WiFi coverage can be improved
Location in the center of the town, helpful staff.

No TV or fridge in rooms but they had a communal lounge with TV on both levels and WIFI was poor in our room
The position on river and overlooking ruins was fantastic and basically in the square, short walk to train, ruins and old Inca village

The room wasn't that great, it was not clean when we arrived, some one's gym shorts were jammed behind the bathroom door.
Very friendly staff, the location is really great, just at the top of the hill and ten minutes walk to the tourist train station that takes you to Machu Picchu.

i thot the price was a bit higher than i expected
enjoyed the river from balcony.

room is very basic, dusty somehow. no hot water one night. one young staff is polite but not helpful.
great location. close to main plaza, walkable to train station. heart's café is across street, a nice place to eat.

They were varnishing the wood when we stayed at the hotel, so there was a very strong smell of varnish in the rooms.
Perfect location in the center of Ollantaytambo, walking distance to the train station and to the ruins. Nice river passing along the hotel, so rooms have a small balcony over the river.

We had them order a pickup at the airport which was 50% more expensive that what you would have paid off the street, in a dirty car. Staff's restaurant recommendation was the worst restaurant we ate in not only in Peru, but the whole of South America.
Property with character, great view over the fort and right in the middle of town.

Cold shower. Cold in breakfast room. Minimal breakfast (1 fruit only)
The view of the ruins and the river were fantastic.
March 25, 2015
The staff is very accommodating and gave us a room overlooking the river. I'm still trying to conjure up that view and sound now that I've returned home. The room itself is basic, but very clean and comfortable. The shower water was hot and the breakfast very good. No complaints about this hotel-we recommend it!

We tried to book a transfer from Cusco via email but it was not arranged.
The man at the desk printed our train tickets to Aguas Calientes for us and was very nice and helpful throughout our stay.

The wifi signal was weak.
Great location with a view of the ruins from our room. Friendly staff. The room was pretty basic, but clean.

The breakfast is adequate but nothing special.
The hotel is perfectly placed for all the attractions of Ollanta - but not as near the station as others if you are going to Machu Picchu. Ask for a room overlooking the river - spacious, quiet and with excellent views. Good reception staff.

Wifi was not satisfying.

The laundry service wasn't that great; it took longer than promised so we had to shift back our plans by two hours. The bathroom ceiling also had some mold but it was a common theme in Peru given the dampness in the air so it is a minor issue (but could be a health concern for some). These are minor things, so don't let it stop you from booking.
Ollantaytambo is a small town so the location is not bad no matter where you are, but the hotel is right up the street from the station (Peru Rail) and ruins which is an added plus. The view was absolutely stunning and was the biggest plus; the river and the ruins on the mountain was spectacular. Very quiet and had the tranquil sounds of the rushing river. It was one of my favorite hotels (and places) in the country. Breakfast is situated in a nice area with windows and you can order off a menu as well. Rooms were spacious, charming, and comfortable with food floors. I recommend paying extra for the view rooms. A resident cat was also a great companion during our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend it. Staff was nice as well; the one guy seemed to be working at all hours every day. His English is also very good.

We didn't stay there but we didn't get any refund back

staff is very resourceful n friendly

The coffee :-)
- 10 minute walk from the train station - 2 minute walk to the Inca ruins - 2 minute walk to the town centre The river runs beside the hotel, very nice view from our room. Friendly and helpful reception. Good breakfast included.

Bathroom was a little mouldy and hot water just would not work on our first night and early morning despite carefully following directions to let hot tap run for several minutes first.
The view from our room was beautiful - spectacular ruins, georgeous river and quaint village. Lovely rustic, traditional atmosphere in the hotel and simple, but clean and comfortable decor in room. Nice towels and room well- serviced. Fabulous location close to ruins, centre of village and handy proximity to train station

We stayed here on night and had beautiful views of the ruins and river. It is in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel very clean. Would definately stay here again.
January 5, 2015
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very good location, just outside the main plaza and at the end of the street leading to the train station. View from the room was amazing.
January 4, 2015
Slow wi-fi (it's Peru, pretty much the norm).
Location- Less than a mile (walkable distance) from train station. Even closer to Ollantaytambo ruins! Great staff. Stay one night, leave for Machu Picchu for one night, come back two nights later and they're happy to keep your bags for you. Nice breakfast.

The view we had of the river next to the hotel and some ruins up the mountain were great. The front desk guy, Oscar, was also awesome, really helpful and friendly.
