“ This is just a perfect location to transit from or to the airport or to other islands of the archipel, at very affordable price. It is close to a beach and a commercial center by foot. Compared to hotel prices, this family resort is a bargain. ”

Family friendly property. Very helpful. Good location on the bus line. Rouletts across the street. Close to Le Meridian Luxury Hotel. Short distance to a shopping center and a market. Untimely bus service. Traffic noise eary in the morning. Lots of traffic. You take your life in your hands to cross the street.

All the rest. Far away from the beach (La Plage.) The title of the hotel is misleading. Far away from the city.

Vincent and his wife are wonderful hosts. They are very helpful in directions, times frames, stores, etc. I would definitely recommend their pension to anyone staying on Tahiti that wants to be out of the city. My only complaint is the beds are hard. But in their defense they are not the only pension with hard beds.

Nothing The room is in desperate need of renovation. The bed was the worst mattress we ever slept on. Everything had an additional charge. Ie we were told not to drink the tap water and no water was provided for us. The owner charged 400 francs for 1.5 l water and at the gas station store we paid 100 francs. The kitchenette was a hot plate and microwave. No coffee supplied. The pool area was the nicest part of this place. Do not recommend this place at all. Charges for WiFi. No satellite tv only French channels which does not help English only speaking clients.

Staff extremely accomodating. Close to shopping center containing reasonable sandwiches at Java Express, grocery store. Some jewelry stores that carry distinctive pearl jewelry. Easy access to Papeete. Crepes across street in evening. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Verandah, pool, front and back door, garden, nearness to beach-front and grocery store Written instructions would help for the stove-top. More towels would be an asset.

Despite being a moderate price accommodation, the Pension provided an air of luxury by capitalising on the natural beauty of its garden. All rooms face onto the central courtyard with its pool and common eating area (where breakfast is served), but privacy is well maintained by use of flowering hedges and screens. The owners and staff are very friendly. Although language can present a challenge for non-French speaking visitors, the personnel here make every effort to assist in clear communication. I found some of the prices for additional service--such as laundry--to be on the high side.

Vincent, the manager and recepcionist of this hotel, really made a difference during my stay. Always helpful, always worried with my concerns, always so efficient when solving my problems. I have to say that I have several problems when traveling to Tahiti (flight delayed 8 hours, unaware about the island pros and cons, ...). Vincent allowed me to check-in earlier, cancelled my first night right away, helped me to hire a tour (which was very good indeed), offered me snorkel material and towels, looked for a taxi to and from the airport at an attractive rate, .... In general, one of my best stays ever! I felt like at home in Pension De La Plage. Breakfast can be improved. They charge around 15 euros if you request to use the air conditioning, which I found it ridiculous.

It was lovely being there and oh, such a nice change. It is so peaceful and relaxing. I loved it. Locked gate security at night for the car. It is a bit remote if relying on public transport or taxis and too far to walk into town.

This is just a perfect location to transit from or to the airport or to other islands of the archipel, at very affordable price. It is close to a beach and a commercial center by foot. Compared to hotel prices, this family resort is a bargain. Beside the cleanness of the rooms, the beds are comfy, you also have access to a terrace where you can eat, with a view on a pool and a small garden. The whole place diffuse harmonious energy, very relaxing. You can also ask for a breakfast meal or diner, so practical if you are on a run. But, above all, the bonus of this place is the impeccable and kindness of the owners, they give you great tips, guidance, and services to facilitate your stay, with really sincere devotion. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for true value. A little bit close to a main street, so at rush hours you may hear the traffic a bit more.

The hotel is great value for money. The room was very spacious and had a kitchenette so you didn't need to eat out every meal. Vincent and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast on offer each day is quite nice. The beach is nearby. If you're looking for a value-friendly place to stay in Tahiti, I would highly recommend Pesion de la Plage.

Pension De La Plage is a great little hotel outside of Papeete near the beach. You only have to walk 10 minutes to get to the public beach. The room I was in had a little kitchenette so you could easily prepare all your food there. The hotel also provided a nice little breakfast for those who wanted it. If you don't want to stay at a big, fancy luxury resort (at those prices), this is a great place to stay.
