Perfect atmosphere and very good ambiance. Staff are excellent! Good food. A perfect stay to escape the busy life. Thumbs up! A little bit pricey but it's really worth it. Very accommodating staff and good service. Nice welcome upon arrival, and a warm farewell with a matching songs.

after raining we found some not attractive spiders, mosquitos in our rooms.

This hotel is the best of the best! You will never find the service such their stuff provide in another places, doesn't matter even how much money you will spend. We have never seen so friendly and helpful personnel who can achieve ALL you needs and desires! till the day the room is decorated by flowers about 2-3 times and also cleaned. each detail in the hotel is made up to perfection. If you need to work there is wi-fi connection almost everywhere (also at the beach area). Accommodation are very big and some of them are with hammocks and even private polls with sea water. We Strictly recommend this hotel to everyone, especially for honeymooners and coupes. It is a really small private paradise!

Beautifully situated on its own island, very friendly staff. Spacious rooms.

Extremely overpriced. Food, excursions, everything is 50-200% more expensive than in comparable hotels and resorts, even with better standard. As a small comparison, I take a small bottle of San Miguel costing maximum 125php elsewhere. It costs 220php at Badian. If you want to stay at a secluded resort I would rather recommend Alegre close to Sogod, It gives much better value for your money and is all in all better run. With those prices Badian takes one expects much more luxury. But it's not. Furniture is not good enough, the beautiful baths can not be filled more than half full with hot water. The shower does not work quite as it should. The breakfast buffet is OK, but not great. Etc, etc.

Das Resort ist relativ schön, wenn auch etwas altbacken. Das Personal ist vorbildlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Strand ist eher mittelmäßig für diese Region aber dennoch gut zum entspannen.

Es gibt in den Zimmern kein Fernsehen und nur ein altes CD/Kassetten Radio. Was wirklich negativ ist, sind die wirklich unverschämten Preise für Essen, Spa und Ausflüge. Essen kann man nur im Hotel denn es gibt keine Restaurants dort. Ausflüge kann man mit ein bisschen Eigeninitiative für 1/10 des Hotelpreises machen. Fazit, das Managment ist Grundweg mit einer, für Philippinische Verhaltnisse, Abzockstrategie unterwegs. Wem das nichts ausmacht der kann getrost mal vorbei schauen. Ärgern wird man sich dann nicht..

Very disappointing - I feel cheated I have travelled much of the world in the past 40 plus years and have stayed in many hotels and resorts, some good and some bad but none left me with the sense of disappointment and of being ripped off as my one night stay in Badian Resort & Spa in February 2013. I didn't do my research properly. I now see that the various hotel booking sites are littered with bad reviews of this resort. Here is another such review to add to that collection. I paid pesos 8557 (Euro 160.15) for a family suite. Subsequently, I was contacted by the resort which offered me a number of meal options. Dinner and breakfast at php2,800 per person (Euro 52); dinner, breakfast and lunch at php4200 per person (Euro 77) and an all in package to include unlimited local drinks at php5,400 per person (Euro 100). It seemed that these were the only food options. In retrospect, thank goodness I just opted for the dinner and breakfast at php2,800. It was dreadful value and I would have compounded the error had I gone for one of the more expensive packages. There was an a La Carte menu in the restaurant, which in itself had lots of shortcomings (see below), but it is better value than a meal package. Badian was to be my vacation treat for myself and my partner, so I was prepared to spend extra for what was sold as a 5 star resort on a "Paradise Island". It was exciting travelling the short boat trip from the mainland and the welcome ceremony was quaint and nice. So far so good - but then it went rapidly downhill. The family suite was spacious but very dated and very dark. The bedding and most fittings are old. The room had practically no natural light even with the sliding doors open. While it was clean, there was a shabby feeling about it. Then we started to plan our stay and looked at the prices. Practically everything is extra and the prices are grotesquely high.
