Location! Staff helped us at every turn. Tours, money changing, restaurants, taxis, anything! Spoke good english, served good breakfasts. They even have coca tea in the lobby 24/7. We put money into the staff tip box a few times. Well deserved!
The only negative I can think of is the early check-out - 8:30 am.
Very well located, good breakfeast and nice atmosphere.
Rooms dos not have air conditioner and no ventilation which gets worse with the altitude.
Attention at the front desk was poor elevator was really old and small
Right in the centre of town, great breakfasts, staff were very helpful
Location was excellent, staff were really great, looked after our luggage while gone to MP as well as a great breakfast.
Super hotel, lovely decor, large rooms around a central courtyard, therefore quiet too. Very clean. The staff were very polite & helpful. Breakfast was fabulous with loads of choice. Loved our stay.
Wifi dropped out quite a lot. The water was never hot, only just warm enough, but the plus's outweighed the minus's.
All aspects of accommodation were excellent, as was the very friendly, helpful service. Room was indeed spacious, fully equipped, and located in a quiet section. Breakfast was outstanding! Location in town was perfect. Will want to visit again!
The Location is excellent
Quality of breakfast offered, poor choice of fruits and cereals. Bathroom was not well clean.
Big rooms; Excellent location; Good breakfast.
Didn't have my bookings through booking.com when I arrived, credit card machine did not accept Mastercard so I had to go to their other hotel to pay, reception tried to put me into a single room when I had booked a double at the same rate that I had paid.
My daughter and I just finished a summer trip and we spent 3 nights at the Royal Inka 1. It is a great location, only one block from the main plaza. The staff was very accommodating and the food was very good as well. I would recommend it highly.
Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast was good. Right in the thick of the town
Room without any natural light Wifi connection was a lottery
Good location. One block from main square.
Excellent facilities and most of the staff (bar the front desk ladies) were lovely. Breakfast was superb. The rooms are very clean, the water was hot and the hotel is situated very close to the main squares.
We had a lot of trouble with the receptionists. They were rude, slow and had the worst service of anyone we met in South America. The night after we returned from our Machu Picchu trek, the lady at the front desk took over 15 minutes to serve us - not because she was helping other guests, but because she decided it was appropriate to take multiple phone calls. This is despite the fact we were standing there waiting in our dirty clothes, and it was almost 10 30 pm. After she finally turned to us, there was no apology. She was rude and did not explain anything, even when I asked what some of the information written in Spanish meant. It seems petty, but we were paying for good service - not to be treated like second-class citizens.
Location Decorations Wonderful breakfast buffet Clean rooms Door men and waiters were great Typical amenities like hair dryer and bathtub
Front desk lady wasn't friendly and didn't explain anything about the hotel or the amenities when we checked in
We are a cuple in the 60 years old , We wos booking this hotel for 3 nights , but my wife wos wos seak ( not inaf oxygen) then we left this hotel after one night and we paid for 1.5 nights
The hotel staff were very accommodating and helpful. Wilbert who picked us up from the airport helped us with our tour packages to Machu Picchu, the city and markets for a reasonable price. The location of the hotel couldn't be more perfect! Right next to the main plaza, tons of restaurants and shopping areas.
I didn't like the beds to much, but I can't complain for the price I paid. There is not much to not like.
Comefortable, clean, great location, wonderful staff. Not a 5 * hotel but not 5* prices either. I would defiantly stay here again.
The room was on the street & it was occasionally noisy.
Nice location and our stay was nice
Royal Inka II really Sucks, dont stay there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I loved the large room and the dark wooden floors with the open patio. The TV had some English channels and wifi was available. It was sometimes slow. The location of the hotel was perfect, close to the Plaza. They did provide transportation to the airport.
Communication was sometimes a problem. Perhaps that was the reason for the staff not being as friendly. I thought the hotel had a swimming pool because of the description but it was the other Royal Inka. They only provide transportation one way to or from the airport.
The location is excellent
The wifi service is terrible and walls are like paper
The hotel had a good location. The breakfast was good.
The wifi did not work. In compensation, staff allowed people some free time on public computers for which they otherwise charge. They charged for printing boarding passes. The hot water didn't work. The room was advertised as having a patio. But it had no outside access, and faced an interior courtyard. The shared second floor walkway around the courtyard was the "patio."
I love the location of this hotel
The Wi-Fi did not function properly
Staff very nice all of them. The location is excellent, one block from the main square Plaza de Armas. Clean rooms with heating system which is not common in similar places in Peru/latam.
Wifi a little slow, breakfast didn't have too many pastries, just a couple of cakes.
Location, design, large quiet room, helpful staff, and interesting paintings!.
They were incapable of getting the WIFI to work. They had difficulty in the number 2 hotel too, but at least I was eventually able to connect.
The hotel is well located and the bedroom is big and comfortable. Nice decoration!
The breakfast is very poor and some stuff are not friendly.
