Everyone was I spoke to was so gracious and open. I didn't have a single issue. The room was spacious and neat. It was a very quaint and modern hotel in general. I didn't hear much outside noise. All of the electronics worked wonderfully. It was nice to be able to connect my music player with ease to the TV.
Very spacious room Close to city center Free late check-out Friendly staff
Hotel Sarah Nui is an excellent place to stay if your trying to stay within your budget. Staffs are friendly and keeps up with cleaning, maintaining your room and facilities. Breakfast is served there but with a fee. I haven't tried it so I can't say if it's worth the cost. I was there to vacation and spend. So Saying at this hotel was perfect for us cuz we did not rent a car. The location was close to everything. We walked everywhere in Papeete such as the market, pearl museum, local groceries, the bank when in need of cash, including the ferry terminal when we visit moorea for a day. Price was reasonable for the amount of days we spent there(1wk). Wifi is also free.
Friendly, helpful staff. Short walk to ferry, bars, roulottes and market. Clean, comfortable rooms. Excellent choice for our one night stay prior to and on return from a week on Moorea.
the rooms were very nice and large and liked the finishes in them. very comfortable. very nice. above what was expected.
we stayed their two nights a week apart, as we were on a cruise in between our stays at the hotel. didn't like that we booked the hotel to hold luggage and so we could shower during the day, we did not plan on staying the night. we told them at the desk while checking in that we would be out midday, and if they wanted could rent the room to someone else because we wouldn't be staying as we had an 11:30 PM red eye flight. so,my husband must have booked with two guests that night we weren't staying and they made us pay for our two children as extra charges …. for the one room (4 people instead of 2).
Quite, very good location close to the center of town and really close to the ferry terminal. it is good value for money in papeete and the standard bedroom was really big with a fantastic shower and comfortable beds, very nice.
There is nothing near the hotel so we had to go out and walk even for a coffe or to eat something but if you stay just two nights this is not a big deal, but we stayed for 6 nights.
Super-friendly staff, who upgraded our room without us asking. They insisted on helping us with our luggage, and were very happy to help direct us to local amenities. The room was spotless, with good curtains (handy when travelling with a baby), and very comfortable.
The ONLY downside is the location. It's just outside of town, so only a short walk to everything, but in an industrial area. It didn't feel particularly safe at night, and it just seemed a bit sad to be surrounded by concrete and steel while in Tahiti. A plus for ferry travellers is it's quite close to the terminal (you could walk so long as your bags aren't horribly heavy).
Used this hotel on both ends of a Tahiti cruise in order to be in time with our air transportatipon. Very clean, staff helpful, just what we wanted.
No ,pool. No restaurant (several in walking distance).
Views of Moorea and good value continental breakfast. Very kind and professional front desk and staff.
Curtains as they were flimsy and awkward.there was no ventilation in bathroom.
Good service, good value for monet
Rooms individually decorated for complete comfort. Plenty of space to spread out bags and shopping.
The first time I went I had a great room. It could not have been better but the second time not so good and a couple of little problems
Location, price, meet and greet at the airport, room upgrade for no cost.
Even it is close to the boulevard, at the begginning of the way is dark and lonely so my wife and I didn't feel safe to walk around it. We took a Taxi and it was very expensive.
It was within walking distance to ferry terminal and to get food. The room was large and quite clean.
A promise of WiFi and not being able to connect, then the lack of interest from the staff who virtually shrugged and said "not my fault". We had recieved news of a family death and had to make arrangements, but because of a lack of interest from the staff it was impossible. We were trying to explain to one staff members who was asleep at the desk but all he was interested in was telling us how he had been up all night with a relation with an injury to his finger?? The booking we had printed off gave us information that there was a free shuttle from the airport... we phoned and there was no reply, on paying for a taxi and arriving, we were told the phone number given on the booking sheet was wrong??? I am staggered that in the room there were 3 old mismatched chipped plates, 3 old forks, 2 even older knives and a couple of teaspoons, and 2 tiny chipped cups and saucers. This is an old property but with a little care and attention it could be at the very least bought up to a decent standard for tourists...all this type of place is doing is leaving a bitter taste and giving Tahiti an even worse name for being expensive and shabby in Papeete which is the gateway to their tourist area.
I checked in late and the concierge was there and a security guard took me to my room. They were very helpful about how to get around town and provided me with a ferry schedule. Highly recommended.
Good location for an island transfer stop over. Try the night food markets just a ten minute walk into the city, even open Sundays.
It was fine. That is the the most positive thing I can say about it.
The pictures were extremely deceptive. I emailed the staff numerous times ahead of time and never heard any response.
With a little distance to the city centre this is a perfect hotel. Very recommanded. Jean Marie
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was good for the ferry terminal (10 min walk).
The location was in an industrial part of town and didn't feel very safe at night.
Rooms are nice, no filthy carpets or the like. Batthroom also clean and nice. Hotel looks aweful form the outside but inside it is nice. Staff was friendly and smiled. Nothing better than smiles!
Breakfast only continental and expensive. Wifi very weak signals, almost unusable. Room very bad isolated to the outside and therefore very very noisy. Get a room facing away form the larger road.
The condition of the building and rooms were great for the price and it was super close to the Ferry and Airport along with a couple of restaurants right down the street. I would recommend this place for anyone needing to stay overnight in Papeete for a flight! The staff was great and super friendly and they have free WiFi, unlike the resorts. It has A/C, T.V. and a Fridge.
The "Queen" bed is actually two Twin beds pushed together.
Stayed here the day was got off our boat. Convenient to the pier. Very close to shopping and restaurants. Left our luggage and spent the day shopping. Came back for showers and to get ready for long flight home. Wifi was great after being without for a week. Staff was friendly and helpful. We mentioned we'd need a taxi to airport...they arranged everything for us even without us requesting it. We left that evening. They were very accommodating of our daytime stay!
Maybe one block outside a perfectly safe area after dark?
Great location when travelling to the islands and close to food vans and restaruants.
The room was too dark. Tiny lights in the room did not provide anywhere near enough lighting. Physical location of hotel was good, but the surroundings weren't. The window drapes were closed so as to not accentuate the fact that the area was not the best.
Staff were excellent. Price was good. One breakfast was included the 2nd paid for. The manager upgraded us to the executive level with a patio and view of the harbor. WOW!
Location very convenient, but would not have felt comfortable as a single traveller.
