very good location if you stay only for a day in cusco. the staff is very helpfull and friendly the hotel very charming. I would highly recommend the hotel to my friends
the matress is a little to hard to sleep comfortable
Customer Service and location was supreme.
Location is great , very close to the central plaza. Friendly staff who go out of their way to help Great rooms Good breakfast
staff and location
Such a charming place, everyone so helpful, very clean, breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed the tea available at check-in. Totally wonderful experience
The only negative ,at least for us was that the beds were too hard for our backs.
This placer is ver y well situated, lesd then one block away from the central plaza. The staff was always helpful and ver y detalles with explainations about food, drinking water (boiled water for backpack reservoir), altitudes sickness, and where exchange money, taxi services, and of course always a huge smile at all hours! They were always ready to answer all questions. Their suggestions were always great (restaurants, taxi prices, and directions to places!). In total, I would definitely stay with them again and recommend it! Some rooms were very colonial and with great decor. Breakfast good quality and a lot of choices, and for all tastes (coffee better quality), coca tea always available and ready. General areas comfy, nice, and cozy. Also cleanliness was incredibly good!
Some rooms might be a bit small, for some people.
I definitely loved the location - being so close to the square. Josa Luis provided great service - offering tea, carrying my bags to and from my room, Juan explaining every thing to me I.e. the area. The single room was clean and very chic.
Our room had a wonderful view over the terracotta rooftops of Cuzco, golden at sunrise and a show of fairy lights by night. So close to Plaza de Armes and close to every thing else too. Staff very helpful and friendly with good English, and helped my husband with oxygen even in the middle of the night. Jill and Simon
Noise from nearby disco may be a problem for light sleepers depending on room.
Very well situated, friendly staff and comfortable rooms.
At one minute walk from Cuzco main plaza. Staff very kind and helpfull
Very noisy and small rooms, lack of privacy as the only window of the room is in the internal courtyard
This hotel is located just round the corner of the central Plaza de Armas. It offers great comfort and a good value for money. For some chilly nights you have additional heaters in the rooms. Pickup service from the airport is included for free. Very friendly and helpful staff. And perfect breakfast ! Highly recommended.
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The hotel is a very short distance from the Plaza des Armas where you can visit many churches, shops, and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay at Tierra Viva Cusco Plaza and would not hesitate to stay there again.
The hotel was just next to the main square, so, it was very convenient and there were many police officers around. The hotel staff took good care of their guests. They are very warm and with full hospitality. I really enjoyed my stay there.
I have stayed twice separately for this travel. The rooms had no window, but this was usual with the houses in Cusco, I think.
Very close to Plaza Armas.
Lack of those white, sheer privacy curtains which do not block day light from coming into the room. All they had were the heavy drapes.
Great location very near the main square.
Incredibly loud music from neighbouring club prevented good sleep at the weekend. Room smelt damp.
Clean, comfortable and charming. Staff helpful and pleasant. Just off the main square with easy access. Good breakfast selection and nice area to eat in. Held our luggage both while we went to Machu Picchu and after checkout until we left for the airport.
Close to the plaza Great staff Good breakfast Very clean
This is a nice boutique hotel, walking distance from the main plaza with many restaurants and bars. I was suffering from altitude sickness and the staff was very helpful serving me cocoa tea and providing free oxygen. Breakfast is very nice and I would definitely recommend this property to stay at.
Except level 4 rooms no other room has a view. But that's also due to the fact the hotel is built on a hill with the 4 floor being on ground level.
Great breakfast, very helpful and friendly staff. Good location to explore Cusco and Machu Pichu. Good wifi.
Location, spacious room
Breakfast was poor and there are no lifts
Close to plaza de armas, healthy walk up To saksaywaman, great staff, good breakfast options, free wifi,
Night club close by so could hear music depending on location of room
Excellent Service Free Breakfast Buffet Coca Tea always available Clean Accomadating
Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely breakfast, mint tea, coffee and coca tea avialable 24 hours, nice decor.
Anyone who's been to Cusco will tell you how the Plaza de Armas is the heart of this quaint city. And this hotel is close, but not quite as close as mapping programs might show. This hotel is a couple hundred feet up the hill from the Plaza. A quick walk, unless the altitude is affecting you. It's a nice hotel with a good breakfast. We had 3 rooms and all were small, but nice. It's comprised of multiple buildings and you actually go down to the rooms from street level. Unusual, but fun
Our room got road noise because it backed up to the street, but the Inca wall was so appealing, we didn't care. We didn't mind no elevators, but some of our companions were huffing and puffing.
Very nice hotel in an excellent location, just a very short walk from the main plaza. The staff were brilliant, very helpful. We had a normal double for one night then superior double for two nights after visiting Machu Picchu. Both rooms were nice but if you like lots of space and are staying for a few nights, go for the superior!
Nothing - all good!
