view from #7 bungalow; nice decor; well laid out w/very well-equipped kitchen w/coffeemaker, teapot, knives, pots and pans; staff; clean, sand entry beach and sparkling if small pool; central location; proximity to motus, rentals, reef tours at Le Tipinier at 1/2 the cost; best beach and location of three places we stayed (Kaveka, Linerva). Can do and see it all from here!

only negative: restaurant service slow w/attitude, expensive and iffy; chicken truly awful

This is a lovely place to stay. The people who own it are lovely and all the staff were great. This is a lovely friendly relaxed place to stay and great for all water sports. We stayed in a basic hut which had all you needed in it. But for 4 nights we upgraded to the superior hut right at the front of the lagoon. Thus hut has just been done up and is really beautiful we loved it.We had beautiful flowers in the room to greet us. Just a delight. Would highly recommend this superior hut.Best pizza's we have ever tasted at the Hibiscus restaurant.Stunning sunsets.

Take your insect lotion as you will need it all around Tahiti. This was not a problem though as we were prepared.

It was very dirty. There was chickens and cats running around. We were going to eat the breakfast they offered and they wanted to charge 25 us dollars for scrambled eggs that were sitting in water and cats climbing on the tables drinking out of cups! We were so disgusted after we had already gotten a juice, coffee, and 2 pieces of toast we got up to pay for that and it was $13! We didn't even touch our drinks or toast we were so sick to our stomaches! There was Flys all over the food! It was the most disgusting place I've ever seen! The maids use old shopping carts for there towels, sheets and garbage to clean the rooms, that tells you how classy the Hibiscus is. We only stayed there because every other hotel was booked for the one night we needed. I do t recommend any one staying here, it was pretty shady!

The bungalow was big and nicely decorated. Good mosquito net, convenient kitchenette. Great water pressure on the tap & drinkable water. I loved Restaurant Sunset (best food in Polynesia) and the close supermarket.

Free WiFi would be the cream on top.
