It was raining when we arrived and the hotel felt cold. They had a patio heater in the sitting area off the lobby so that was warm. But the upstairs sitting area and the passage to where our room was located were cold and so was our room (204). The worse thing was that there was mold in the bathroom and for this reason, I will not recommend this hotel. The internet did not work in the room. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and we noticed after we came back to the room in the evening that the wet towels that we had used in the morning had been rolled up and placed on the bed after it was made. Also, there were no hangars and no glasses in the room.
Good Location close to Ruins and Plaza des Armas. Oscar and René were very helpful. Renée packed a nice brown bag lunch for us to take to Machu Picchu. The breakfast was good; made to order eggs, bread, ham, cheese, assorted jams, fruit, yogurt and cereals. The bedside lamps were not working and Oscar helped with that and brought a heater to the room. He gave good recommendations for near by restaurants. He also helped dry out wet jackets.
