The hotel was nice, clean & a first class . The buffet breakfast was excellent.

The restaurant is very expensive for lunch & dinner. Very isolated from the outside world.

The minute you enter the resort you feel relaxed and happy. Staff is very friendly & polite. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable. The restaurant offers a very good dning experience 24hrs round the clock. Well maintained swimming pool with snack bar and pool bar available. The outdoor ambience is just fantastic.

The overall experience was so wonderful that i dont have anything negative to say about the place.

    - Quality of food - The day beds were great

    - The food was very expensive - I really got annoyed by the men hanging around the bottom of the fence constantly asking if I wanted to rent jet skis or ride a boat with them. I just wanted to have a peaceful stroll and they would constantly nag me. The hotel needs to do something about them.

The staff is extremely friendly and quite ready to help. The facilities are also quite good, we had one of the best rooms and it was well appointed.

I regret booking this hotel because I wanted a quiet weekend on a lovely beach. The hotel is swarming with groups of young people and loud families, and a film crew was there filming a local martial arts clubs yelling all day and ruining any chance of rest. I could only sleep past midnight, because we had to change room due to broken A/C, and in spite of loud neighbours and people being noisy on the beach. This hotel is for fun with friends & kids. Probably fine if you book a cheap room and expect a tan and jet skis. NOT if you book a premium room and expect a premium experience. In addition, the beaches in Cebu are not nice, in fact I don't think they qualify as 'beach' at all. The hotels build huge walls into the sea, and the tide comes out all the way leaving just swampy ground.

    1) Friendliness of staff - impeccable hospitality 2) Beautiful decor in rooms and overall layout of the resort 3) Breakfast was excellent - lots of choices 4) Nice beach and pool areas 5) Thanks for free scuba lesson!

    1) Not enough electrical outlets 2) No Wi-Fi or even ethernet connectivty in bedrooms 3) Soap dish in shower was broken on day 1 and never repaired. 4) Although facilities were great, roadways to resort were unpaved and dusty. These need to be upgraded to give a better impression of the approach to your resort.

    Ambiance reception area

Too small swimming pool for so many guests. Extremely relax rules at swimming pool. Overcrowded. Noisy. Poor maintenance. Mix of old and new facilities. Very secluded location

the private beach was not clean, there was a algae and tree leaves all over the beach. Furthermore; I would suggest to provide a bottled water on a daily basis

-pool -billiard table -table tennis table -spacious room and balcony -friendly staff

-beach -expensive for its location and quality (if it were only between 3-5K pesos including tax, it would have been okay.) -you need a taxi all the time even just to grab a bite or drink elsewhere.

The View, privacy, room layout, cleanliness, security and Resort staff & amenities.. Resort food and drinks are better than average for the price.

Scolding hot water, felt restricted to the resort unless you catch a taxi or the free shuttle to the city.

Location was nice and secluded, Staff were excellent. Rooms were fantastic. Great choice of food available and was well prepared and quick to arrive. Good access to day trips on site so easy to book.

Great and I would say excellent breakfast, night time there is a local band and was very relaxing, nice swimming pool and very friendly staff.

Wifi issues in the room, location has nothing to offer outside the hotel facilities, must take a taxi and not very friendly walk once you leave the hotel.

I only liked the chef in the small restaurant by the swimming pool. The night we arrived we had a lovely dinner of asian style fish, rice and lovely desserts. This was the most memorable part of our stay at Costa Bella Hotel

My room (No. 200) was musty smelling and it appeared had never been aired for a while. I woke up with my leg full of bed bug bites. I still have the scars from the bites on my leg two weeks later ! My room was never cleaned properly. A mango that I ate in my room was left on a plate the day after and never cleaned out until I left. I think this hotel passed its glory days. I would not recommend it to anyone. There are better places to stay in Cebu that are not so remote (too far from the airport and scenic route to airport is not really scenic), better staffed and with better beach front (water was dirty, saw alot of floating water bottles etc.).

Helpfullness and friendliness of staff was above and beyond outstanding, security, breakfast, housekeeping, cleanliness, firmness of bed, amenities, quality of small refrigerator, free shuttle to area malls.

Slightly expensive, tile in the rooms compared to the washroom was about 3 or 4 centimeters at a different level appearing like it was cut-off or an safety hazard afterthought almost causing me to break my toe. Paint lines were not straight and weird. Room was extremely hot upon arrival. Room service food quality was atrocious except for the macaroni and cheese. The Pizza tasted like skimped out salt cheese over a cardboard tortilla. Clerk adamently wanted to see my actual booking paperwork even though it was my reservation was in the system. Beds were way too small for most western guests (very small double size), TV was very small. Only one elevator used. WAY Overpriced Jet Ski, Parasailing, Kayaking at the Hotel. If other people are late for their boat, you are forced to wait as well. A guidebook of the local area to include estimated taxi fares to common places would have been nice in the room to include warning about the outskirts of the hotel. Around the outside area of the hotel was extremely dark and scared my family.

    Staff are friendly and pleasant.

The toilets are very old and worn off. There are cracked tiles. Could use a better shower head. Plastered bathtubs. The TV is ancient.

I guess going there on off-peak season, the ambience is really conducive for pure relaxation. Lush greens, coconut trees, not crowded. Food is ok (ala carte is ok, breakfast is good), cocktail drinks are great. The place is pretty upscale and can be a great option besides Shangri-La or Crimson (I've never been to the two but the reviews are great). Maybe most people won't like the seaweeds at the beach especially at low tide, but I did not have a problem swimming in it. They won't hurt your feet, in fact, they're quite soft. I like deep waters and you can actually swim out to a barge at the perimeter and watch locals catch danggit. I really enjoyed my stay here.

While the room rate is much cheaper compared to Shangri-La or Crimson, they could have at least thrown in a dental kit.

as with almost all filipino hotels its greatest strength is its staff ... always helpful and charming. also the food was excellent.

the beach photograph you chose this hotel for is not reality. it is simply awful. i booked poolside accommodation, the management and i, have very different views of this definition. i stayed in 10 different hotels over a 4 week duration - the costabella is vastly overpriced in my opinion.
