Tierra Viva Arequipa Plaza    

I've now stayed at this brand's hotels in Arequipa and Puno. They are clones. The staff are very friendly and speak good English. They make sure at checkin to help you orientate yourself with a map. I was assisted with tour information. The rooms are all you could want, provided you are not insistent on searching for the boutique experience. If you want clean, friendly and reliable this is it.

The deco of the hotel is very nice. Clean and comfortable.

Pool n spa would make it better.

Clean, great decor, massive comfy beds, friendly staff and an excellent location! Perfect! We enjoyed it so much we changed our plans to stay in the Cusco branch of Tierra Viva (which was also excellent!)

Hotel was very nice, very good room, clean carpets. Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is 5 minute walk to main square and cathedral and other attractions. We booked a superior double and they gave us just a regular double but as soon as we brought it to their attention they moved us.

Stayed for 1 night at this hotel. We arrived 6 hours early for check-in but we were checked-in straight away -great service! Very large, spotless rooms. Beds were huge and very comfortable. Shower is great too! In a brilliant location to all the sights in lovely Arequipa. Very good breakfast, lots of choice.

I liked everything! It's spotlessly clean. Tastefully furnished. Staff is friendly and very helpful and speak English. Great location. Highly recommended. A wonderful Hotel.

There is absolutely nothing not to like!

1 block from the Plaza de Armas, very neat and clean, liked the room and the breakfast

extremely noisy in the street, no airconditioner so you have to open windows, some rooms are open to a patio and guess are poorly conditioned

Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Allowed for a room change during our 10 night stay. Breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, several kinds of sausage, cold cuts, yogurt, fresh juice and more. Close to Plaza de Armas and all sites.

Avoid room 203...bad odor of sewage, periodically. We switched to 213 and had a wonderful stay.

The room was very realxing, beautiful and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. Luxury towels, soap, schampoo and bodylotion. Love this place!

From the first moment we arrived the staff were attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable and quiet. We were unwell. The location of this hotel was very near the main plaza and close to good restaurants like Zig Zag, in a very safe area of town. We would definitely stay here again.

No room service. Cleansing products smelt very hard, like benzine. Too much noise in repairing labour. Too much cars noise in room next to street. Better, inside room.

The hotel cleanliness was excellent, staff was very efficient and helpful, and buffet breakfast was simple and easy.

If I wanted to say one thing was a negative was that tne inner rooms do not have windows, so not have any natural lighting was a bit negative.

Staff were very helpful. They arranged to meet us from cruz del sur bus stop. However the bus was late and there was nobody there. We called hotel and a very nice lady arranged a secure taxi for us and paid the charges. They help us arrange everything, we wanted to visit Puno so they arranged with there sister hotel there to meet us and they had their staff book our next bus to Cusco with Inka Express.

As with ALL other hotels in Arequipa, front rooms are a bit noisy due to the passion Arequipans (and Peruans in general) have for their car horn. If you mind the noise, try to get a room on the back.

Great location, 3 blocks from Plaza de Armas and the main attractions. Service is also excellent, but that applies to all Tierra Viva hotels. The airport pick up is included in price of the room.

Beautiful hotel, great location, clean, good shower, great breakfast.

We had to wait in the lounge for our bus and staff seemed a little annoyed since we had checked out already.

The room was very spacious and the breakfast room is inviting. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating for whatever was requested.

The bathroom we had was very narrow, however, the shower was excellent.
