Staff were so friendly; called taxis for us; always were friendly: held our luggage for abt 36 hours ; brought us a space heater when we couldn't get the radiator to work; seemed like they really liked running a hotel .
We didn't like the damp, but after all, it was the rainy season, and part of everyday life for most people who live and work in Cusco.
Nice hotel with good location very good beds and excellent warm water in the shower. Breakfast is ok.
The hotels only problem is that you can hear a mosquito fart in the nextdoor room. It works when other guest respect the signs about noisepolicy. But if they don't you are in for a early unwanted wakeup. Except if you have room 401 located alone on top floor
Beautiful courtyard, unique setting, great breakfast with tea available 24/7. Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating and secured our bags while we hiked the Inca Trail. Upon return, they had our bags in our new (upgraded) room
Room dimensions Mini-bar Bathroom dimensions. Facilities in general are very good.
I stayed in other cheaper hotel in Cusco with better location and more friendly staff, even with less stars rating. Rate between 80-100$ in Cusco is very expensive.
Everything!! Facilities are superb. Breakfast was just perfect. Awesome ambience. Good location.
At the time of paying the bill, my $100 bills were questioned because they were a bit worn and one of them shown a small tear. In the end, I was charged extra $5. Money is money everywhere except in Peru where businesses are particular about this sort of thing, which is very annoying for travelers.
Breakfast, comfortable room, luggage was stored while we were trekking and was ready in our room when we returned.
Very nice hotel with perfect location (near main square). Rooms quite big, clean and very comfortable. Good but everyday the same breakfast.
Only thing to improve is the staff. Most of them are not that kind as you would expect in this type of place. While checking out I responded to the staff that we did not take anything from the minibar. The staff sent a guy to the room to check it which was kind of funny as we stayed there 3 nights and paid almost 300 dollars....
- the colonial spirit of the building (wondeful facades with wood balconies, peaceful and delightful flowered patios, superb main room) - the comfort of the rooms - 5min walk to the 'Plaza de Armas' but in a quiet street - the quality and variety of the breakfast (however some items may miss if you come late). - raisonnable price of excursions organized by the hotel - Last but not least, the oxygen therapy and pills offered to people that may suffer of the Altitude (Cuzco is at 3'400m)
- the breakfast buffet that can miss choices if you come late - no elevator (not a real negative point giving an elevator will denature the architecture of the hotel, but may be hard for aged people or with heavy luggages)
The staff was speaking english. Nice hotel. Good location!
The breakfast was a little bit to little
Excellent breakfast! Garden courtyard was inviting and relaxing with fountains and attractive flowers.
Staff at the front desk seemed a bit standoffish. It took a bit for the hot water in the shower to kick-in.
It was easy to leave our luggage while off trekking for 4 days - when we came back our suitcases had been put in our new room.
It is a nice colonial style hotel. In our view it is worth going for a superior room, as the standard room we had first was very small. We changed to a superior room which was even larger and better after our return from the Inka Trail. It is located quite centrally and everything is in walking distance.
The personel was not always very friendly as we were used to it from our stay in northern Peru (except for Carina who picked us up from the airport). The breakfast as such is good with fresh fruits, fresh juices and very good bread. However, there was only one person working and very often there was quite a lot of used plates etc on the tables. On our second last day we saw that someone got eggs for breakfast - it was neither written somewhere nor did anyone ask whether we would like to have some. Also when one of the juices was finished and we asked for more, she said ok, but did not make any fresh juice.
The hotel has great character
That they charge for the sauna. For the price paid, this service should be included.
Everything is very good! Clean and comfortable room, cozy sitting room with fireplace and leather sofas, free tea and coffee 24 hours. Very competent and friendly staff always ready to help. We are very pleased and thankful.
Breakfast is to start at 5.30 but during the first hour the table is almost empty, we could not get even juice.
Nice facilities and comfortable rooms.
Discourteous, unhelpful staff; very unlike experiences in other Cusco hotels of the same category
The hotel, which is in a converted colonial mansion, is located a 10 min. walk from the plaza des armas, but is very quiet during the night.
Wifi is rather slow, although that seems a general problem for hotels in southern Peru.
The hotel was lovely. The rooms comfortable and clean. The location was just what I wanted....off the main Plaza areas and therefore, quiet. The staff was the best!!! Even with constant changes to our schedule, they went out of their way to accommodate us. I highly recommend this hotel
The breakfast, the convenience (storing luggage), the pretty setting, the location and the price.
Our small room was dark during the day but hallway lights made it very bright at night - lights glaring into the room, making it hard to sleep.
Staff Location Hot Shower Nice terrasse
Nice Hotel with character
Staff not very friendly and with attitude! Room can get noisy as they open onto the courtyard Quite expensive
There were courtyards and patios to spend leisure time.
Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, very pretty courtyard and gardens.
Reception staff were not very welcoming on arrival. They were slightly more friendly subsequently but it was a marked contrast to the staff at the nearby hotel terra viva san blas - who gave us a really warm and friendly welcome and were incredibly polite and efficient throughout our stay.
A good place to stay in Miraflores near Avenida Jose Pardo. The breakfast room/restaurant on the top floor has a view of the ocean.
Hotel offers a pick up from the airport. Located really close to the Cusco Square. Great little restaurant just down the road called Mikes.
Service was terrific, location great and the exterior courtyard's were amazing for sitting in the sun.
The room was a bit small and a bit cold. Really good value for money, though.
