The family is very friendly. Place is very clean and comfortable. Close too airport
Far from Papeete unfortunately. But you cannot be chose to airport and Papeete in the same time...
Hospitality, free airport transfers, clean..
A bit secluded in a private hillside neighborhood
Friendly family Breakfast 10min distance from airport
20min waiting for transport on airport Big bugs in bathroom
They had free shuttle service to and from airport. We were received at the airport with a lei of fresh flowers. A beautiful detail. Yummy homemade jams with our free continental locals breakfast. :)
Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful people, pickup/dropoff to port and airport. Great value!
The staff were excellent, very friendly and pleasant to meet with. we were transferring through Papeete for one night and stayed at Farehau. We got picked up and left off at the airport which was excellent and they had no complaints with getting up a little earlier to leave us to the Airport at 6am.
airport pickup. presented with beautiful perfumed leis. value for money, wonderful view while enjoying nice breakfast with homemade jams.they provided transport to city centre 1/4 of taxi fare. very friendly and offers of tourist advice and help. would stay there again
prefer ensuite, however the shared bathroom did not present a problem. other couples arrived later than us, so we were disturbed.
We loved the time spent in this lovely B&B. We enjoyed the very personal service from the owners who run it as a family business. They helped us with transportation to and from the airport, even greeting us with beautiful leis. The breakfasts were fine. We loved the island tour, again very personal service. The location near the airport was great. Sunsets from the deck were wonderful. It was also great to be taken to the grocery store so we could prepare dinner for ourselves "at home" to enjoy with the sunsets.
The only problem was that the shower heads needed some repair.
Outstanding hosts!!! Anita and daughter made our short stay perfect, very courteous. I would recommend this guest house to anyone who is visiting Papeete for a while or in transit to/ from airport, Thanks a lot!!
Our stay was too short!!!
Exceptionally friendly staff and very accommodating to specific requirements: essentially provided a very reasonably priced taxi service and were happy for us to sit on the patio after checkout time whilst waiting to board our ship. The informal and informative day trip around Tahiti Nui allowed us to at least get a feel for the island when only there for a day.
A little more guidance on what we were able to use in the kitchen, eg coffee, milk. I think the kitchen and fridge were entirely at our disposal but we would have preferred it to have been clearer. Really we should just have asked!
The staffs eagerness to appease the guest. The staff drove us to a restaurant for dinner and picked us up at the requested time. The room and bathroom was roomy and clean. They had a huge living room and balcony you could lounge around in while using your internet.
The place was not close to a airport or beach. However this was o.k because our stay was only a stop over before our flight.
airport pickup worked perfectly, the owners are extremely friendly people and are trying everything to make it a nice stay even if it is a very small private accommodation. Nice to be so close to the airport if you use Farehau only for a stopover.
BIt far away from the town, if you stay in Faaa for more then a day the accommodation might not be the best. Most important for me was the room: Extremely tiny, probably 4 sqm or even less. More a lumber room than a place to sleep. One youth hostel style bunk bed with bad mattress fills the room. I was extremely tired after a 40 hour flight but without that there would have been no way to sleep. And you can't see that on the pics provided. Make sure that you are not getting this room. Haven´t seen the other rooms but this is a no go.
Warm welcome at the airport with leis, short drive to accommodation, room comfortable with private bathroom and aircon, breakfast on the terrace in the morning, lift to ferry (for small extra cost)
Not that we didn't like it, but just so people know, it is an intimate setting, sort of like arriving at someone's home with bedrooms off a central lounge room and kitchen. Not the place for people that want anonymity, but the people were very friendly and helpful and made us feel comfortable.
Location is great for a short stopover or few days stsy. The owners and daughter are fantastically helpful, including free pick ups and drop offs at airport, and an amazing full island tour which gave french and english speakers alike a feel for the history and landmarks and politics of Papeete. With lunch included... fabulous!
Could have stayed longer but probably would get a hirecar as is not really walking distance to anywhere. Roosters in surrounding village provide an early wake up, but definately part of the ambience.
Location, cleanliness, warmth, price, free transfer. Everything! Anita and her daughter are simply great!
Welcome and view Willingness to take me where i needed to go Comfortable bed Silent A/C Fully operational shower The sounds of cockerels
We stayed at room Moana with bathroom and shower facilities, wardrobe, very clean room and comfortable bed, and a huge balcony with mountain view, and one more thing: free airport transfer, very very nice owner
have to leave to Moorea just after one night, can't stay longer
We stayed only one night after a late arrival. Very comfortable place and the sweetest hostst ever.
Free airport transfers, friendly staff, clean rooms, lush breakfast which is included.
Wonderfully gracious and friendly hosts
The owners of this property were extremely helpful and welcoming. They picked us up at the airport late at night and dropped us off the next morning for our flight to Bora Bora. The house was a very short drive from the airport. The room was clean and comfortable. A light breakfast was provided. We sat on the lanai overlooking the island of Moorea. It was a great view to start the day with!
1) The view is amazing - clear shot of Moorea and the sunset. 2) You feel like you are staying as a guest in someone's house and not staying in a faceless, sterile hotel 3) They are very willing to help arrange rides down to the airport and to the city.
The hosts were lovely people. Great breakfast and a very welcome drop off at the ferry terminal afterwards. You pay a bit extra for the drop off but its a great service considering where their pension is in Papeete.
Too much dog and rooster noise at night time. We are used to that sort of noise but this was shocking my husband did not sleep all night.
Perfect for an overnight stay close to the airport. Owners were amazing
