On an unspoiled tropical beach with no road access, Le Méridien offers views out over Bora Bora Lagoon to Mount Otemanu.
Score from 31 reviews Excellent
Nice facilities, very good beach, beach-bungalows are comfortable and have all what you need, clean and well maintained. Beautiful sun-rise. Good restaurants.
As everything in Bora-Bora a bit pricey.
The staff of the hotel are wonderful -- extremely friendly and helpful people.
This is an honest place -- nice, but somewhat tired. Definitely not a four-star establishment. It makes an impression of a super luxury hotel in the GDR in the end of the eighties. Be ready to pay almost 10 euros per hour for the use of internet.
The location was great and the food in the restaurant was very good. Much better that at the Intercontinental Thalasso where we moved to after our stay at the Maitai.
Some of the staff were not a friendly as they could have been and if you had a special request there seemed to be a lack of communication understanding.
We particularly enjoyed the lobby bar, very intimate, cosy with a traditional feel and great staff.
The beach side restaurant was a bit hit and miss with the staff not being very helpful or particularly attentive and running out of gas one evening and not being able to cook. However the deputy manager was really helpful in finding an alternative for us
Beautiful bungalov, nice place in beach, super swiming.
Not free internet
Wonderful surroundings. Hotel was very well Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great coral reef just a short paddle from the hotel. Free access to snorkeling equipment and canoes. Ocean view from the room was just amazing.
Internet connection was expensive and not working on all mobile devices (Windows Phone).
Good choice of excursions Close to Matira beach
Main restaurant not very welcoming
Great room with awesome view, we had the room overlooking the lagoon, not over water. value for money was great.
The lagoon was murky in it's location.
The location was great as were the staff. The beach was good to snorkel from but do have water shoes as the coral can hurt!
No free internet! This day and age in all hotels it should be free or certainly cheaper than here! In the restaurant beach bar the lamb chops were inedable! We did however have good meals there on other occasions!
Good location on the mainland. Good deal through booking.com. Quite good srip of sand as a beach. Still, it's quite good option, relatively not so expensive in comparison to others, especially to the luxurious OBs on the motus.
Generally, everything is overpriced, starting with pick up by bus (about which we learned accidentally) and drop off which is more expensive than official taxi rate even. Price for internet is also V.high. Staff is very slow. Even after the prolongation of our stay, our card to the room was not working already from the early morning, even though we confirmed the booking several times. We prolonged our stay twice and each next time card to the room was not working! What a waste of time! The staff did not inform us also about availability of free kayaks. We learned about it from the next hotel !!! Tours sold by hotel (and bikes rented) are also overprised. It's possible to get them cheaper from other places. Noticed old bed and barbeque... Under the water close to one of the over-water bungalow of the hotel!
Great helpful staff, good food in two restaurants, on the beach, reef fish within 5m of land, bikes for hire.
The wifi is poor, and not available in most rooms.
