Crimson Beach Resort & Spa - Mactan Island, Cebu  

Food and staff was excellent!

the mattress was too soft and gave me a back ache every night.

The resort was located near the airport and, indeed, had a spacious bathroom (which probably compromised the space of the bedroom). The breakfast buffet has a wide selection for both Filipinos and Koreans. The beachfront saves you the hassle of bringing your own (hotel room) towel and provides towels and life jackets.

The walls of the hotel cottages/rooms were a bit thin and noise can easily penetrate. Room check is not coordinated with the front desk. Our experience had one of the hotel staff knocking on our door at around 09:30 (pretty early for us because we were only able to check in the hotel at around 02:00 in the morning after a red-eye flight) and the personnel not hearing our response, opened our door, found us still sleeping and left the door open (ajar). The price of a stay in the resort is pretty expensive for what it can offer and the resort looks "overstaffed" to a point that greetings are generous to a fault and privacy starts to become elusive.

the staff there are really service oriented. They always put customers at the first place. Compared with Shangri-la, crimson is more valued for money.

the internet! the wifi signal is weak and hard to connect all the time.

Almost too well manned. So many people working at this place! But undoubtedly that is good for the local economy, so fully understandable, this is a family place, and somewhat less suited for the individuel traveller. Excellent restaurant!

Internet / wifi is rather weak. Swimming pools only 90 cm deep, or there abouts. No deep segment at all for diving.

I like beach rest, veru beautiful places, all of staff were very polite and amazing cuisine.

Prices in bar are in several times higher than in the store.

- overall: it would have been a good deal at 60% of the price and if advertised as 4-star. Facilities and service definitely not 5-star - only 1 full-scope restaurant with secondary outlet at pool - food choice limited and quality mediocre - service - although very friendly - simply not professional and quite slow - No infrastructure whatsoever in the vicinity of the hotel (within 15-20 drive) for decent dining or shopping

Lilebeth Aquire this lady needs a star. I all my travels I have never found anyone who was more helpful.

I would not stay again because of the internet. It is very slow and not reliable and I do all my work on it and have to have good connection.

natural environment, beautiful sea, nice pools and rooms and good restaurant(only 2nd floor restaurant: tasty food, kindful staff)

too expensive all rates, low value of safaroon buffet(only 1st floor restaurant: no free coffee, no free juice, untasty food, unkind staff)

The management is really professional! Everything was just perfect! We enjoyed staying in this hotel and be back with pleasure:) we strongly recommend this hotel for those who travel to either Sebu or Mactan!

- Too many gays, not family friendly. - Making the New Year Party Mandatory forcing us to pay 5000 pesos a head, definitely not worth it. - Low quality resturaunts, do expect much bigger variaty when at this price level. - Too low beach capacity.

The beach is not that nice, but you need to go further afield in the Philippines to get good beaches and Crimson is based on convenience - 15 mins from airport.

Exceptional well presented place and people.Definently a resort to raise your innervibration to a higher level.

The food is way overpriced. The staff weren't able to coordinate with regards to transport arrangement,one staff quoted a different price to that of the other.The shoreline is a bit small.

J'ai surtout apprécié l'accueil à mon arrivée, la gentillesse et professionnalisme de l'équipe manager, le service au Saffron Café et le professionnalisme de son personnel et de son manager, surtout Madame Smets, et Mlle Ann, ainsi que l'équipe manager, surtout Mlle Valerie Bidad, et Mlle Julien, Mme Lilebeth S.Aguirre et son Big manager. A monsieur Cyrus pour son bon service de chambre, un lit toujours bien fait. En résumé, cet endroit est excellent. Félicitations Aux Bigs managers.

El staff muy atento. Fuimos a festejar un cumpleaños y se preocuparon porque todo saliera muy bien.

La playa es un poco pequeña y como había un casamiento el sábado casi que nos echaron de la playa a las 5 de la tarde.

Il n'y a vraiment rien autour, c'est l'hôtel et c'est tout! Pas plus de trois jours la bas faute de tourner en rond. Le prix des massages est totalement démesurer par rapport à un massage aux philippines!
