Staff are very helpful, friendly and couldn;t do enough for guests. The on site spa and salon are also very convenient. The free shuttle service is another plus, as although shops and restaurants were not far, it would be too hot and uncomfortable to have to walk.

Often have to wait for a while for lifts (only 3 for more than 30 floors). The lobby is very small and gets crowded with guests (and their guests). This can sometimes be quite noisy and give a negative impression of the hotel.

friendly and helpful staff, from front desk, concierge and housekeeping. shuttle service to shopping places very helpful with guests mobility tp other parts of the city and to meet acquaintances.

very diffecult to access WIfi services, at this time and age there should be an area we can use to access our devices. very heavy traffic around, hard to find parking except their valet parking. no 110W outlet available for charging personal appliances, except one transformer/converter per unit.

I liked most the design of the 2bedroom we stayed at-really feels like a suite of luxury. We loved the location as well as we can wake to Ortigas. We also loved the staff in the buffet area, all the doormen are always helpful.The staff in the receptionists area are not so bad as well but they sort of lack some warmth. Loved the customer lounge as well though really cold temp. Finally, I booked the hotel due to its price and value for money. Will rebook again if the price remains competitive.

Things that can be further improved are: 1) the check-in/check out process as it will always take a long line during 12noon. Why dont you spread the check-out time(and check in as well) by telling those checking out that instead of 12nn, you give them some leeway of 12:15pm or 12:30pm or 1pm so you avoid the line downstairs in the reception that ruins the whole experience in the hotel. In this way, you even make customers feel that they are given some 'freebie' or more value by offering them extra time. Instead of phoning them to remind them of check- out, why dont u first ask what time they plan to check-out..and then you give them some leeway in order to manage your long lines downstairs and also help the housekeeping, who checks on rooms before you can approve of check out. Just an idea that trust me would make the whole experience better for most people staying in your hotel. It'll take a bit of effort from the receptionist or managers but thats better than running a long line 2) Our group hated that we needed to pay for extra in order to use some wine glasses! What on earth have gotten into you, guys? This is absurd and unheard of and I've travelled and stayed in a lot of hotels in Europe and US and this was my first experience. If you were a budget hotel, maybe I'll understand but you are 3or4 stars, right? You've just ruined the whole celebration we had 3) This one you cant maybe do anything about that wont entail lots of expense but the walls are quite thin that you can really hear other guests in other rooms. This is for other people who will read reviews. And then you have a policy of not too loud for the room guests because of your thin walls (though I know maybe some guests can be rowdy and would have karaoke sessions wc can be really quite annoying) 4) Deposit of P5000 or $120 approx is needed. Though this is normal, you should place the amount on the website or in your policies in Booking.com so guests can be ready and no need to find ATM. 5.

The Kitchen Polite Staff Clean Room Equipment included in the room (TV, Stove and others) 'I REALLY LOVE COOKING SO having a Kitchen was the best part....."

Its just the location of the hotel with regards with the traffic jam, but it's tolerable, i will still choose Astoria Plaza again and again=)

the place and the room was , as always, nice

the staff are a little aloof, there was a time i wanted to borrow a pair of scissors and none of the room service guys seem to care. Also i had to print a concert ticket and i knew the business office was close but they cant do a simple favor of doing it for the guest. I'm sure the manager or the supervisor has a printer somewhere. Internet connection has been dismal and has not improved since then and I have been a fan of this hotel for years.

The 2 bedroom suite was of great deal. Spacious.

Took almost an hour before we were checked in. I had to ask them to carry the luggage for me-not very attentive to incoming customers needs and comfortability.

The location really isn't very convienent. It's not too far away from everything, yet it's just far enough away that you can't walk in the heat of the Philippeans. Cabs are easily caught and the staff is very helpful at hailing you a cab, but it would just be a lot better to be closer to the malls.

First of all I like their service, the staffs are friendly, food is really good and not to forget the rooms are cozy and spacious.

The breakfast buffet was nice. They also have a complimentary shuttle to major shopping malls in the area.

We had friends for a visit and wanted to borrow some plates, however they will charge us 45pesos each, how ridiculous can that be? I would just then buy plates than to borrow from them! I mean its just borrow, we will not eat them!!! Also the staff in the reception are not sufficient and friendly enough as they should be. They are very slow in responding to inquiries and request.

modern feel, clean and close to the mega mall

the area is too congested and traffic is bad. i dont know if i would walk around the area of the hotel at night.

I like the location, easy access to the mall by foot.

The lobby and the lift is very warm and when u get to the room it takes awhile before it gets cooler.

The room was good and spacioud.

The front desk staff are arrogant, although the behind the scenes staff wer excellent.

Affordable big rooms

Liked the room set up and the size of the spaces. Nice comfy bed and a good shower which is a nice change. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I would stay at Astoria again

The food wasn't great

Okay location as we needed to be near Pasig. Hotel was clean and suitable if travelling with young children.

Customer service is atrocious and follow up when there is a problem was not exsistant unfortunately. With the problem we had, i would not use or recommend this hotel in future. I would pay alot more and stay elsewhere.

Budget friendly,

Ang bagal ng wifi, naka ilang tawag ako pra sa housekeeping pero wlang dumadating. Hindi ko alam kung ang may problema ay iyong operator or mismong sa housekeeping nila.

Not much. Extremely poor services. Room was never vacuumed. A peanut that fell on the carpet the first day was there till the day we left! The bathroom was wash basin & tub had a slow drain.Their maintenance was called twice and came for less than five minutes and left saying all was done. But nothing was different. Housekeeping never replaced the sugar and tea. When called they came with one packet of sugar for a suite with two persons. Concierge did not know much about how to get around the city and was only interested in selling us a package of tours. The only good service was in the breakfast hall, where we were greeted politely and they knew our names. Offered to get refreshments and coffee in a buffet setting. Good touch. But the front desk was very unfriendly and we were made to wait till housekeeping checked out room and reported all ok so we could leave the hotel. That was the type of insult I have never witnessed in any hotel in the world!!

The bed linen was clean.
