Very friendly helpful staff Attractive gardens
Tiny pool with no chairs or sunloungers around it. Locked gate to black sand beach - again no chairs or loungers and rubbish on the beach. No porters to carry luggage to rooms No bottled water in rooms Fly screens in rooms all damaged so let in mosquitoes.

The price of the hotel should have lots of more benefits
The warm welcome by Yasmina. The restaurant, while pricey, is wonderful at night and the food was delicious.
The pool area was kind of neglected and only had a few chairs.
We did not spend the night and I was really happy about that. The grounds are impeccably maintained. Staff is very accommodating and friendly.
The rooms and eapecially the shower and Bathrooms are not up to par. I reacted to the mold in the room. The small swimming needs cleaning. There were only 4 Lounge chairs.
Hard to know where to start - mould and broken drawers in cupboard - room smelt of damp - broken tiles on verandah and furniture covered in dust dirt leaves and mould - acroprops on verandah for roof repair that we were not advised was happening or that workers would be drilling on at 730am the next morning - restaurant served up a steak that was 80% jelly with fat and when we advised staff no concern at all Needless to say we left the next morning
Clean bedding, clean bathroom, good refrigerator, good AC, location outside of downtown. Housekeeping seemed to be the best staff. Restaurant gets passing marks.
Reception desk not helpful, many broken and missing tiles on walkways and rotten wooden hand railings, lots of dropped leaves all over steps not cleaned for several days, heavy duty construction with banging and hammering all day long two rooms away for days, little maintenance of facility for many years, all French television and no music/radio, no access to beach, gates locked with padlocks, mosquito spraying noise at 6:00 AM, leaf blowers at 7:00 am, very expensive dining room, no working ice machine near rooms (could walk 100 yards to bar for ice), no room safe, same towels all five days, could not block out light from parking lot at night, pot holes in parking lot, standing water on second floor balcony where AC drains, needs new management.
Loved the location. The site is beautiful. I really thought the staff in the hotel was great. The 60's architecture was really cool. The bed and sheets were very comfortable.
The hotel is in bad shape. Many things are not working properly and need to be replaced or upgraded. The rooms would be so cool if they repainted, added new fabrics. The restaurant has awesome food but the staff was unfriendly.
