Blue Bayou Bungalows    

Had a lovely time here, the owners are really friendly and the place has a very relaxed and chilled out atmosphere. The location is great, away from the over-crowdedness of White Beach but close enough to walk in 5-10 mins. We originally had the room with a fan only but as an air-con apartment unexpectedly became available the owner asked if we wanted to upgrade – we chose to do this and it was well worth the extra cost as the fan room was VERY hot! To be fair the air-con apartment was also quite hot even with the air con running on full blast but that is to be expected in April the hottest month of the year! The air-con apartment was also a lot more spacious, split over two levels, and had a kitchen and sofa area. Breakfast was really nice too.

As others have mentioned the roosters waking us up early in the morning (sometimes as early as 1am!) were quite annoying but we brought earplugs so that fixed that problem pretty quickly!

Breakfast is excellent if not perfect Quiet area away from beach Huge bungalow and spacious bathroom You have your own balcony,living area,kitchen and bedroom on a loft with mosquito net I suggest book transportation from hotel by emailing them as some road is under construction, fee is minimal.

A great place for the budget traveller. The location is perfect, is far away from the noisy second station, absolutely not heard trike. Living in the Deluxe Bungalow-we all liked it. Quite a large Bungalow for two with all the conveniences. Breakfast was not good enough, but monotonous, however we all arranged. Wi-Fi caught a good idea even in the bungalows.The bungalows are located next to the over bulabog beach-there are kitesurfing, to White beach, 7 minutes walk-a lot of people. We went to the Puka beach-the most beautiful beach of the island!!! Special thanks to Hans and Diana and Jan - very friendly. Be sure to come back here. Yulia and Nikita.

Staff excellent, room clean and perfect for needs. Ideal location near both beaches. Breakfast superb. Garden shady and welcoming. Dian and Hans are excellent hosts.

Good service and helpfull staff. Excelent breakfast.Hot water and eletricity during the whole day. Near the beach but calm place. The cotages are really huge :-)

Nice and clean bungalows near Bulabog beach and 5min walk to White Beach.

We booked bungalow for 4nights 2months before our trip and when we arrived they tried to accomodate us in a room, which was terrible and not what we've booked. they tried to convice us that that was our booking, but we booked bungalow not room.. after a while we understod that they had no bungalow available, they were dobel booked for 2days. We refused to go to others and pay twice as much, so at the end they agreed to pay differende for 2 nights in some other place. It was ok, but smelled strange.. We stayed there for 2 nights, and retured to Blue Bayau for 2 last nights.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bungalows are lovely.

Sound insulation inside bungalow was really poor, the rain fall sounded like thunder and the roosters every monring were disturbing.

Everything was perfect. We instantly felt like home thanks to Diane and the girls plus Curry the dog and Jasper the cat! The bungalows are great, you find everything you need and the bed is very comfy. Everyday we looked forward to the freshly prepared breakfast. We also liked the fact that it is not beachfront. You walk through a Boracay neighgbourhood on the way to the beach, you can find a very good barber there (the one in the open nipa hut with his very nice family) and some food stalls. It is very close to the Kite/Windsurfing beach. We did not want to leave and will surely return back.

The staff and the breakfast are the things I liked the most about this hotel. THe owner is a really friendly and helpfull philippino woman. The wi-fi is really good and there is hot water during the whole day. The garden is like a paradise. I would always come back to this hotel

Good size room ... everything i needed .. very realxing

The staff here were very helpful and friendly, the Lady Diane was lovely. We had a budget room which was good for the money and it was in a fairly quiet are, with only a few trikes in the evening motoring past. It was situated in between 2 beaches, 3 mins to one for water sports and 7 mins walking to other for relax and other water sports. nice dog and cat there too.

the manager (Diane) was very warm and accommodating. the staffs were hospitable and nice. the room was clean cozy.blue bayou bungalows is definitely worth for your money because its very near to station 1 were you can have all the sports activities... i certainly, highly recommend it to all....

Staying at Blue Bayou Bungalow was a great choice. The cabins are perfect for those of you who dont like a typical hotel room to stay. The staff and owners are super friendly and helpful. The price is good. About 8 min walk to white beach zone, 2 min walk to where water activities are held. Im planning to go to boracay again and would definitely stay at Blue Bayou.

Blue Bayou is really great! We loved it the minute we saw their beautiful tropical garden, let alone the delicate and cute bungalow they prepared for us. The room was really neat and got everything we need, even the kitchen and refrigerator. The ac was upstairs and with a comfortable bed. There was a fan downstairs which make sure it was cool everywhere. The breakfast has a lot of choices and taste so good. They were so nice to prepare an early breakfast for us on the last day since we left Boracay for Manila early in the morning. Also, there are two cute cats and one dog. Had a lot of fun with them. The location was also convenient. You can walk to dmall in less than 10 minutes and the same distance to the white beach(a path leading directly to the beach, a little hard to find though). Please be aware that they change the sheet and towels 3 days for eco reason and they didn't accept room tips. After all, highly recommend everyone to stay here!

Pretty good location, 5min away from the white sand beach. Many supermarkets or small shops near the area for food/snacks. We stayed in a very nice bungalow with A/C, tv, kitchen, couch.. very confortable and quite. Staff is very nice and food was also good.. specially those mangoes! :)

Location and the set up was great.

Did not like the mossie's coming out at night after the rain and eating me alive. A deterent would have been proposed . Not happy with with the communication that was suppose to come to me on the day of my departure. A message was given to me by a staff asking me what time I was leaving from my brother. The message should have been, what time I was arriving at manila airport as my dad was picking me up. In the end, it costs me 700 pesos in cab fare and the inconvenience of my dad waiting at the airport and not finding me. Overall, apart from the 1 hiccup, the place was great and the staff were fantastic.I will definitely come back to your bungalow.

I liked that they accommodated my requests for early check in and late check. Dian, the owner, is a real treasure. She replied to my emails promptly and willingly made arrangements for my surprise dinner for my husband and daughter who were celebrating their bdays. We all loved Dian's spaghetti bolognese! I also liked the peace and quiet the place afforded us after a whole day stay at the White Beach. And since it is so close to Bulabog Beach, we were able to enjoy the view of the sunrise without having to wake up too early.

I think the bungalow could use a bigger airconditioner. The airconditioner was located on the loft so the cool air hardly reached the living room area. Fortunately, there was a big electric fan in the living room that helped air circulate downstairs.

I liked the surroundings, lush vegetation within the property, native style of the accommodation, proximity to both sides of Boracay Island, quiet, and most of all the friendly owner and staff.

I like that it fit our budget (affordable), nice comfy room, unique and native room style (bungalow), very delicious and healthy breakfast, warm and accommodating hostess ( Diane), no insects, clean comfort room, the towels smell good and absorbent, soft pillows and bed, white and clean bedsheet. Although we booked the fan room, its not hot inside at all. The wall fan is working properly.

What we needed during our stay and not available in the room was the foot rug. Its not beachfront, but its okay coz alot of people are walking in the street to the beach mostly foreigners.

The owners are very much hands on the breakfast is surprisingly delicious the place is so cozy the staff are all helpful they will make ur vacation very memorable
