WiFi was poor and there were intermittent phone outages. I had to visit other nearby resorts to use their phones.
Gracious staff, especially Teuru at the front desk.

King bed was 2 double beds put together. Room wreaked of strong chemicals which made it hard to sleep. No face cloths. The resort says they use hand towels instead.
Awesome ocean front balcony view.Really good snorkeling beachfront and around OWBs Very friendly and helpful staff.

pricy wifi for private rooms. No swimming pool.
Clean fabulous facilities, nice staffs, good location for foods, restaurants, markets.

The Wi-Fi did not work very well in the room so we had to use the hotel lobby Wi-Fi.
We loved the overwater bungalow situated above the coral. Most of the other hotel bungalows are situated over the sand so you don't get to see very many fish. It was a very pleasant place to stay and we will definitely stay there again.

Location, excellent staff, always helpful; special mentionning of Alice the receptionist-very sunny girl!

Not very impressed with the breakfast. Poor selection of items and the buffet was not very clean (full of flies on the fruit and bread)

The beach restaurant is good, but fairly expensive (as everything else on the island). WiFi 500 CFP (€4) for 30 mins.
The Maitai, overlooking the turquoise lagoon around Matira Point, has overwater bungalows and more reasonably priced rooms on the hill at the back. There are supermarkets and a few resorts nearby, but nothing much else, but on Bora Bora you don’t really need much else - just enjoy the colours, the views, the marine life, the sunsets, the flowers, the people.

As everything in Bora-Bora a bit pricey.
Nice facilities, very good beach, beach-bungalows are comfortable and have all what you need, clean and well maintained. Beautiful sun-rise. Good restaurants.

This is an honest place -- nice, but somewhat tired. Definitely not a four-star establishment. It makes an impression of a super luxury hotel in the GDR in the end of the eighties. Be ready to pay almost 10 euros per hour for the use of internet.
The staff of the hotel are wonderful -- extremely friendly and helpful people.

Some of the staff were not a friendly as they could have been and if you had a special request there seemed to be a lack of communication understanding.
The location was great and the food in the restaurant was very good. Much better that at the Intercontinental Thalasso where we moved to after our stay at the Maitai.

The beach side restaurant was a bit hit and miss with the staff not being very helpful or particularly attentive and running out of gas one evening and not being able to cook. However the deputy manager was really helpful in finding an alternative for us
We particularly enjoyed the lobby bar, very intimate, cosy with a traditional feel and great staff.

Not free internet
Beautiful bungalov, nice place in beach, super swiming.
