Terra Andina Hotel Cusco    

The room we had was quite nice. Large, very clean and elegant. This was a quiet inner room and the noise level was near zero. Best sleep on the extended vacation! I would recommend this hotel but cannot give staff a full vote of enthusiasm. The range of staff response was from exceptional to diffdent. Delivery to airport was terrific! Left medicine in room and staff located and returned medicine .... Too my great relief.

Some staff were slow to respond and not friendly. Work needed ....

The breakfast was excellent (a big varity and everything fresh prepared e.g. Ordering anystile of eggs)and the stuff was outstanding fiendly and helpful.the atmosphere was relaxed and its worth to stay longer in this small romantic hotel. We get 200%more then we aspect (pick up from the airport was offered,we didn't needed to asked for it)this small thing made our stay very comfortable Thank you thank you!!!

Good hotel but I think the staff was not very friendly. This is service industry and friendly sewrvice is a requisite. Overall a good hotel. In fact the internet was not even working although it wasw claimed that it is working

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to helping my friend and I plan our travels in Cusco. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and pleasant to stay at.

The wifi was a little spotty

The employees and service were above wonderful ! Our room was very clean and comfortable with great beds and pillows. Great food and excellent location to explore the markets.

The front office manager "lilana" needs a serious refresher course in handling Hotel guests. Her frozen, fake painted-on smile is just too obvious to ignore.

The staff were very helpful, especially with tourism questions. Special thanks to Ivan. Breakfast was great and available very early in the morning which is essential when you are in The Sacred Valley area and want to get on with your day. Good safe, quiet and off the main street but convenient walk to Plaza Del Armas etc. Immaculate rooms, very modern and upscale for price.

Classy hotel, with a very helpful staff. Large, nice room, huge king-size bed, good jacuzzi bathtub tub. Fast wide band WiFi internet connection. Good breakfast. At walking distance from city center,

No elevator!

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are great. Located very near centre of city. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

I liked everything about this hotel. It was my favorite hotel I stayed at in South America and I sayed at a lot. They picked us up from the airport and the staff provided history and information about the city on our way to the hotel. Room was very comfortable, and clean and the location was perfect. The staff here was so friendly, next time I am in Cusco this is the only place I am staying.

1. We were greeted by a good English speaking staff member who took our luggage and handled all our checking in formalities while we were chilling on the sofa. Very warm and friendly. 2. They usually only arrange for pick-up from the airport, however since we came to the hotel at our own cost, they were kind enough to offer a complimentary drop-off to the airport. 3. Breakfast in the open area with skylights was great! Breakfast items were fresh and someone made eggs right there in front of you to order!

1. It is about 10-13 min walk from Plaza de Armas. Not too bad though. 2. Rooms were a bit small. They were comfortable nonetheless, but not too much space to move around or keep your large sized luggage. 3. Used coca leaves as room freshners. Some people may like it, but we did not really care too much for that smell.

1. Check out time is 8.30 am. 2. All the rooms are very noisy. 3. I became sick in the morning, could barely move. I was ready to pay for the next day, but they forcibly kicked me out.

Location

personnal touch, the service they offer made us feel like home. Start from "airport pick up" ,our flight was delay, their staff waited outside for more than half hour, welcome us with only smile. before check in a cup of hot "coca leaf tea" for cure high altitude discomfort. Breakfast is wonderful. Front desk staff used her own phone to make long distance call to Lima for us . We went out at night, make sure our safety,they arranged Taxi drop us and pick us at the time we desired. Can you believe taxi driver only charge us 4.00 (less than $1.50)soles each way. This hotel only have 31 rooms , but it has nice food, great staff, good location,clean room. we travel around the world, most time we stay in 4-5 star hotels,even now, we are in Lima 4 star hotel, but we never have the same feeling and the trust which Terra Andina Hotel gave us.

The hotel is in a fantastic, quiet location in Cusco. The hotel is charming, the rooms comfortable, and the staff is helpful and kind. We appreciated being able to find a hotel room with 3 beds. We also appreciated the complimentary ride from Cusco airport to the hotel.

1. There was no internet in the room, even though promised trough the website. 2. Had to pay for water at breakfast. 3. We have stayed at a better hotel in Cusco with a balcony view and free water earlier for half the price. 4. The claimed balcony was just a big window. 5. Payed extra for a bigger room. Turned out to be an unlockable hallway outside our room. Not recomended by us.

We stayed at Terra Andina in Cusco 2x 3 nights during our 3 weeks trip to Peru in April/May 2012, first 3 nights before going to Machu Picchu, and then 3 nights on coming back. The hotel was chosen mainly from its location close to Plaza de Armas and the historic district of Cusco. We had a pleasant stay, the staff was charming and helpful and the rooms were cleaned every day and we enjoyed constant hot water both in the shower and the bathroom servant which is somewhat unusual in Peru's 3 star hotels. The hotel also kept some of our luggage in custody during our trip to Machu Picchu and when we returned, the luggage was already installed in the room.

Due to roadworks in the neighborhood, Taxis may have problems to arrive at the hotel door.

Good room rates, free airport pick-up or delivery, friendly staff, near all major squares and markets.

Hot water not always available, but luke warm water was always available. Most staff did not speak English and we barely spoke Spanish.
