Food did not match the setting and luxury of the hotel. Prices were high for quality recieved
Hotel is closed to the airport, security is ok.
Service in the restaurants is not enough trained comparing with international standards. Internet is interrupted always. check out 11, 1 minute later your card does not work.
Staff very friendly and eager to please. Location is very convenient to airport. Food at the Bacchus Restaurant is a bit pricy but truly excellent.
The beds have wooden legs that have a piece on each corner leg that sticks out four inches or so from the main frame of the bed and I hit my shin on it more than once. The television controls are confusing. There are two, and if you use the wrong one for changing channels or volume you are hopelessly (for a non-technophile) lost and must call for technical assistance from staff (which was, thankfully, quickly forthcoming).
This is a beautifully designed hotel and has wonderful areas to sit and relax with good choice of food and facilities would die finely recommend
I have styled three times during the past month. The first time I booked the fountain King room at extra cost but was put in Bacchus room instead. I recently booked Bacchus as it seemed to be no point trying fountain and was put in a much better Bacchus room in the new wing. Not sure what happened the first time although I did receive access to Fountain lounge. It was not clear about the complimentary breakfast, we ended up paying for breakfast for two in contrast to what it said on website.
Pillows and bed were of top quality and the presentation in the Bacchus rooms were 5 star. Home comforts away from home. Restaurant views and set up amazing.
Restaurant staff require a little more urgency with requests for drinks.
Food service cleanliness of the rooms and friendly staff
The noisy guests next door/room.
Getting to/from the office Meals at the Vue restaurant Landscaping
Armed security guard
While other hotel had a free internet in the room, Airways has none and it is very inconvenient.
Perfect pool, great restaurant with a lot of open air. Very quiet. Great staff. Weird but interesting architecture. Everything done with good taste. A joy to stay.
The friendliness of the staff was A1!! No request was to hard and done with a great smile!! It was definitely 1st class! Will be back!
I had a pair of reading glasses and a silver lighter holder which went missing. I left them on a table and they were never returned...Could have been a guest..but that was a disappointment.
Well located for airport and the diplomatic quarter/museums etc. Has most of the atmosphere of a five star luxury hotel with plentiful and attentive staff. Food moderate (though we didn't test the grotesquely expensive "Bacchus" restaurant as I had Port Moresby belly). Probably the best place in town - frequented by politicians and buisnessmen.
Price gouging for internet-in-room, and laundry. Staff made a fuss about a delayed check-out even though the hotel was only half full, and even when it had been granted didn't update the keycards so that getting to the lobby was difficult through the many security doors.
A beautiful hotel close to the airport, with good restaurant and facilities.
The room we we're given was in the old section, so the bathroom was a bit short of space to put your toiletries.
Free in-room internet would be
The comfy beds the wonderful staff and excellent food
Having to leave!
Great facilities, friendly and helpful staff, five stars as far as I'm concerned.
Very friendly staff Rooms are very comfortable and clean
No nearby shops for us to go to, can get quite bored in the hotel
Outstanding Service! Wish I had more time to explore the Hotel and take advantage of it's amenities.
Need to Provide a Rib Eye Steak and more variety of the Dinner Menu
Nice staff, lots of extras, free wireless, free snacks, free drinks
Far from the city, hard to to travel at night so couldn't go out much
I was travelling with another colleague for work, she's also a female and this not many other places that you can feel safe and secure but also not feel caged up. The grounds and facilitators are amazing and allow lots of variety, martini hour is fantastic with ore dinner snacks, drinks and free wifi in the common areas, the staff are super friendly, everyone goes the extra mile, there are complimentary chocolates, cakes and the breakfast is one of the best buffets I've ever had, this is a luxury and beautiful place to stay, and well worth the little extra it costs compared to other hotels in this range in POM (that are secure - which is essential for women travelling to PNG)
Nothing - it's amazing!
Staff, always very good service.
Price. crazy expensive for PNG.
Great view from the restaurant.
The reservation was booked at PGK337 but I was charged PGK843 when I checked out. I raised the issue at the time but I had to leave to catch my flight.
This is the best all round hotel in Port Moresby.
