Just 5 minutes’ drive from Faa'a International Airport, Océane Lodge Tahiti offers free breakfast each morning. Guests have access to a common TV room and a shared kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove. Le Lodge Oceane is just 100 metres from the lagoon and less than 10 minutes’ drive from the University of French Polynesia. There is a bus stop 50 metres away and it is a 5-minute bus ride to nearby beaches. The on-site restaurant serves French and Tahitian cuisine on the weekends with regular BBQs in the evenings. The friendly staff can speak English, French, Tahitian and Spanish and have a good understanding of Italian and German. All rooms include air conditioning and hot water. Free luggage storage and a safety deposit box are available. Laundry facilities are available at an additional cost. Rooms are clean and beds good. Price is inexpensive for Tahiti. This is one step up from a backpacker's hotel. Bus close by. Note that there is no on-site restaurant. There is a magasin not too far away at which one can buy most everything. No BBQs. And I don't recall seeing any A/C. No one speaks anything but Tahitian and French. But the people are very good. Also, there is no WiFi. Notwithstanding that, I recommend it.

House was empty on arrival (apart from cats & insects) with no instructions as to which room to take. We had to find bed linen & make our own bed. No ac that we had paid for. I would like a refund please.

At arrival, the owner did not know about our booking.shebrought us to a room, nice ensuite room with tv, then I showed her my booking and she brought us to the dorm room that we booked, but the lights did not work in that room, so she brought us to our first room again.i made sure that we did not want to pay mor than agreed on www.booking.com.the room was fine, few cockroaches,not so clean.the owner is really friendly, she made an excellent breakfast.

La personne qui nous a reçu Que booking.com puisse présenter à la vente un tel établissement aussi horrible, sale, photos non contractuelles, pas d'internet, climatisation hors service, et j'en passe. S'il vous plait pour le bien des autres clients potentiels, et de votre retirez le de votre liste. Un grand merci.

Rien!!! Hotel introuvable, dans une impasse coupe gorge. Et d ailleurs ce n est pas un hotel, c est une chambre chez une dame!! Pas de réception, pas de lavabo, douche commune dans un état deplorable, ménage dans la chambre inexistant! La pire chambre en 3 mois de tour du monde!! N y allez pas!!

La gentilezza della signora che ci ha ricevuto anche se non sapeva del nostro arrivo poiché li non c'e un collegamento internet! La difficolta nel raggiungere il posto che e lontano da Papeete e il fatto di prenotare online un albergo che non ha alcuna connessione internet!

rien Confort très restreint, dans la salle de bains, pas de glace, pas de lavabo, salle de bains à part de la chambre. Hôtel difficile de trouver et enseigne illisible. Qualité prix, cet hôtel ne correspond pas du tout aux prestations offertes. Hôtel à déconseillé.

Rien rien rien rien hotel vide sale pas de hall d'entree personne a l accueuil pas de panneau indiquant sa presence dans une impasse lugubre et pas eclairee surtout ne pas y aller surtout ne pas y aller Surtout ne pas y aller.hotel inexistant.hotel perdu dans une impasse lugubre et pas eclairee.pas de hall d entree.pas de toilette en etat de marche.douche tres sale.draps inexistants ou tres sales.j ai du passer ma nuit allonge sur une serviette de bain et j ai 6500 francs pour rien absolument innacceptable que booking puisse proposer cet """" etablissement """"""

l'accueil et le contact avec le personnel la propreté etat neuf du studio Réserver une chambre climatisée et avoir un studio qui ne l'était pas Les chiens la nuit . toute petite serviette dans salle de bain . Studio mais pas une casserole ! proximité des voisins drap housse sur le lit mais seulement un couvre-lit pour se couvrir :pas de drap!

La relative propreté Le service acheté n'est pas le service rendu. Pour se faire plus d'argent la proprietaire vous sous-classe systematiquement, pas de clim, petit dejeuner pain beurre rien de plus. Des touristes en famille arrivés la nuit sont vus proposer une chambre dortoir à la place d'un appartement avec deux chambres pretextant que c'etait bien avec des enfants une chambre dortoir !!! Apres protestations ils ont quand meme pu avoir leur appartement qui etait libre. Des minis serviettes quand vous avez la chance d'en avoir. L'ambiance dans cette pension à cause de tout ça est mauvaise.

Do not go here! We are seasoned travelers and have stayed in pensions, backpacker hostels, etc however this place ranks among the worst ever. The room we were assigned was not pictured among the 23 photos on booking.com. The photos were very misleading. It was totally unsatisfactory for the following reasons:1) there were large gaps aroung the door and window which would easily allow insects to enter, 2) the only window was solid wood and had to be closed (from the outside) to use the ac, prevent insects from entering and for privacy, 3) the bathroom did not have a sink, 4) the shared kitchen was nothing like the photos shown and was dirty and had insects. When we arrived the gates we padlocked from the outside. Our taxi driver phoned the number on the sign and was told that someone would come soon to let us in (it was 2 pm). About 10 min later a woman came but spoke no English as was promised on the website. She had no idea we had a reservation. Thru my limited French, I was able to communicate our displeasure so she offered us a different room, however it didn't have a bathroom or ac. As the neighborhood was "sketchy" we really didn't feel safe staying there or leaving our belongings in the room if we went out so we decided to leave and find another room. We went to the Tahiti Airport Motel and were satisfied with it. There was no restaurant on site. In the end we spent an extra $40 in taxi fares for this very unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this place to anyone!
