Great place, peaceful and great setting. After a day in the Cusco madness, it was great to retreat to the quietness of this Casona.
I suppose breakfast could be more exciting....
The friendly and helpful staff especially Angel that did everything to help us in anything , coffee & tea in lobby, the courtyard layout, within walking distance of main city plaza & shopping, breakfast buffet, comfort of room
WiFi could be better
Everyone helped us in every single way , even for things that did not have anything to do with our stay or our tours. Always happy and friendly the staff will always make your stay better and better. The location is also a plus for this little hostel.
it a good place and a good location and a ggod value.its a neet place to stay with a good breakfest
wi-fi comes and go and if you need hot water early you need to make sure they know with a note
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good supply of coca and other selection of tea. Nice outdoor courtyard. I got a deal from booking.com so value was excellent
Wifi connection poor Hot water not always available
Great location and great staff who organised all our tours (Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, City tour and Maras Moray). Great breakfast. Wonderful.
I booked for 4 nights while using only 2 nights, for the other nights I ll be in Agua Calientes, but since I booked earlier this hostel, I couldnt change my booking without a cost (7 days before). I was happy because they gave me big room with 4 beds. Even tho I would sleep only one night. because i ll be leaving to Agua Calientes early in the next morning. The manager Hendry was really nice and helpful, coca tea available for altitude sickness. Anyway this is a nice place to stay, close to everywhere, but fit for a backpacker budget
But after i came back from dinner still the first night, the staff told me that when I come back from Machu Pichu my room will be changed, because they need it for other travelers. I was so tired, and if only they told me earlier I wont took out everything from my luggage thought My belongings would be there while I left. I refused, we had arguements, because I dont want to spend the night packing all over again, when I supposed only pack small luggage. They gave up. Even tho later on I gave them the big room, not for them but for other travelers that needed the room. If only they understand and speak a little english.
*Location was close to Plaza de Armas *Staff was very helpful and friendly
*Room could get very cold
The included breakfast was nice.
The hotel would not accept credit cards, even when I pointed out that when we booked with Booking.com it specifically said they accepted credit cards. Then they overcharged for a taxi to the airport which never arrived. We nearly missed our flight due to their incompetence.
Minor. Tv reception not very clear. Tours well organized although a bit expensive.
breakfast, there is not fruit...
Picture you see on this website is not real. The reason way I choosed it, is because I saw wonderful picture but when we arrive, was not true. I could write all problems we had, but I decide not put put more.
We were in Cuzco for the first time and wanted to see as much as possible. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and made it possible with scheduling all our excursions. The hotel was centrally located and walking distance to the Plaza and eating and drinking. There was plenty of space in the room, blankets and free breakfast. There was also plenty of hot tea to prevent altitude sickness. We would definitely stay here again!
The staff is great. Breakfast was nice. Bedroom was warm and with extra heaters if needed plus TV. Hot water all day. 7 minute walk from Main Square. Close to Koricancha. They printed all what we needed for free. They called a taxi too.
Towels could be of better quality as well as toilet paper.
