The size of the hotel was intimate; the genuine care and attention by staff and owner; the service and friendliness; the sense of safety; the homey, almost like a bed and breakfast, atmosphere; the pickup and delivery service to and from the airport and downtown was included; breakfast was included and the eating area was bright and sunny; drinking water was available for filling water bottles and did not cost extra; they also had a connection with a travel company for area tours that were reasonably priced; I actually liked the location because with driving in and out of the main plaza area I saw more of Cuzco than I would have if I'd gotten a much more expensive hotel near the Plaza de Armas; if I'd been there another day or two, I would have made use of the rooftop sitting area; hot water and lots of tea options were always available on each floor's sitting area; safe in each room; I felt well-taken care of, almost like family :)

Wonderful staff!! Very accommodating and friendly!

Our family stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during our recent visit to Cusco/Machu Pichu. The front desk people are really friendly and extremely helpful. They provide free airport pick up and delivery service, which is really nice. They also provide free transportation service to the city center, which helps to ease any concern about its location. Overall our family enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would choose it again if we have chance to visit Cusco again. BTW, the trip to Cusco and Machu Pichu is well worth it.

The staff were exceptional!! I had severe altitude sickness when i was in Cusco & i needed to go to hospital for extra oxygen. The staff actually visited me in hospital a number of times to see how i was and if i needed any help. That sort of customer service is above and beyond what i had expected and i really appreciated it. I can't express how helpful the staff are, even driving you into the city, pick up/drop off into the airport and so on. The hotel has a very homely feel about it and they do a decent breakfast. Computers with printers are available too.

There was no TV in the room, however there are common areas with TV's and computers available. No lunch or dinner options at the hotel. Although if you asked i'm sure they would make you something.

We had a wonderful time here. The staff are what makes this hotel they go out of their way to make everything go as smoothly as possible. Nice quiet location, great breakfast and lovely clean rooms.

The hotel staff and owner were VERY kind and helpful with anything needed. very easy to communicate with and make plans through hotel before i even arrived as well as while i was there already. comfortable bed, hot water for shower and hot tea always available. 24 hr driver also available.

The staff was very accomodating and made any necessary arrangements needed. They were easy to communictae with via email prior to our trip and even assisted during our trip in between our stay at the hotel. The location is not ideal but their free car service made everything very convenient and it posed no issue at all as they dropped you off and picked you up whenever necessary. Overall for the price I would highly recommend this hotel.

A little noisy at night time, dogs barking outside woke us up on occasion.

What the Torre Dorada lacked in size was certainly made up for in it's stellar customer service. The friendliness of the staff and the immaculate nature of the hotel was simply impeccable. My son and I agree that we would absolutely stay there again if the opportunity arises. Second to none.

My son and I both agreed there should have been a tv in the room, but, given the small nature of the hotel and closeness of the rooms everyone there would be competing with the volume. Furthermore, there was so much to see in Cusco that we were too exhausted at the end of the day to watch tv.

The hands-on owner and her entire staff give outstanding service: travel advice, purchase of tickets, reconfirmation of reservations...nothing seems too much trouble. The 24 hour in-house driving service (and drivers like Mario) deserve special mention for their professional approach, making travel stress free. The breakfast cook even remembers how you like your eggs. Rooms comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well equipped, but it's the service and attitude that set this place apart.

Its location less than ideal. In a middle class suburb a long, up-hill walk to the city center (at high altitude). The driving service means this isn't really a problem, but it's not the sort of location you can stroll around and find everything on your doorstep. Because tourist activities start early in Cusco, it would be nice if the breakfast was served from say 6 am. If you're going to miss breakfast, they will send you a packed meal (that great service again), but it's not the same as a hot breakfast to start the day.

Hotel staff is 5star. Facility is decent. Service oriented.

Location is far from plaza but free taxi service!!!!

Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and very helpful. A driver was included for the short trip into central Cusco. Breakfast was terrific Staff arrange to have our laundry done and beautifully folded for about $4 per kilo. Tops in every way!

I loved the incredibly warm welcome we received from the staff, who were really willing to go to any lengths to make us feel at home and enjoy our stay.

Top notch service from the staff, hard to beat it, has set the bar high for us. All the staff and the owner were very friendly, they go out of their way to ensure you're looked after. Highly recommend for tours around Cusco and Machu Picchu, you'll surely be in good hands.

Probably just the location but their free and always ready shuttle services to the city more than makes up for it

The staff were professional and extremely helpfull. Free 24hr taxi to and from the city centre was reassuring as this was our first trip to Cusco. Pick up and drop off to airport was also oncluded. Hotel was immaculate and breakfast varied and delicious. Free tea available in the common room of each floor was convienient and very welcome. Would definately stay again, funds permitting.

O serviço de transporte de bagagens do trem ao hotel é realmente um diferencial que vale ser levado em conta.

Os serviços oferecidos pelo hotel são excelentes. A equipe se preocupa com todos os detalhes para que a estadia e os tours sejam realizados da melhor forma possível. Nos buscaram no aeroporto, passaram no hotel para que deixássemos as nossas bagagens, tomamos o café da manhã e já nos levaram para encontrar o ônibus que nos levaria para o tour no valle Sagrado. No dia seguinte nos levaram até Poroy para pegarmos o trem para machu picchu com direito a uma sacola com o nosso café da manhã. Além disso, compraram todos os tickets que íamos precisar e não precisamos nos preocupar com nada! Você envia um e-mail pedindo o que vai querer visitar e eles preparam tudo!

El personal es increíblemente amable. Si bien la ubicación no es en el centro el transporte es espectacular y se agradece la tranquilidad del área donde esta ubicado. Las instalaciones son muy adecuadas y el desayuno muy bueno, especialmente te preparan los huevos en el momento y como a ti te guste.

O Hotel Torre Dorada foi um dos Hotéis mais maravilhosos q já me hospedei. Eles conseguem deixar os hospedes sentindo-se em casa. Eles dão toda a assistência que os viajantes precisam quando viajam para um lugar desconhecido, desde os passeios quanto a comodidade de levar você até eles. São muitos elogios a serem feitos.
