, was a pleasant point of our trip.
The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was great! It has a beautiful view to the whole town! Breakfast, served in the room, was delicious and excellent!
There are many stairs to reach the hotel, which does not matter unless you have limited mobility.
quinua villa is lovely. It's a really nice apart-hotel in the beautiful San Blas district of Cusco among some very traditional buildings and winding streets. The place is extremely comfortable and they have some lovely touches like coca tea on arrival and turn down service (won't spoil it but nice touch). Lovely view from the terrace over Cusco too.
Nothing we didn't like. Wifi could have been a bit stronger but still worked.
The room was amazing, the staff were very helpful, best place to stay in Cusco
Just a single word to describe the Quinua Boutique: MARVELLOUS!!!!! Efficient staff, comfortable rooms, kindness and hospitality in the air!! It is a must when visiting Cusco.
Little complicated to reach the highest apartment because of the stairs if you have a knee weakness.
Quaint courtyard setting, individual designed apartments with traditional Peruvian features. Staff helpful, without being intrusive. Good standard of daily cleaning. Off-site laundry service for only 6 Peruvian Soles per kilo - returned neatly folded in a basket. Daily breakfast service delivered to your apartment (although as others have said, the novelty wears off after a few days, not much variety). Good self-catering kitchen facilities. Two small shops within 1 minute walk for basic food items. Relatively easy 10 minute walk to Cusco main town square (uphill on the way back though!).
Despite being away from the main area of Cusco, it was very noisy: dogs barking and car alarms going off at all hours. Outside of the apartments is a pavement, with people (and dogs) continually walking past. Noise from other apartments keeping us awake most nights - you can hear people talking, watching TV, having a shower, flushing the toilet. Lots of steps to climb to reach the property, which could be quite difficult for some people. Linen on bed needs updating - old, scratchy sheets and blankets, not conducive to a good nights sleep.
Decor, remaining of ancient walls, space, breakfast, reasonable laundry service
The receptionist / duty manager does not speak English. This is the most frustrating part. We have to translate over Google. There is no waiting lobby - We have to sit on the stairs to wait for 1 hour for our taxi as we have to check out by 9AM. To get to the central square, it is a fair bit to walk. Walking back is the problem as it is located up a hill. At high altitude, it can get unbearable. The cleaners are very thorough, but they do touch / pack away your personal belongings if left out on the table etc.
The people were amazing, and I loved the Incan architecture being incorporated into the building and design. The food and services were wonderful.
