Nice Hotel with character
Staff not very friendly and with attitude! Room can get noisy as they open onto the courtyard Quite expensive
There were courtyards and patios to spend leisure time.
Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, very pretty courtyard and gardens.
Reception staff were not very welcoming on arrival. They were slightly more friendly subsequently but it was a marked contrast to the staff at the nearby hotel terra viva san blas - who gave us a really warm and friendly welcome and were incredibly polite and efficient throughout our stay.
A good place to stay in Miraflores near Avenida Jose Pardo. The breakfast room/restaurant on the top floor has a view of the ocean.
Hotel offers a pick up from the airport. Located really close to the Cusco Square. Great little restaurant just down the road called Mikes.
Service was terrific, location great and the exterior courtyard's were amazing for sitting in the sun.
The room was a bit small and a bit cold. Really good value for money, though.
After the first night we were charged $3.00 USD for every bottle of water left in the room. They did not provide complementary water!! How annoying and how petty!
Everything! It was by far the best place we stayed in Peru.
Everything! Beginning with the pick up from the airport .. Karina who spoke excellent English accompanied the driver. On the way back to the hotel, she answered all our questions and gave good advice on where to go. She organised a car and driver for the next day for us. Also the rooms, food, staff were all excellent. The best place we have stayed in Peru! Definitely recommend it! Very attractive and tastefully decorated. Excellent breakfast!
Nothing at all!
The hotel is lovely. It has colonial decor. The rooms are spread out across the beautiful building full of little patios all beautifully kept. This ensures the atmosphere is very calm and peaceful to relax after a day of walking up and down Cusco's slopes. It's very close to the Plaza de Armas in a quiet area of the city. I enjoyed their spa and a massage. Love the atmosphere
These things didn't bother me, but should let other travelers know that they have a quiet policy from 9:00 PM -7:00 AM. Also know that if you have physical limitations, be sure to ask for a ground floor room. The hotel is filled with stairs.
Character and charm, just about the right distance from the noise of town in one direction and the climb to the San Blas neighborhood in the other. Breakfast was not extensive but had a couple of hot dishes and I did not tire of it in a week. It would have been convenient if they had supplied bottled water after the first day but it costs only pennies in nearby shops. Overall, great.
Fantastic overall. Breakfast excellent, always hot tea available, made check in/check out extremely fast and convenient. Upgraded our room on arrival. Quaint and beautiful courtyards with a very authentic feel.
Lovely courtyards and common areas. Very good breakfasts, with plenty of choice. Nice dining room / lounge area. Room was comfortable, but basic
Amenities in bathroom were simple i.e. just soap and shampoo. Would've been nice to have a shower cap and hand cream
Excellent breakfast buffet with quality food choices. Comfortable beds. Hot water. Refrigerator in room. Business center was helpful as everyone does not bring an ipad or notebook with them. The desk staff was helpful with a call to my airline as I was having a check in problem. They provided luggage storage while we did a trek at no charge. The landscaping was lovely and inviting and there were nice gardens to relax in. It was a refuge from the city as it was quiet within their walls. We slept well.
I have to leave too soon.
location clean quiet breakfast
Beautiful courtyards, the room and bed were comfortable.
The staff were ok but far from friendly. Ear plugs provided on the night stand tell you what to expect as far as noise.
location quiet breakfast comfort service
The room and bed were very comfortable. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with many plants. The staff are helpful and friendly
The acoustics were bad at times. Some guests were loud and their voices echoed a lot in spite if signs posted asking people to be quiet during sleeping hours
The Rumi Punku is a wonderful hotel with lots of character and excellent service that you will not find in a chain hotel. It was located on a very nice street with shops and restaurants and just a short walk to the Plaza de Armas. The hotel itself was Peruvian picturesque with at least three inviting courtyards. The rooms were very clean and lovely. They were warm and had a very comfortable bed and a hot shower. We also enjoyed the included breakfast each morning in the lovely dining room. The staff was very helpful. They picked us up from the airport, arranged a wonderful trip to the Sacred Valley for us the day after our arrival, and helped us with restaurant suggestions. We could not have been more pleased. Thanks Rumi Punku!!
Huge rooms Hotel setting Friendly staff
A little pricey
The hotel is very beautiful and plants are everywhere. In winter (August), in Cusco,Peru, it can be quite cold (less than 10°C at 16:00 pm, even less early in the morning). We asked that they start the heating earlier than at 17:00 - 17:30 pm and they did it. Be Aware, it is «normal» in Peru; I saw somewhere else, very «decent» hotels with no heating at all unless you ask for a stand-alone heating unit in the room and pay 10 soles for it. There is heating at Rumi Punku. Personal is very helpful. We have arrived 2 days before our reservation and they organized a tour that I had no time to do otherwise. André
Excellent Breakfast, good location, friendly staff, hot showers, computer room.
The hotel is a very beautiful building in a colonial style with nice inner yards where you can sit and relax. The staff is very helpful and kind.
Excellent complimentary breakfast Staff responded quickly to requests Lovely courtyard Friendly and accommodating staff Complimentary Coca leaf tea available at all times
Bed was uncomfortable Had to call front desk for heater to work Had to call front desk for hot water to work Only one-way free airport transportation
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, clean and cozy. They are all well-equipped, with fridge, drinks, and chocolate. The breakfast is very good, continental style. The coffee could have been better, but it was hard to find really good coffee, particularly espresso, in Peru, so this is not apparently their fault. The staff is helpful and very polite, ready to propose tours only when asked (instead of being pushy like in other places in Peru), and to find solutions for any of your problems. This hotel is really a great place. Worth every penny. The location is very good, but it is at a steep street, 10 minutes from the Plaza de Armas. Although this is not really bad, for it makes you admire the nice streets of the city center.
Everything was fine.
