Poor internet Noisy coz of daily outside visitors
The hotel was nice, clean & a first class . The buffet breakfast was excellent.
The restaurant is very expensive for lunch & dinner. Very isolated from the outside world.
The minute you enter the resort you feel relaxed and happy. Staff is very friendly & polite. The rooms are very cozy and comfortable. The restaurant offers a very good dning experience 24hrs round the clock. Well maintained swimming pool with snack bar and pool bar available. The outdoor ambience is just fantastic.
The overall experience was so wonderful that i dont have anything negative to say about the place.
The stuff were nice and helpful, told me where should I go for nice food! But the pool were a bit dirty and the beach was a bit smaller than what I expect! But it's still were a great hotel to spend a nice holiday with your friend or family!
- Quality of food - The day beds were great
- The food was very expensive - I really got annoyed by the men hanging around the bottom of the fence constantly asking if I wanted to rent jet skis or ride a boat with them. I just wanted to have a peaceful stroll and they would constantly nag me. The hotel needs to do something about them.
Accommodating front staff, great place to unwind.
The staff is extremely friendly and quite ready to help. The facilities are also quite good, we had one of the best rooms and it was well appointed.
I regret booking this hotel because I wanted a quiet weekend on a lovely beach. The hotel is swarming with groups of young people and loud families, and a film crew was there filming a local martial arts clubs yelling all day and ruining any chance of rest. I could only sleep past midnight, because we had to change room due to broken A/C, and in spite of loud neighbours and people being noisy on the beach. This hotel is for fun with friends & kids. Probably fine if you book a cheap room and expect a tan and jet skis. NOT if you book a premium room and expect a premium experience. In addition, the beaches in Cebu are not nice, in fact I don't think they qualify as 'beach' at all. The hotels build huge walls into the sea, and the tide comes out all the way leaving just swampy ground.
1) Friendliness of staff - impeccable hospitality 2) Beautiful decor in rooms and overall layout of the resort 3) Breakfast was excellent - lots of choices 4) Nice beach and pool areas 5) Thanks for free scuba lesson!
1) Not enough electrical outlets 2) No Wi-Fi or even ethernet connectivty in bedrooms 3) Soap dish in shower was broken on day 1 and never repaired. 4) Although facilities were great, roadways to resort were unpaved and dusty. These need to be upgraded to give a better impression of the approach to your resort.
price lack of ability to go along beachfront
Nice resort for a stay at for spending time in the pool or down at the beach. Nice to see the reading area with some books, with there being no gardens or other area to walk around to sit, the reading area was a nice place to sit with tablet on to check the news. Even if raining you can sit down here. they run a free shuttle bus to both shopping malls that leaves at 10:00am only to the mall-you have to make your own way back which is easy to understand with the amount of time my girlfriend took to buy gifts for family. That was a longggggggggg day for me carrying bags.
Problem is when house keeping is cleaning the Japanese style rooms, the doors are left wide open in the corridor and your room, this lets to the amount of mosquito found in the room. A little command sense please, I got tired killing the mosquito's invited in with the open doors, close the corridor door -when cleaning the room. food was hit and miss for the prices, some dishes where good , some where not. really hit and miss. There is nothing outside this resort, maybe if your local you would walk outside to get to shops, but not for me, it was taxi all the way.
The place..relaxing..an approciable & nice staff..
Food is lil bit expensive...
Swimming pool is great
the beach - the sea is shallow with lots of weeds
Ambiance reception area
Too small swimming pool for so many guests. Extremely relax rules at swimming pool. Overcrowded. Noisy. Poor maintenance. Mix of old and new facilities. Very secluded location
the private beach was not clean, there was a algae and tree leaves all over the beach. Furthermore; I would suggest to provide a bottled water on a daily basis
-pool -billiard table -table tennis table -spacious room and balcony -friendly staff
-beach -expensive for its location and quality (if it were only between 3-5K pesos including tax, it would have been okay.) -you need a taxi all the time even just to grab a bite or drink elsewhere.
The View, privacy, room layout, cleanliness, security and Resort staff & amenities.. Resort food and drinks are better than average for the price.
Scolding hot water, felt restricted to the resort unless you catch a taxi or the free shuttle to the city.
The beach and ambiance
Location was nice and secluded, Staff were excellent. Rooms were fantastic. Great choice of food available and was well prepared and quick to arrive. Good access to day trips on site so easy to book.
Nothing bad to say about the Costabella - Well done, we had a great stay.
Great and I would say excellent breakfast, night time there is a local band and was very relaxing, nice swimming pool and very friendly staff.
Wifi issues in the room, location has nothing to offer outside the hotel facilities, must take a taxi and not very friendly walk once you leave the hotel.
Safety and serenity
I only liked the chef in the small restaurant by the swimming pool. The night we arrived we had a lovely dinner of asian style fish, rice and lovely desserts. This was the most memorable part of our stay at Costa Bella Hotel
My room (No. 200) was musty smelling and it appeared had never been aired for a while. I woke up with my leg full of bed bug bites. I still have the scars from the bites on my leg two weeks later ! My room was never cleaned properly. A mango that I ate in my room was left on a plate the day after and never cleaned out until I left. I think this hotel passed its glory days. I would not recommend it to anyone. There are better places to stay in Cebu that are not so remote (too far from the airport and scenic route to airport is not really scenic), better staffed and with better beach front (water was dirty, saw alot of floating water bottles etc.).
terrible internet connection.
