I liked the staff. They were really kind and nice to me. They would pay the trike drivers 20 pesos to bring us home from the beach after hours.
The room leaked toilet water from the room above me for the entire day. They said it was fixed on five occasions but it continued to accumulate a puddle in my room and they still expected me to pay for it. Imagine waking up to use the restroom to find yourself stepping in someone else's toilet water which then proceeds to drip on your head. Also on one night I could not shower or flush the toilet because the water did not work. Their tours are over priced go walk along the beach you can find better deals. The laundry service ruined two of my shirts.
Most amazing place! Great staff, extremely helpful and kind. Delicious food. Resort very close to the beach, with free tricycle to and from the town after 6 pm. Rooms very clean (service everyday) and comfortable!
Wifi a bit spotty at times!
Good value for price.
Far away from the beach.
room was greate and clean, the girl on the reception was amazing :) wery helpfull and allways happy. we recomend it to everyone!
The staff were brilliant. They were friendly and professional and went out of their way to make our stay fun and comfortable. The room and common areas were kept very clean and the garden was lovely. Wifi and aircon were excellent!
The bed was a little on the small side as I was sharing with a friend and the sheet wasn't big enough to cover us both. That is really the only negative.
It was our own little paradise! Very cozy!
Very nice and cozy place, i was staying there for 10 nights or so.. It's quiet, relaxing and just 10 min walk from the beach.
Mosquitoes big like apples, but they are everywhere not just in Chillout :)
It's a great Guesthouse and the staff is really nice but it's a little bit far from the center. It's 10 minutes walk from the alona beach, but if you want to go the the main street you need to take a tricycle. The plus side, the Guesthouse pays for your tricycle when you go back from the center.
Very nice beautiful and quite place. Most beautiful guesthouse i ever see. Realy recommend to all you are staying in panglao.
Mosquitoes, but they are every where
free tricycle service compensates for medium location very nice mango shakes :) very nice area with really nice garden laundry service
Excellent place.. The name of the hotel says everything. The staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean with a nice lounge area. Defo a place to stay at. Leni
Manager and other staffs are really nice. It's a nice guest house not far from the beach and main street.
Friendly staff Quiet surroundings Nice balcony in the rooms Short menu, but tasty food in the restaurant
At night, if you go to Alona Beach, the street/pathway is really dark. 10 minutes walk from Alona.
Wifi was good. Great value breakfast. Friendly staff. Good air conditioning unit.
Advertised as 'soundproof', it certainly was not. Very noises. Very low water pressure, dirty from tap in sink. Small rooms with not a lot of storage space.
Really lovely stay! Kind and willing staff, nice room with terrace, fast Wi-Fi, housekeeping. Restaurant, motorbike rental and tour offers around Bohol Island and great snorkeling. Close to Alona Beach. They provide pick-up and drop-off from the airport.
Nothing at all. Just restaurant could be cheaper. Otherwise guests will go for tea out.
That was the best staying in my life! Literally Chillout bacame my home at Philippines. Sweet staff and owner are always super nice, friendly and helpful. Basically it is that good that during the evening you don`t want to go out, just stay at their small cozy restaurant, drink and enjoy food, cooked with love. About location. At the first sight seems like it is a bit difficult to find, but after you will enjoy this 10 min walking to the beach, with having a chance to see local`s life and be greeted by every person you met on your way. Also there is a short cut to the beach, so instead of 10-15 min of walk you can minimize it to 5. I love love loved this place! It is highly recommended to people who want to enjoy quite place surrounded by beautiful nature! If you travel either alone or with friends - it would be perfect choice for you! Can`t wait to get a chance to come again there! love, Anna
Very friendly staff Big and charming rooms Good value for money Relatively close to Alona Beach Fred, the owner, is very helpful They organize tours as well
very nice place.close to the beach. the room was so nice. the restaurant inside the hotel was great-decorating.
The price of food selling here were so high, and foods were not that good. Laundry services charged too much.
staff was really nice and helpful. The guesthouse is not directly on te beach, but it's only a 5-7 min walk. There are only a few rooms, I think 9, so it's pretty quiet at night. Free tricycle at night from the beach (if you're afraid walking alone in the dark).
wifi, but that's almost everywhere in the Philippines slow.
The decor, the atmosphere, the rooms, and the staff were just wonderful. The layout of the whole place is really nice and relaxing. Simple, but unique little rooms. Just right for 2 people. The staff was very helpful and even chatted with us for a bit. I liked the fact that the guesthouse is located in a quiet area surrounded by local families. And it's only a 5 minute walk by shortcut to the beach! Definitely would recommend this place to everyone.
Just some minor information: If you are squeamish about insects then bring some bug spray. But it really wasn't a problem for us. Bring a flashlight if you are planning on walking back to the guesthouse at night as the road is really dark since there are no streetlights near the place.
Manager Krissy. She is very kind and don't forget smiling when says to customers.
Noise at night. One night, there was a family dinner party of owner Olivier. Almost 8-10 guys and ladies eating, drinking and laughing with loud music even 10:50pm. It may 8th July. I could feel they don't mind it. Toilet. Water pressure is not strong enough. Not easy say good-bye with ur No.2.
Friendly management and staff, nice atmosphere; Traditional style buildings in attractive garden setting; Quiet location close to town centre and beach.
Temperamental plumbing (no hot water in shower, loo difficult to flush); Traditional construction does not keep mosquitos out of rooms.
It's in a quiet location and a pleasant place to stay. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The guesthouse is not real close to the beach but within walking distance, although the road is dark at night. The food is very good in the restaurant at the Chillout.
The WIFI was slow or no connection while I stayed there.
Staff are helpful , location is good And also cheap price.i highly recommend this Accommodation
very friendly staff, eager to help u with anything u need there, the hotel really deserves the name chill-out, big rooms, very clean and very new,...def. would go there again
sometimes hard to get a trike or motorbike, so u have to walk 5-10 mins in the dark to get one; or wait at the hotel
