With panoramic views of Ollantaytambo Sanctuary Iskay is built on original Inca terraces. Machu Picchu is a 30 minute car drive and Ollantaytambo Train Station is only half a mile away. Wi-Fi is free....

Located 100 metres from the train station and 500 metres from the main square, Wayras Hostal offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast in Ollantaytambo. The archeological park is 500 metres away.

Hotel Sol features brand new rooms in the historic Inca village of Ollantaytambo, facing the river Patacancha and at the gateway of Machu Picchu. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast are provided.
Score from 150 reviews Very good
They served a good breakfast with fresh fruit , toast and eggs, juice and coffee.
The sheets were torn, beds sagged into the middle.
Very beautiful boutique hotel, nice decoration. 5 minutes walk to the ruins.
The staff and the location of the hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean and the lodge itself is a beautiful quaint place. They were very flexible and easy going - allowed us to check in hours before scheduled check-in times and leave our backpacks overnight after we checked out and pick them up next day on our return from machchu pichu. They have a simple breakfast - nothing fancy but enough to get you fueled up for the day. I highly recommend their lodge if you are visiting ollyataytambo.
The staff was very courteous. Breakfast was fresh, simple, and nice. The hotel was very clean and located close to the train station. We felt very safe there. We definitely felt like we got our money's worth! Thank you.
Internet was DSL speed....Nothing over 1MB, but pretty fair for country like area. You can also hear almost everything people said; having said this, it didn't bother us because we were so exhausted with our excursions.
Very kind and humble people, providing excellent service in a real Inca village(pueblo Inca viviente).
Great staff and location. Clean and lovely setting.
The garden, location
Rooms are disappointing compared to the pictures on the site.
Good, quiet location. Close to the train station. Very flexible with the breakfast serving time. We needed to get up early to catch the train, but serving us breakfast before the official time was no problem.
Close to train station and ruins
My room was right in the middle of corridor where you can hear everything and everyone can look inside your room. Cold inside. The mentioned wi-fi is non-existing. I couldn't upload any site.
The personnel were wonderful--
Although our room was unusual (some if the old Incan walls), it was a bit noisy as we were close to the reception area and sone guests travel early to catch the train to Aguascalientes (for Machu Picchu).
Staff was friendly and helpful. Located just two blocks away from Ollantaytambo ruins.
WiFi did not work in the third floor rooms (were we stayed)
Helpful staff, nice place, quietly located in a secondary street away from the morning crowds but within walking distance of the train station.
Wi Fi was spotty but was not the hotel's fault as the city only has one antenna.
A wonderful and very clean place to stay in this very old colonial - Inca town. The staff was wonderful and the beds very comfortable. We traveled with our two college age boys who had their own room wonderful room. Excellent breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.
WiFi was very slow, but this was the case everywhere we went.
Super friendly personnel that accommodated all our wishes: Luggage parking, super-early breakfast (5:30am)- all was considered normal and no issue at all. Rooms were fantastic. Proximity to the train station, to Ollanta ruins and the city center a big plus.
WIFI was down while we stayed at the hotel.
Its a good location for Ollantaytambo. We only stayed one night and loved exploring all the back streets of the town. Hotel was clean and comfortable
just lacked a bit of atmosphere
Cozy, peaceful courtyard. Smiling helpful hosts. Bathroom was really nice.
I recommend this hotel to everyone.
Garden, very fresh breakfast
It's on a dusty street but don't let that affect you
very nice hotel, comfortable rooms and beds, good location in quiet place near sight
We loved the hotel's location - easy walking to the architectural site and around town. A small, friendly hotel with all the comforts you want to enjoy this fascinating town.
It was a perfect location to leave for Machu Pichu in the morning. A little oasis off the main street.
Room 207 was perfect for two adults and two children. Comfortable beds and plenty of warm water for showers. We were on the early train to Machu Picchu, and the staff voluntarily served breakfast earlier than scheduled. The inn is not on the main drag so nighttime noise is limited.
Wifi had some problems periodically but the staff fixed it as best they could.
Good value. Centrally located and very accommodating. Breakfast was adequate. Very quiet.
Street to the hotel was not accessible by car, therefore had to cart your luggage quiet a distance. No A/C, No Fans it could get warm in your room. Clean but not squeaky clean.
