Two A/C units in my suit kept us nice and cool. A large comfortable suit with everything you need. The free wifi in the lobby was nice. A great location close to shopping and the waterfront. Very friendly staff and someone was always cleaning something busy and productive staff.
The pool was not as nice in the hotel pictures but it worked just fine.
Great location within walking distance to Ferry Dock, Town Centre, and Food Vans. Rooms very clean and spacious with a comfy bed and large bathroom. Staff always very helpful, nice and polite. Free Wifi.
Free Wifi only in the Lobby. Breakfast very ordinary & overpriced.
Close to the ferry and downtown.
The hotel is dark and it was hard to find my hotel room door when I arrived in the evening. The bathroom was dark and not lit well. There were no wash cloths.
Rooms were nice, very clean and modern. Views were good. Staff was pleasant. Beds were comfortable. Balcony was nice.
Pool water was cold. Air near pool smelled like burning sewage. Congested downtown location. Generally was under-lit in room and especially public areas.
The location is good if you want to be right downtown. Convenient for walking.
Very dark hotel and it smelled really bad at the pool area. The neighborhood was a little rough.
nice staff large rooms good workout facility great location
no wi fi in rooms no day use rooms available
Noisy and dirty . I recommend go straight to the islands. Overpriced and dissapointing
Great rooms, spacious and comfortable
Clean, crisp, central but with a highly personal and attentive staff. A real gem......
I liked the location, however it was very close to the main road and you can hear the local traffic all night long.
The AC unit was not up to par. I did not enjoy spending the night in sweltering heat.
Very close to everything in downtown Papeete.
although, we got upgraded to a a jr. suite, the room smelled like a moldy mop. i was hesitant to sleep in the bed but the bathroom was nice. i guess it was fine for just one night. but not sure if i would stay there again.
Central location spacious room
Internet not availabe in room (although available free in the lobby) Breakfast far too expensive
Location is great if you are catching a cruise ship, or you wish to be downtown with shops, bars and restaurants. Staff is very responsive and friendly. Provided facilities to clean up change and store lugage if you are there before check in time.
You are not overlooking beautiful scenery. The rooms show wear but are clean.
Rooms was large and very comfortable, good beds. Room had been recently renovated and they had done a fairly good job. Décor was current and pleasing on the eye. Balcony overlooking the pool was nice. Would have been happy to stay longer.
Arrived about 4pm, Hotel could not provide milk until 7am the next morning at the earliest. Restaurant was closed on Sunday. Limited wifi is out of date. Had to go to reception to get access, but only after modem was rebooted
Comfortable bed. Spacious suite. Helpful front desk. Centrally located.
Only one small mirror in a darkly lit bathroom was great for ambiance but poor for doing one's makeup. No plug in the bathroom for curling iron.
Hotel is located in the heart of the city. So easy to get around. Great staff. Beautiful hotel.
We had a room to the back, therefore we did not hear the noise of the street.
The noise of the disco
The location is very close walking to town. The staff was really helpful with arranging tours and rental car, and very friendly in general.
No safe in the rooms but at the Reception, so not so convenient. The bar used for the breakfast area was very dark.
The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are well equipped and tastefully decorated. We had twice a quiet room, because it did not go to the street.
Lack of light in the corridors, noise of the Disco, expensive breakfast.
Clean and efficient. 24 hour reception. rooms comfortable. Good value (for Tahiti).
breakfast nothing special, served in a very dark room (designed to make you forget you're on a tropical island ?).
Hotel was clean and staff were accommodating. Bed was comfortable.
Area the hotel was located in.
We chose the Hotel Tahiti Nui based on location. We had arrived on an evening flight too late to board a ferry to Moorea. The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport to the hotel for about $16.00/person; they were waiting and billed the cost directly to the hotel. It is an easy walk to the Ferry Terminal.
The property is contemporary and recently refurbished but shows a lack of maintenance in the public areas and in the room; none of which affected our stay. Two items to note: request a room at the back of the hotel. The local traffic is very noisy and can be heard easily in a front facing room. Also, they use a European style comforter setup without a top sheet. I don’t understand this in a tropical zone, but it doesn’t make for a restful sleep; either too cold because of the A/C or too hot because of the comforter.
dark and depression interier breakfast horrible overpriced
Location was excellent. Room Comfortable once it cooled off which took about 10 hours.
Hot water good my first evening but only barely warm in the AM. Small ants on desk...did not investigate if more on floor and such. Visited the bar and only one fellow was there but then he disappeared to go wait on someone in the Dining Room below on the next level and then later he came back to get me a bill. appeared to be short handed ....perhaps this was not the high season.
