Linereva was comfortable. We enjoyed the kayaks and the sharks at the end of the pontoon.

WiFi was spotty in our end unit.

Great location on quieter side of island, nice rooms and pier

Excellent but a little dated. Don't expect 5 star resort and you'll be pleased.

Helpful staff, spacious well-appointed studio units with good kitchenette. Safe in room but operated with key and office unattended 12 to 3 so leaving key on beach or in a car

Very deceptive advertising - main picture shows turquoise lagoon which is 10 kms away - unable to access beach there unless you stay in a waterfront hotel so couldnt even visit. Water off Linavera was murky most days with 2 metres visibility (mangroves not far away) and when clear you could see sharks. Nearest shop 1.5km, restaurants further so had to rent a car making an expensive option even more expensive. Wasps nests on verandah Room safe is key operated and office unattended 12 to 3 so have to leave key on beach or in a car when snorkelling - code would be better.

The location was laid back and seeing the sharks was great. We went diving locally and the pizza restaurant down the road was excellent. We hired a car for one day to see the island.

The room we stayed in was a bit dated and the toilets are in a separate block just outside the front door but well maintained.

Peaceful location and very friendly staff. No pool but excellent swimming and snorkeling off pier. Masks, fins, bikes and beach towels free.

A bit isolated. Airport transfers expensive. Dinner is available but only if booked by 11AM and we arrived late. It would have been helpful if this was made clear at the time of booking.

Lovely location with excellent swimming! The owners and the staff make every effort to make you feel at home away from home. The shark feeding in the evening is spectacular. Would come back any time!

Loved the laid back atmosphere and the nearness to a very good "magasin" and Pizza Daniel. Melina and Maurice answered any of our queries and solved any of our problems happily and hastily. We love Linareva and hope to return some day!

Public transportation leaves a lot to be desired!!

Shark feeding was a wonderful daily event, good opportunity to mix with other guests. Loved the setting - magic. Included bikes, kayaks and outrigger to borrow. Very helpful owner.

Rather remote from cafes and restaurants, but this was more than compensated for by a feeling of peacefulness and size of the resort - not crowds of other tourists.

Could not have been better! So much better than a resort. The owners very helpful. Free use of kayaks, snorkeling equipment, bicycles. Easy entry to water from the pier and shark feeding at 5 p.m. most days

Few nearby restaurants, but you can bicycle easily for pizza and small grocery store. We brought freeze dried meals and cooked in our unit.

After travelling for 9 months this was exactly what we needed. Lovely friendly and interesting hosts, beautiful surroundings, the sea, the fish, the view, the gorgeous gardens. The room was very spacious and clean with a useful kitchenette. Aircon was an added bonus. The owners provide so many free extras such as bicycles, canoes, picnic area, snorkelling equipment which is great to watch the corals and even (friendly) sharks. I wish there more places like this. Beats a 5 star hotel any time. It was hard to leave!

    Hard to fault anything!

Our favourite place while in French Polynesia. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are cleans and spacious. There is a full kitchen in the room and few barbecues around the garden. Beach is sandy and clean. The best thing about this place is the jetty: you can walk all the way to the end and guess what's there: 5 sharks waiting for you. We didn't know what to do if have a dip in the sea with them or not. I asked the owner twice and than I went snorkelling. Was one of the best experience in my life: hundreds of fishes running around and 5 sharks swimming beside me. Wish we have stayed longer.

    All was perfect.

Proprietors Edmee and Roland were very friendly and helpful in arranging activities and in making us feel very welcome. We received an upgrade to accomodation directly on the beach. Breakfasts and evening meals at an extra cost were very good value, as were the drinks available on an honour system. We would recommend Linareva to anyone seeking the beauty and natural attractions of Moorea.

    Having to leave...

    Location, cleanliness, views, peace

Unfriendly reception, you felt like just another tourist, drinking water not included, unable to swim as sharks being fed in main swimming spot. Lack of involvement of Tahitian people
